Supergirl Season 4 Episode 8 "Bunker Hill" Review

Nia has a powerful dream about Agent Liberty but refuses to look at it as a prophetic dream and pushes it aside. After noticing something is bothering Nia, Kara enlists Brainy's help, and the two try to persuade Nia to embrace her destiny. Meanwhile, Manchester Black pays Ben Lockwood a menacing visit.

This was a really great episode that was so well done in its storyline and had a lot of great moments to it. Everything with Brainy and Nia was great with Brainy helping to guide Nia though her dreams to figure out what everything means and where the attack is taking place and just really helping Nia to control things more rather than just living through her dreams. Then all the scenes with the three of them going to this small town to hunt down Ben Lockwood was great with them seeing more of the reach of the Children of Liberty and having to avoid getting into to much trouble. Manchester Black's confrontation with Lockwood was great with Lockwood's wife learning what Ben has been up to. And just seeing all the conversations and fighting between Manchester and Lockwood was really great. Then the final moments with Ben being arrested for his actions and seeing the public outcry for his arrest was interesting to see. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was so great to watch.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 7 "Rather the Fallen Angel" Review

James falls in deeper with the Children of Liberty in his efforts to meet Agent Liberty. Meanwhile, Supergirl and Manchester Black follow a lead on Agent Liberty's location, but things take a dark turn. Lena kicks off her first set of trials.

This was a really good and interesting episode that had some very entertaining moments to it. Everything with Kara in this episode was interesting with Manchester Black going against Supergirl's back to try and get closer to Agent Liberty faster. Then the whole scene with her being locked inside the monument was interesting with what all she did to alert James of her presence. Then James continuing to befriend the Children of Liberty and having to go through this big action to prove his loyalty and save his friends was all really well done. Especially in his actions when he finally decided to turn away from the Children of Liberty and fight against them in a way that saved both of his friends. Then everything with Lena was so well done with her going through these first human trails of her new serum. How she chose to approach the situation at first was very interesting with Lena choosing to only call the patient by his code number but then growing to become more familiar and friendly with the patient and suffering a bit when he eventually dies from the serum. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 4 "Wet Hot American Bummer" Review

When the Legends discover that kids at a summer camp have disappeared, Sara, Ava, Ray, and Constantine find themselves as the new camp counselors. At camp, Ava struggles to get along with the kids, but Constantine whips up a potion that helps Sara and Ava bond with the children. Luckily, the team finds clues to the whereabouts of the missing kids, but the battle to save them leaves one member in bad shape. Meanwhile, Rory and Zari are tasked with watching the fugitive and Rory finds a kinship with their "prisoner."

This was a really fun and entertaining episode that had a fun storyline to it and it was interesting to see how all the different characters dealt with the situations they feel into. Everything with Ava and Sara was interesting with there different approaches to trying to get information out of the kids. Then the plot around Ava finally getting to experience what it is like to be a kid and how that played into them finding the monster was great. Then seeing Ray and Constantine try and work together was so much fun with how much there personalities clashes. Then the witch who is the monster in this episode was really confusing because they did all this set up saying that the witch is female just to then switch things up and have the witch actually be male was so odd and confusing to follow. Everything with Rory and Zari was interesting with them getting to know Charlie more and figuring out where she stands with the team and really stepping up to help everyone identify that monster. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was so much fun to watch.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 6 "Call to Action" Review

As everyone gathers for Thanksgiving, Kara is feeling down after her televised debate with Ben Lockwood; James and Lena argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty.

This was a really interesting episode that had some entertaining moments to it but it also did feel a little long at some points. It was really interesting and kind of cool to see Supergirl and Manchester Black working together to take out Children of Liberty members. Then everything with James working to continue to grow a relationship with the Children of Liberty in order to find the identity of Agent Liberty. The conversation between Lena and James was really interesting where Lena brings up the idea of changing peoples DNA in order to put them on an equal playing field as aliens. James's ideas around that were great where he brings up that is a nice idea but it is hard to regulate and makes some people to powerful. Then the whole attack on aliens on Thanksgiving night was interesting with how everything laid out with this secret invisible marks that the Children of Liberty's masks can see the marks on alien's houses. And it was really fun to see the one house that was attacked had some guard dragons that Supergirl had to deal with alongside the Children of Liberty. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was kind of fun to watch.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 3 "Dancing Queen" Review

When the Legends discover a fugitive is hiding in 1970’s London, they realize he is part of a gang that is targeting the British Monarchy. Trying to stop the gang, they realize someone from the Legends must infiltrate them. Surprising everyone, Ray is the one to gain their trust after he is put through a series of tests with help from Sara and Rory. Meanwhile, Gary shows Nate the ropes at the Time Bureau, but it turns out to be anything other than an ordinary day at the office.

