The Librarians Season 4 Episode 12 "And the Echoes of Memory" Review
After the world is morphed into a horrible and unrecognizable place - one where the Library never existed - it’s up to Baird to bring the Librarians together before this bleak, knowledge-less world becomes the new reality.
This was a really good episode and it was fun to watch but it didn’t make the greatest of season finales and the ending just left me really angry. It was interesting to see how they decided to perceive a world where the Library never existed and they made everything really dull and boring because of it. I really liked the storyline around Baird having to go and find all the Librarians and try and prove to them that the memories they all have about the Library are true and they need to work together to bring it back. Everything with Flynn was interesting with it coming out that Flynn didn’t actually leave the Library he was kidnapped by Nicole and kept hidden away all this time. The thing that really annoyed me is how this episode ended with everything being fixed and going back to the first episode before the problems involving the cornerstones. So basically setting it up so that nothing in this season mattered or even happened which makes me really angry because there were so many good moments and great character growth that now didn’t happen and I don’t understand why they had to do that. But still, overall this was a really nice ending that had some great moments to it and I’m sad this series didn’t get picked up for another season.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 11 "And the Trial of the One" Review
As tensions between the Librarians escalate over which of them is the most deserving to participate in the tethering ceremony with Baird, the Library steps in and turns each of the Librarians into their most primal selves, and are sent to survive a terrifying alternate reality to determine who is the most worthy.
This was a really great and entertaining episode that in my opinion with a few changes it could have made a great season finale. I really liked the idea of this group of trials that are created to pick the best Librarian, but I wished they would have been explained a bit more because some parts kind of seemed really weird. Like the fact that it was explained at the beginning of the trials that it is just about the Librarians and Baird can't get involved but all she ended up doing was getting involved. Then the beginning part of the trials was great with each of the Librarians forced to live through there greatest fears with Casandra's being forced to relive a time she was bullied, Jakup's was his fear of magic playing out, and Ezekiel's was finally being caught and sent to prison. Mixed in with these fears they had the other Librarians playing a role in there torture so they learned to hate each other which was a really clever idea to get them willing to fight each other to the death. Then Baird part in all this was weird like I said where at first it seemed like she was separated off to watch everything that was happening to the Librarians but then there was a turn where it turned out she was a part of the trial as well. The ending was interesting with the Librarians refusing to fight each other which cost Jenkins his life and I was really surprised they were willing to take things that far as to kill him off. Then the ending of the whole episode was interesting with the return of Nicole and her using her knowledge to destroy the Libray and turn the world into an alternate reality where the Library never existed. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode that had some great moments to it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 10 "And Some Dude Named Jeff" Review
When Jenkins body-switches with a 28-year-old slacker named Jeff, he must find his way back into the Library to correct the mistake. But he will need a team to do it, and enlists the help of Jeff's hapless Dungeons and Dragons friends. Can they make it in time, before Jeff destroys the Library?
This was a really interesting and great episode that had so many fun and funny moments do it. I really enjoyed that this episode did focus on Jenkins and him somewhat of discovering what it's like to be mortal. Everything around that was really fun with him unwillingly taking over the life of Jeff and having to deal with the mundane parts of life. Each of Jeff's friends was really fun with how they played into the grander scheme of getting back into the library. With that, the whole backdoor Quest that they all had to go through to get Jenkins back in the library and back into his own body was really fun with all the different dynamics of it. Then everything around the Jeff inside of Jenkins body was interesting with how the librarians slowly managed to figure out that it's not actually Jenkins. I do wish they would have spent a bit more time on the librarians and Jeff but still, it was fun to see everything around that. Then everything around them saving the library from this monster that Jeff brought in and eventually switching the bodies back between Jeff and Jenkins was interesting but again I wish they would have spent a bit more time on the ending it just felt like a really rushed ending. And then just overall this was a really fun and great episode to watch.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 9 "And a Town Called Feud" Review
When a Civil War reenactment in a town called Feud is plagued by ghosts, the Librarians have to uncover the truth of what really happened there over 100 years ago.
