Pure Genius Season 1 Episode 3 "You Must Remember This" Review

The team tries reconstructing a police officer's brain when he loses his memory in a car accident.

This was a really great and interesting episode that had some parts that were a little confusing. The talk at the beginning where Zoe was concerned about a tape that showed her kissing Malik was a little weird of a moment because it kind of came out of nowhere because they never showed the two of them kissing. And then the fact that Zoe's emotions towards the kiss seemed to be all over the place didn't really help either. The patient who was having the memory loss was a little interesting with how James at first didn't seem to believe it was really but then learned to accept it once he got to know the guy. And the two actors who played the memory loss husband and his wife were so good at playing both their parts and showing the growing distance between the two of them because of the fact that the husband can't fully remember her. The two different experiments they did on him to work on his memory were kind of cool because it made a lot of sense in using that stuff to reactivate the brain, and it was really fun to see how excited James was in wanting to reprogram someone's brain. Then the ending for the patient and his wife was so sweet and kind of nice because it like wasn't perfect in he didn't remember everything but you could see that he was willing to work on it. The patient who was struggling to lose weight I really liked for the device they used to try and help her loose weight, then what was actually wrong with her and was the cause of why she was always hungry was very interesting to see. Then the relationship between her and her sister was really interesting with how close they were and kind of depended on each other, and with that I liked the line of "you are not the strongest version of yourself when I'm around and I'm not the strongest with you so I'm going to go." And just everything about that story plot was so sweet and had a lot of heart behind it with this women how has lost all hope and the doctors of Bunker Hill refuse to give up on her. Overall this was a really great and sweet episode that I enjoyed watching.