This was a really great episode that had a lot of really fun moments to it and it was kind of fun to have a somewhat Ray focused episode. With that everything with Ray was really great with him trying to prove himself as a punk rock when he really is not. The best scene, in my opinion, was when Ray had to try and steal one of the queen’s corgis and how the rest of the team helped him out was really fun. The only part that kind of confused me was Ray’s reactions to everything going on and was he aware of others helping him or not. Then the team working to figure out who the magical creature is was fun when they first thought it was a leprechaun and they went through the whole test to see if there is one. The magical creature actually being a shapeshifter was interesting with the direction they decided to take the story where Ray was against sending her to hell. Then the shapeshifter getting stuck as Amaya was an interesting move that I’m curious to see how the team will grow to that new reality. Nate and Gary’s storyline wasn’t all that important but it was still fun to see Nate growing to this new path of his life. Then just overall this was a really fun episode and I can’t wait to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 5 "Parasite Lost" Review

Colonel Haley makes a surprising decision about Supergirl; Kara writes a series of articles about aliens in National City that end up putting them in harm's way.
This was a really great episode that had two very good storylines to it. Everything with Kara and her doing these interviews for the paper was interesting with how she chose to do it and just the alien she chose to interview was really interesting. And it interesting with what they chose to do with that storyline where Kara saw him as a truly good man that could do no wrong and the more she looked into him she discovered some possible darker sides to him and just how she chose to approach that and deal with that was interesting to see. Then just the whole storyline around this guy and him being a healing alien and having a secret daughter that he was unable to ever see and how everyone dealt with that was interesting. Then everything with Jensen in this episode was okay with him having the parasite inside him and needing to feed off of aliens powers to be able to keep himself stable. How they chose to show everything around that was okay with how Alex chose to deal with trying to save Johnson and just how much of a menace Jensen could become because of the fact of his fear. Then the moments with Alex and the new Colonel Haley were great where Alex was afraid that Haley was going to be very aggressive and mean but through most of the episode she was really nice and then once Alex chose to defy Haley's decisions that are when you really got to see this other side to the colonel. Everything with James in this episode was great with him navigating how to deal with his new spotlight in these anti-alien groups and just how that was all shown and stuff was really great but I wish they would have shown more of his fighting during the ending scenes when Jensen is causing a lot of chaos. Then just overall this was a really great episode that had a lot of very interesting and entertaining moments to it and I'm very curious to see what they're going to do next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 4 "Ahimsa" Review

Alex asks Lena and Brainiac to team up and help Supergirl; J'onn discovers new ways to help his fellow aliens after running into Manchester Black.
This was a really interesting episode that was a little confusing in its plot but it was still a really cool episode for all of what happened. Everything with Alex in this episode was interesting with her being under a lot of because of the kryptonite being in the atmosphere because of the device was stolen from the DEO. One part that bugged me was with Supergirl and how she refused to listen to Alex even after Alex explained some of the situations to Kara and yet after all that Kara didn’t listen and almost destroyed the suite and got herself killed. But it was also weird how Alex didn’t explain everything when telling Supergirl to stand down she could have said things like the “president and all these other people are telling me to tell you to relax and if you don’t I’ll get in trouble,” that would have made more sense in my mind. Instead, Alex goes and tells Supergirl to relax because she feels it is the best action, that is just less impactful and made it easy for Kara to not listen, and that kind of bugged me. It was interesting to see how Kara chose to fight in the suite because she really couldn’t use her powers besides flight and strength. Then everything with J'onn and Manchester was great with them working together to find there friend and how that all worked out was interesting and I’m really curious to see what Manchester will do next to get what he wants. Then the moments with Lena and Brainiac was fun with them working to get the kryptonite out of the atmosphere and seeing how each of them handles things was interesting. The other major part that bugged me was the Children of Liberty’s plan to make people more afraid. Where there plan involved creating alien attacks, in my mind how does that make sense because alien attacks happen a lot so why would these certain attacks make any difference for people. It was interesting to see what happened when James chose to step up and be Guardian again where he didn’t get in trouble for it but he was also praised by the anti-alien groups. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 2 "Witch Hunt" Review

When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara notices that Zari is taking the case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn't been expecting. Meanwhile, Nate and Ava work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists.