This was a really entertaining and fun episode that had some really great moments to it. I did really like the whole mystery around what was the artifact and the idea around people changing history to fit a narrative. And that was so great to see the Librarians slowly figure out that everything they were being told about the town and the Feud brothers was not actually true and that the lady in charge of the museum made it up to attract more people to the town. And it was interesting how each of the ghosts that the Librarian saw played into them figuring out what was going on with them either seeing the Feud brothers or their other family members. Then I really love the ending with the two brothers taking over the bodies of Jacob and Ezekiel and reenacting the last battle with several of the other members of the Town also being possessed. And through that reenactment, it's finally showed everyone what actually happened on the battlefield and that was just really great to sort of also get rid of the tension growing between Ezekiel and Jakob on who should be the Librarian. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and great episode that had a lot of really great moments to it in a really nice storyline.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 8 "And the Hidden Sanctuary" Review
After Cassandra freezes up during a mission, she decides it's past time to go on a vacation. Searching for her ideal town, she lands on Havenport, the "Safest Town in America." At first blush, it seems just what she needed, but is there always a price to pay for unrealistic peace of mind?
This was a really great and entertaining episode that was probably my favorite episode of the season. I really loved that this whole episode revolved just around Cassandra and she had to figure out how to solve that problem all on her own. It was also really interesting how very few people in the town seemed to notice the odd luck of the town except for Cassandra and the friend she made in the town. It was fun to see town quickly the town went crazy once bad things did start happening. Then I really liked seeing Cassandra as an actual librarian in the town and the passion she had for the job and how she just connected with the one kid because of it. The scene where the whole town is holding a meeting and Cassandra brings up the question of what has changed recently to cause the bad luck was great because the one major thing that changed was her showing up. Then I wished they would have set up the fairy a bit more because the opening scene in the episode felt really kind of random and then they took forever to introduce the fairy as the bad guy but by then things were at apocalypse levels. It was interesting how the town managed to work together to trap the fairy and find a way to help it so it would stop harming them. Then just overall this was a really great and fun episode that I really loved.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 7 "And the Disenchanted Forest" Review
When dissension threatens the group, Baird takes the Librarians to a charismatic self-help guru's team building camp on the edge of a forest where people have been mysteriously disappearing. Is there a monster in the woods? Or is something more sinister going on? And can the Librarians get their team mojo back in time to defeat it?
This was a really entertaining and great episode that was so much fun to watch all the twists and turns leading to the discovery of what is actually going on at the camp. I really liked the small bit of camp competition between The Librarians and DOSA and them fighting against each other but when things start getting really freaky they find a way to work together. The moments with Cassandra were fun with her doing all the different things that are usually apart of camp movies and Ezekiel having to deal with a brunt of her tricks. Then the moments with Stone were interesting with him finding a girl that really interests him and discovering the truth about her and her small ties back to the Library. Then the whole camp counselor was interesting with how they decided to have him operate where he knows that people are disappearing but he doesn't know how and he is trying his best not to look into it. Then the truth about the forest they were in was interesting with it being the first forest but the whole DOSA side of things felt a little weird because they seemed to change their minds really quickly from wanting to destroy the forest to wanting to set up all these protections actions to keep the forest stable and intact. And just overall this was a really fun and interesting episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 6 "And the Graves of Time" Review
When Baird goes after Nicole Noone in an attempt to repair her rift with the Library, she ends up joining Nicole in a mission to retrieve a dangerous artifact before it falls into the hands of Russian grave robbers. But can she convince Nicole to forgive the Library and return home with her? Or, will Nicole open Baird's eyes to the dangers of a Guardian dedicating herself, heart and soul, to the Library?
