Arrow Season 5 Episode 7 "Vigilante" Review

Oliver discovers there's a new vigilante in Star City when the bodies of two criminals are dropped at the SCPD. In flashbacks, Oliver faces Konstantin Kovar.

This was a very interesting and kind of cool episode that managed to be very well organized and make things well known without being too long. I liked this newer vigilante and how they were like Oliver was in the first season. It was also fun when the comment was made about how they team was okay with having this vigilante running around killing people but when it was brought up that Oliver used to do similar things they were offended and hated him for it. Having John be all upset about not being there for him sons birthday was kind of cool to see a non-calm version of him, but it was weird because his anger was very scattered and there one moment and gone the next. Then Lance's whole ordeal makes me still really curious about what is the truth and whether or not someone could be framing him because they know of a link between him and Oliver. The bank robbers seemed a little random and like they were really only there to give a better connection between the team and the new vigilante. The whole bank robbing scene was really fun and well done, I especially enjoyed the line of "we are really good at this, I think we picked the wrong career." It was a little weird how both Curtis and Evelyn didn't notice the vigilante sneak up on them and even weirder how the rest of the team didn't hear them getting attacked over them coms. I really hope to see more of the vigilante in the future because they seem like a really interesting character and I want to know who they are. Overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait for the next one which is the big all teams team up across all the different shows.