This was a really interesting and fun episode that had an entertaining story to it. Everything around the witch hunting was really interesting with them bringing up Jane Hawthorne and what happened to her and the legends have to decide whether they should interfere with this major event. I do wish they would have gone into more detail on what happened to Salem afterward because they somewhat proved the existence of magic and let Jane go so Salem didn't burn down so what effects did those changed have on Salem or did nothing change. Then the introduction of the fairy godmother was really great with the rules they set up when John couldn't just ban her to hell without banishing the girl the fairy godmother is connected to as well. So how they managed to get Prudence to reject her fairy godmother and fix the mistakes she made was all interesting. Then the conversation between John and the fairy godmother was really exciting where the godmother refused to work for John and said that hell would be better than fight what is coming for John, and that makes me really excited to know what it is that is coming for John. Then the moments with Nate and Ava working to prove that magic exists to Nate's father were so much fun with how they used Ray to do so and how the relationship between Nate and his father grew because of this discovery of what Nate does. I really do hope that Nate doesn't leave the team to join the bureau because he is one of my more favorite characters so I don't want him to disappear into more of a side character. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and fun episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 3 "Man of Steel" Review

The story of how Ben Lockwood became Agent Liberty is told.

This was a really great episode that was so interesting and fun to watch and I really loved how they just only focused on the villain and how he got there. I really enjoyed seeing Ben's whole story where at first he wanted to work alongside aliens but after so many times of aliens ruining his life and not being held accountable for it he finally snapped and that was just amazing to see those gradual shifts as time went on. It was especially great to see that one major turning point for him which was when the Daxomites attacked and during the fight, Ben's family house got burned down and they lost everything, it was just great to see that shift in his attitude from that point on. Then seeing his gradual growth in followers around his anti-alien agenda was really interesting especially with how the Graves fit into that. Everything with Lena was also really interesting where she cut off the Lockwood family from her work going with a different steel company instead and that being a defining decision that causes the family to begin to spiral. Then Ben and Lena's whole conversation at the funeral was just a great moment to show how much Ben had changed. Then just overall this was a really interesting and entertaining episode and I'm very curious to see what they're going to do next now that Supergirl is stuck in that suit.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 1 "The Virgin Gary" Review

After the Legends defeated Mallus and wiped the final anachronism from time they find themselves in unfamiliar territory with the Time Bureau. All that changes when Constantine informs Sara of a new magical threat that leads the team to Woodstock. Constantine thinks he knows how to defeat the new threat but will need the help of the team and their special klepto talents to help with his spell. Meanwhile, Nate and Rory go on an adventure leaving Nate facing someone from his past.

This was a really fun and great first episode for the season that did a nice job of setting up what is to come. I really enjoyed how they reintroduced all of the main characters and plotted out more development for them especially for Nate in this episode you got to meet a bit more of him with the introduction of his family and seeing what his relationship is like with them and sort of where he came from. Which is something that's really interesting and I'm very curious to see how all that's going to work out going forward. Then everything with Sarah and Ava was really great with their relationship developing and but Sarah's worried about the secrets that she's keeping and how that might affect their relationship especially when John shows up. I just really enjoyed how each of the members discovers the problem at Woodstock and how they all arrive there pretty simultaneously. Then the main villain in this episode was really great with it being a unicorn and how unicorns aren't like we expect them to be where they are actually really evil and want to eat your heart. How Sarah managed to convince John to help out was really great where it was him against it until he discovers that they're fighting a unicorn and then he got really excited that was just a fun little moment. I also really loved how in order to stop the unicorn they had to collect a bunch of items from some of the more famous people that were at Woodstock I just thought that was a really great way to show off some of the people. Then how they actually stop the unicorn by needing Garry's help was such an interesting moment where they need him because of the fact that he was only one that was a virgin and that would help. Then how is episode ended was really interesting and I'm very curious to know what this big threat is that's coming after John and how he's going to ride with the Legends now he that he's running away to them. Then just overall this was a really great first episode and I'm really curious and excited to see what's going to happen next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 2 "Fallout" Review

When a shocking revelation brings chaos to National City, Supergirl sets out to capture Mercy Graves.