This was a really interesting episode that had a lot of great moments to it and it was fun to watch how the whole story unfolded. I really liked that for the most part, this episode focused on Nicole and Baird, and them working together and forming a relationship. It was interesting to see the moments where Nicole showed Baird what a life of immortality will look like and how hard that can weigh on a person after a while. Then it was fun to see the connection between the artifact they were hunting and how it tied back to Rasputin and Nicole's past together. Then the moments where the team got split off into the different group again was great with Flynn and Nicole being partnered up together and Baird and Jenkins being together and that sort of help to show Baird Nicole's other side. Then when the full truth came out of who these Russian grave robbers are it was fun to see how the team managed to escape and what all they did to keep everyone together. I really don't know how I feel about Nicole still I don't think she is in favor for the Library and the whole conversation she had with Flynn that caused him to leave was really suspicious of if she just wants to leave or if she wants to destroy the Library. Overall this was a really great and fun episode that had a lot of entertaining moments to it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 5 "And the Bleeding Crown" Review
A Librarian from the past teams up with the Librarians of the present to take down an ancient and powerful enemy let loose in the modern day. When superfan Flynn is met with the prospect of teaming with his Librarian hero Darrington Dare, he could not be more excited, until Darrington leaves the Librarians with this dire warning: There can be only one Librarian - ignore at your own peril.
This was a really fun and interesting episode that had a lot of really great moments to it and it feels really kind of weird that this seems like the first major episode for the underlining plot of the season and it took this long for them to get to it. I really loved the introduction of a past Librarian in Darrington Dare and just getting to see the contrast and similarities between how he and the other Librarians operated. Then the whole episode revolving around Darrington and his mortal enemy that can time travel and create really bad clones of himself is a little weird of a plot line but it still was fun. And the side effects of turning the town's residents old was an interesting addition but it felt weird and kind of pointless in the grander scheme of things. Then Darrington bringing up how prophecy has stated that there can only be one Librarian is an interesting understory for the season and I'm very curious to see where that will take the characters. Then the whole decision Flynn had to make between being there for his friends or his hero was interesting to watch him jump back and forth before actually making a real plan. Then just overall this was a really interesting and okay episode that had some parts that I liked and some parts that I really didn't care for much.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 4 "And the Silver Screen" Review
Drawn into the world of Baird's favorite film noir movie, the Librarians must perfect their skills in lassoing, sharpshooting, and snappy dialogue to make it out alive.
This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that wasn't the greatest episode out there. I really loved the concept of this episode with Baird and Flynn are stuck in a film that they have to go through the movie to complete required tasks. But even with this great concept, I feel they didn't deliver on the storyline like they could have. It was fun to watch Baird lead Flynn through the film because she has it completely memorized and they had to find other storylines within the film to find the true storyline that has been kept secret from the public. Then it was fun to watch the rest of the librarians try and help Baird and Flynn as well as get to them by going through a bunch of other movies, which is another concept that they should have done more with. Then the ending was really confusing and random with how they tried to connect the real world to the real storyline within the movie there stuck in. Overall this was a really entertaining and okay episode to watch but I wish they could have done more with it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 3 "And the Christmas Thief" Review
Santa takes Flynn, Baird, and Jenkins on his first vacation in centuries; the Librarians use Santa's sleigh to save Ezekiel's career-criminal mother, as well as Christmas itself, from Santa's grinch of a brother, the Patron Saint of Thieves.
This was a really entertaining and fun episode to watch and see how everything played out and get to know a bit more about Ezekiel. With that, it was really fun to meet Ezekiel's family and get to see the environment that he grew up in and I really liked how we watching always knew him as this master thief but to his family, he is a failure because he never brought any of his success home. I really loved when they had to break into the house of thieves and Ezekiel had to keep reminding his mother to not say his name because he is very well known there for his past work. And just seeing Ezekiel gain favor from his mother once the truth came out was fun. And just overall this was a really fun and entertaining episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 2 "And the Steal of Fortune" Review
When people begin getting hurt in the unluckiest of ways, the Librarians follow the trail to a casino where the owner appears to possess an artifact capable of stealing people's luck.
