Arrow Season 4 Episode 23 "Schism" Review
Oliver teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk and his magic once and for all.
This was a really great and interesting episode that was basically all about wrapping everything up. The whole idea of Lyla sending a group of normal people into Darhk layer to try and kill him seemed really kind of stupid and just gave him, even more, power. Then the opening where Darhk tried to get Felicity to come and work for him was interesting but it was mostly about giving Darhk back his daughter and stealing Felicity's computer. Then the getting off of the nukes was interesting with how all of the nukes seemed to be going to kind of random places all over the world. But it did create a really good moment with Oliver speaking to the citizens of Star City and reminding them that they have survived so much already, and all they need to do is stick together. Then Felicity actually coming up with a way to stop the nukes seemed a little odd to me because it was so last moment of a decision. Then the final fight scene between Oliver and Darhk was great with Oliver gaining control of some light magic because all the citizens of Star City believe in him. The ending where everyone breaks off to go rethink their lives and stuff like that was very interesting to see but I don't think it will last too long into the next season. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait for the next season.