This was a really interesting and great episode that had a lot of really good moments to it. I really enjoyed the moments of somewhat of organized chaos where everyone is freaking out about who might be an alien or not. Then everything around Mercy's plan for this episode was interesting with her attacking the alien's image inducers to reveal more aliens to the public. And I really enjoyed the scenes with Kara being stuck in L Corp when Mercy attacks and not being able to escape Lena long enough to change into Supergirl, it was just really funny and made some really great moments of her hiding her powers from Lena. Then Mercy's escape from the DEO with her bother was so interesting because the managed to use their words to influence and create mistrust in a DEO agent Jensen. Then everything with Brainiac-5 was really interesting with him being one of the people who was affected by the image inducer hack and having to face the prejudice face on and seeing how people are more then what you know them as. I'm very curious in that scene where Nia arrived to help out Brainiac-5 was them showing Nia's powers of foresight for the first time or if they are showing it as her fighting against injustice different then the injustice and prejudice she has face her whole life or both. Then the moments with Nia and James was interesting with James being hesitant on whether or not to share his opinion on alien rights and make CatCo pick a side in the fight. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I'm really excited to see what will happen next with the atmosphere being irritated with Kryptonite and affecting Kara.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 1 "American Alien" Review

Supergirl is called into action when remnants of Cadmus attempt to assassinate pro-alien leaders, but their endgame turns out to be more sinister than she thinks.

This was a really great first episode that did a great job of cleaning up what happened last season as well as building up what will happen this season.

I really loved how so far this season there seems to be multiple main villains for the season because that was one thing that bugged me last season is how they so heavily focused on Reign right out of the gate by the end of the season they seemed to be running out of things to do involving Reign so it was becoming tiresome to watch her. But this season having multiple villains is a great idea because there is this group doing hate crimes on aliens to fill in for part of the season and make things seem more down to earth and local but then later they can bring in the evil Supergirl to fill in for other parts of the season and that is good to keep things fresh in my opinion.

I also loved the balance in this episode between the DEO and CatCo because last season they kind of forgot about CatCo so having a good balance is nice to navigate Kara’s life. The introduction of Nia was so great and I loved how they were willing to joke about how Nia is like season one Kara and current Kara is like Cat.

Then the relationship growth shown between Alex and Brainy was really great in this episode with them getting used to working together and also understand each other’s losses in missing people like Winn and the rest of the Legion.

Then J'onn in this episode was interesting with him working to leave his life as an agent but still feeling a need to investigate into wrongs he sees. Then I loved the scene where he and Supergirl are J'onn are talking and J'onn says how he can’t help her fight but he will always be there for her emotionally and in other aspects of her life.

Then just overall this was a really well done first episode and I can’t wait to see what will happen next after how this episode ended with the reveal of the President being an alien.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 18 "Lose Yourself" Review

Barry and the team find a way into the Thinker's lair; Ralph considers crossing a dangerous line to defeat him; Joe is concerned by Harry's recent behavior.

This was a really entertaining and fun episode that had a lot of great moments to it. Everything around the search for Edwin and the discovery that his powers give him the ability to cross dimensions was really great. Then the debate between Barry and Ralph on whether or on to kill DeVoe if they are given the chance was really great because you could kind of see both sides of the argument. The moments between Joe and Harry were interesting with Joe confronting Harry about his addiction to the thinking cap, but those moments also felt really weird and random even if they were justified. Then the whole final fight scenes were amazing with Killer Frost, Flash, and Vibe all being trapped and everything was up to the rest of Team Flash. The moments between Iris and The Engineer were great with them having a battle more or less of who cares more. Then Joe taking on one of the samuroid's I wish would have gotten more screen time because that is something I would have loved to see. Then Ralph deciding to take the non-lethal rout to stop DeVoe was really great to see even though it didn't end well for him. The ending moments of realization the while in the fight with DeVoe he did something that caused Catlin to lose Killer Frost was really heartbreaking. And just overall this was a really amazing episode that makes me really excited to see what will happen next.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 17 "Null and Annoyed" Review