This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really fun moments to it and did a nice job giving each Librarian there moment to shine. I really like the beginning of the episode where the Librarians are starting to realize the consequences that come with being the Librarian and having to keep it a secret. The parallels between there reaction and those of Flynn back in the movies was really great. Then Flynn taking on the more Judson roll was really fun with him popping up in mirror and stuff to give advice. Then I liked the connection between the Librarians and the case in this episode where Jake's friend is one of the people who got hurt by the bad luck. Then I liked the difference between Cassandra and Ezekial were once in the casino Cassandra was really lucky and winning everything and Ezekiel is freaking out because he isn't winning. The truth of what was actually causing the bad luck and who was the "bad guy" was really well done with the first guy they go after actually being an innocent victim. Then I really liked how the team got around the bad luck curse to actually stop everything was so great. And just overall this was a really great episode and I'm excited to see what will happen next.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 1 "And the Dark Secret" Review
A secret sect of the Vatican Church unearths a map detailing the locations of the four cornerstones of the Library of Alexandria; Flynn and the Librarians work with an unexpected ally to stop them before the stones can be used to destroy the Library.
This was a really entertaining and great first episode to introduce the season. And I really enjoy the concept that they're going with by making Flynn and Baird the new versions of Judson and Charlie. Even though I don't think it's going to work out it'll still be an interesting backstory line to see play out. Then bring back Nicole in the story was really great with how they decided to bring her back from the dead and how that affected Flynn was interesting to see how the character development between the two of them worked especially once Flynn told Nicole the truth. I am still very confused where her plans lie whether there for or against the library but I'm really excited to see if and when Nicole will ever make an appearance again because of she now she sort of is the only member that remains from the movies besides Flynn. Then everything around the librarians looking for The Corner Stones and where they were all headed was entertaining to see once everyone found them. These members of the Vatican church going and looking for these cornerstones was also interesting with how all that played out but I do wish that this evil force that was these members would have been introduced a bit earlier than this episode because it seems like a really important set of villains that were just kind of thrown in there. But then overall this was a really entertaining and exciting episode and I'm really excited to see where they're going to take the storyline next.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 10 "And the Wrath of Chaos" Review
The library is simultaneously infiltrated by DOSA and Apep; Flynn, Baird, Stone, Cassandra, Ezekiel and Jenkins must put aside their differences to save the library, the world and themselves.
This was an interesting episode that was fun but a little confusing to follow because it jumped around so much. The main thing that bugged me was all the plot that surrounded wich side Eve was on. Because they kept bouncing her back and forth to the point of annoyance then at the end it reveled the Eve and Flynn had this whole master plan that kind of came out of nowhere, and they had planned out and expected all the stupid moment in this episode to happen. I really liked the main three working on solving the riddles in order to free Jenkins. It was really kind of fun in the moments where Flynn is sneaking around The Library collecting the artifacts he can. I liked how they managed to end this episode with using the Eye of Ray in a little bit of a different way to end up defeating Apep and stop the spread of darkness. I’m very interested to know if this show comes back for a season 4 what are they going to do with DOSA now that the Librarians kind of proved themselves as not being a major threat. And just overall this was a really entertaining final episode and I really hope it comes back again for another season.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 9 "And the Fatal Separation" Review
The balance of the universe is put in jeopardy when the Monkey King's
sacred homeland of Shangri-La is taken over by a ruthless collector of
magical artifacts.
This was a really great episode that was so much fun to watch and did a great job of setting up some events for the finale episode. I really liked the beginning of this episode where Jake is training with the Monkey King to become a better fighter but is still sticking with his no magic ideas. It was a little weird that Jake didn't get affected by the knockout darts quite as fast as everyone else, he instead got enough time to fight some ninjas and make his escape. I did really like that several people in the group knew who this collector Lam was and it made the operation of getting around him a bit easier. It was really interesting the different ideas that all these groups had about The Library where Lam thinks of it as just a collection of items similar to his, DOSA thinks of it as a terrible group with dangerous weapons that needs to be stopped, and the Librarians think of it as a protector of the world from magic. It was really cool to have Charlene back in this episode and have her working with the Librarians as well as really wrapping up her story kind of nicely. It was very interesting that they decided to have Jenkins love be Charlene and she knew it. Then the chamber of memories was really cool with how it showed a bit of personality for each of the Librarians as well as predicting a future that I hope doesn't happen. And it was kind of cool to see Cassandra using her new powerful magic to help her and just learning to control it more. And just overall this was a really interesting and great episode.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 8 "And the Eternal Question" Review
A man's strange death by exploding into flames send Jake, Cassandra, and Ezekiel to a wellness retreat like no other. There they find the key to eternity or at least it seems they do. Meanwhile, Carsen and Baird spend much needed time alone.
