Supergirl Season 1 Episode 13 "For the Girl Who Has Everything" Review

A parasitic alien attaches itself to Kara and traps her in a world where Krypton was never destroyed, leaving Alex, Hank, and the DEO to fend off a Kryptonian attack without her.

This was a really great episode that showed a bit of how the DEO would survive now that they have gotten so used to have Kara around. I liked seeing Kara's dreams of her back on Krypton and her living this perfect life and slowly forgetting all about her real life back on earth. But I find it a bit weird that they decided to show her slowly forgetting about the real world by having her forget the name earth when ever she was trying to talk about this other life. All the parts back at Catco were really fun with James and Winn coming up with all this different stuff to try and explain why Kara wasn't there. Then when Hank tried to disguise himself as Kara to help lessen that fact that Kara was missing but then in the end his comment saying that he has faced a lot of stuff but Cat had to be the worse. I don't know how I feel about James and Winn being brought to the DEO because I feel that in the future they are just going to walk into the DEO without permission now that they know where it is located. Then the parts with Astra were a bit confusing because she wanted to follow Non but also protect Kara, and the scene were Non confronts Astra about her helping Kara was a bit confusing with his sudden changes in mood. The ending fight with all the Kryptonians was really well done and I'm curious to fully see what Non has planned. And with Astra being out of the picture and the way she was taken out I don't think Alex can keep that secret from Kara for very long. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and i can't wait for the next one.