Barry and Ralph try to find the remaining bus metas before DeVoe gets them. However, Ralph's attitude frustrates Barry and they clash over what it means to be a hero. Meanwhile, Breacher returns to ask Cisco for a favor.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really fun moments to it. The main villain in this episode of Null was a little confusing on her powers because they didn't explain them greatly and they were just done really sloppily in my mind. Yes, it was really entertaining to watch Null float things in the air use that as her way to steal things and the problems that come to the Flash because of her powers. Then the conflict between Barry and Ralph was interesting to see especially by the end of the episode where both of them learn something out of the conflict and we got to learn a bit more about Ralph's backstory. I did really love the Iris finally called Barry out for his bullshit when it came to all his complaint about Ralph's attitude because it really did seem like from the beginning Barry was trying to turn Ralph into him which is just not right. Then everything with Cisco and Breacher was just such an amazing side story that was so funny. I didn't much care for how much Cisco was willing to lie just for the hope of seeing Gypsy again. But still, it was really great seeing Cisco and Breacher interacting with each other and the topic around how Breacher is too old now for his powers to work. Then just overall this was a really amazing episode that was so much fun to watch.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 16 "Run, Iris, Run" Review

Iris is given Barry's speed when the team fights a bus meta who has the ability to swap people's DNA.

This was a really great episode that was so much fun to watch what it would be like if Iris and Barry switched places. It was interesting to see how Iris to the comment from Ralph to heart about how she always throws other people at the problem and never really puts herself in any danger. So this episode made it kind of cool to see her step up and do the heroing for herself and had to come up with quick solutions to problems just like Barry would have to. The one scene that kind of bugged me was when Iris was trying to put out the fire and by moving her arms in the opposite direction it somehow putts out the fire instead of increasing it. I get why the scene was there for comedic purposes but still, it was kind of dumb. Then the "villain" in this episode that they were trying to catch was really great because he wasn't actually a bad guy he thought his powers where to take away powers from people so he used it to stop bad people from hurting others but then he slowly learned the truth about what was actually happening with his powers. Then everything around Cisco and Harry building a thinking cap of there own to try and out think the Thinker was a really interesting side story for this episode with how Cisco reacted to the idea because he didn't want the chance of Harry becoming evil. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I'm excited for more.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 15 "Enter Flashtime" Review

Barry, Jessie Quick and Jay Garrick slow down time when a nuclear bomb detonates in downtown Central City.

This was a really great and interesting episode that had an amazing story taking place around a few seconds. So to explain that a bit more this episode takes place with Flash and other speedsters slowing down time so that they can figure out how to stop a bomb from blowing up Central City. And with that, it was interesting to see all the different steps Barry went through to stop the bomb and how he slowly brought all his friends into play to try and come up with different plans that didn't quite go to plan. I really liked how they made Cisco and Killer Frost's powers not work while they were going at an accelerated speed, that seemed like a really smart move to me that made way more sense then if their powers did work. Then the whole conversation around launching the bomb into the Speed Force was really great with Jay bringing up how they don't know the possible consequences of a bomb that size going off in a delicate area that is the Speed Force. Everything with Jessie and Wells was really great with them finally finding a way to get out there anger towards one another find some solid footing once again. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that they gave Iris the ability to come up with the one plan that actually worked it really felt like they were giving her to much power and brains for who she is supposed to be as a character. But that being said the plan was really cool with Barry using that lightning from the Speed Force to stop the bomb and he did that by removing the device the team used to free Barry in the first episode of this season. The ending of this episode was really great with the whole conversation between Wells and Catlin about how Catlin remembers part of what went on while being Killer Frost and then the Mystery girl shows up to interrupt them. Then just overall this was a really great and entertaining episode that had so many amazing moments to it.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 14 "Subject 9" Review

Barry meets a powerful woman whose abilities could help him in his battle with De Voe. Meanwhile, after learning that De Voe is targeting everyone who was on the bus, Ralph decides he doesn't want to be a hero anymore, his only concern is staying alive. Harry offers to help Cecile, with her "problem", with Joe.

This was a really interesting and great episode that had a lot of really fun moments to it. I really enjoyed the concept in this episode of Barry trying to race against the clock to save the next person on De Voe's list before De Voe can get to them. Then this newer Metahuman's powers were really cool with her almost being like a banshee but she can also use other sound modes besides her voice to create the same effect which leads to a really cool creation of a violin that she could use as a sound weapon against De Voe. I don't really know how I feel about the whole relationship between Ralph and this new girl it just felt really kind of rushed and weird but it was nice to see a different side of Ralph and see him step up to be a guide for someone else. Everything around Cecile and Harry in this episode was really great with them working together to help each other out and Cecile learning that Harry is looking to make more friends with people. All of there scenes also lead to a really cool moment of Harry creating a device that was mention last season by the evil future Barry that they used to stop De Voe's powers. Then just overall this was a really great episode that was so entertaining to watch and I very curious to see where they will go next.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 12 "And the Echoes of Memory" Review

After the world is morphed into a horrible and unrecognizable place - one where the Library never existed - it’s up to Baird to bring the Librarians together before this bleak, knowledge-less world becomes the new reality.

This was a really good episode and it was fun to watch but it didn’t make the greatest of season finales and the ending just left me really angry. It was interesting to see how they decided to perceive a world where the Library never existed and they made everything really dull and boring because of it. I really liked the storyline around Baird having to go and find all the Librarians and try and prove to them that the memories they all have about the Library are true and they need to work together to bring it back. Everything with Flynn was interesting with it coming out that Flynn didn’t actually leave the Library he was kidnapped by Nicole and kept hidden away all this time. The thing that really annoyed me is how this episode ended with everything being fixed and going back to the first episode before the problems involving the cornerstones. So basically setting it up so that nothing in this season mattered or even happened which makes me really angry because there were so many good moments and great character growth that now didn’t happen and I don’t understand why they had to do that. But still, overall this was a really nice ending that had some great moments to it and I’m sad this series didn’t get picked up for another season.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 13 "True Colors" Review

Amunet makes a deal to buy all of the metahumans in Iron Heights, so Barry must decide if he should expose his powers to save his cellmates.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that was so much fun to watch and see how everything worked out. I really loved all the villains that they brought back from previous episodes in this season to play a part in helping Barry escape before Amunet gets her hands on him. It was also really nice how each person brought something to the team to help them all to escape and keep them working together. It was a little weird and confusing how everyone figured out that Barry is a speedster but they couldn't put together the pieces that maybe he is the Flash. Then the ending where DeVoe shows up to take all the metahumans was interesting with DeVoe turning everyone against Barry by telling them the truth about who Barry is and then he goes and steals all the others powers and kills them. Then the moments with Ralph in this episode were great with him discovering these new abilities he has which is the ability to mold himself into other people which he uses to go and talk to Amunet and find a way to finally free Barry. Which everything around Ralph in this episode was really great with him lacking in confidence and that is causing his powers to become weaker and the rest of Team Flash finding ways to help boost Ralph up. Then with how this episode ended, I'm very curious to see what other plans DeVoe has and how that might affect the other metahumans as well as Ralph. Then just overall this was a really great and exciting episode that was a lot of fun to watch.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 11 "And the Trial of the One" Review

As tensions between the Librarians escalate over which of them is the most deserving to participate in the tethering ceremony with Baird, the Library steps in and turns each of the Librarians into their most primal selves, and are sent to survive a terrifying alternate reality to determine who is the most worthy.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that in my opinion with a few changes it could have made a great season finale. I really liked the idea of this group of trials that are created to pick the best Librarian, but I wished they would have been explained a bit more because some parts kind of seemed really weird. Like the fact that it was explained at the beginning of the trials that it is just about the Librarians and Baird can't get involved but all she ended up doing was getting involved. Then the beginning part of the trials was great with each of the Librarians forced to live through there greatest fears with Casandra's being forced to relive a time she was bullied, Jakup's was his fear of magic playing out, and Ezekiel's was finally being caught and sent to prison. Mixed in with these fears they had the other Librarians playing a role in there torture so they learned to hate each other which was a really clever idea to get them willing to fight each other to the death. Then Baird part in all this was weird like I said where at first it seemed like she was separated off to watch everything that was happening to the Librarians but then there was a turn where it turned out she was a part of the trial as well. The ending was interesting with the Librarians refusing to fight each other which cost Jenkins his life and I was really surprised they were willing to take things that far as to kill him off. Then the ending of the whole episode was interesting with the return of Nicole and her using her knowledge to destroy the Libray and turn the world into an alternate reality where the Library never existed. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode that had some great moments to it.