This was a really interesting and great episode that had a lot of really great moments to it that were so much fun to watch. I really liked the idea of the vampires and how they chose to show them with having this paradise land that the vampires were able to walk in the sunlight as long as they stay on that land. It was a little unique that the reason that the grown was okay for the vampires was because of the space rocks treating the waters in a magical way. It was kind of fun seeing Jake and Ezekiel freak out and go in full vampire slayer mode once they found out the truth about people running the retreat. It was also really nice that this episode focused a lot of Cassandra and her problems as well as her finding ways to keep fighting. It was a little weird in the final fight scenes how Jake and Ezekiel had all this wooden furniture around them and they didn't care to smash a few and use it as a stake. The ending for Cassandra was really cool with her being able to control her magic a bit more. Then the moments with Eve and Flynn were okay but really not all that necessary. But I do have to say overall this was a great episode that was a joy to watch.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 7 "And the Curse of Cindy" Review
Everyone has a new obsession, and her name is Cindy. The Librarians try to get to the bottom of this new mystery to find out why everyone, except for Ezekiel is obsessed with her. Can she be the real deal or does it have to do with a little help from an old rival?
This was a really fun and entertaining episode that had some really great moments to it and some that are kind of okay. I really liked the idea of the love potion and all they did to explain that. Like how the love potion isn't exactly love it is more of an obsession that takes over the people. I really liked the idea of having Ezekiel know who Cindy is and that helped him not fall under her spell as well as having the moments of trying to figure out how he knows her. Then with that, it was really great with how Ezekiel managed to show Cindy what the difference is between love and obsession and how bad obsession could get if things become too powerful. It was a little weird how they decided to turn the witch that was helping Cindy into Apep instead of just making it be some kind of witch. It was also a little weird how they couldn't figure out what the magical item was when from the very first moment you see Cindy it is pretty obvious. I really liked that Flynn and Jake were affected by the love potion and just all the little moments of Jenkins trying to come up with an antidote to fix them. And I do have to say overall this was a really funny and interesting episode to watch.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 6 "And the Trial of the Triangle" Review
In order to stop the spread of pure evil, the team must find the Eye of Ra and unravel the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle; Flynn must pass a series of tests.
This was a very interesting episode that was a little confusing at some parts but it was still really fun to watch. I did really like that in this episode they brought up a bit about some of the past librarians and a little history around that. Then I also really lie the idea that they went with for the Bermuda Triangle and they went with the thought that it is a wormhole to another dimension. I also liked that his whole episode revolved around teamwork and how Flynn is still struggling to work with the rest of the team. Now by the end of this episode, that problem with teamwork wasn't really all that fixed but it definitely looks like he's willing to work on it. I did really like that the other dimension had an Alice in Wonderland theme for it and when it is explained why it is there just for fun. It was a little weird how the team had this whole plan of what to do once they got on the plane to take care of themselves but for some reason, they didn't think about the other passengers until they were already on the plane. And I could have easily let that go with the thought that they were so wrapped up with planning it was one thing that slipped their mind but for the fact that they made such a big deal of trying to save everyone it seemed like it should have been a bigger deal before they got on the plane. I did like the distraction between Flynn and Eve to try and help the rest of the team get through the security with all their equipment. I find it kind of weird that Flynn doesn't really know Spanish because I felt like that should be easy for him, and they did give some reason but it was still odd. But I do have to say overall this was a really fun and entertaining episode.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 5 "And the Tears of a Clown" Review
The Librarians investigate a mysterious traveling carnival and discover how dangerous their collection of magical artifacts could be.
This was a really fun and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments to it. I really liked in the beginning of this episode how it was Jenkins going around the carnival looking for the librarians. I wish they could have done a bit more with Jenkins because it was really fun watching him run around kind of being a librarian himself. It was a little weird how the thing that woke the librarians up from the spell they were under was just some basic smelling salts. Then the main runner of the carnival his whole evil plan was a little weird because I understood it fine but why was it even really a thing. I was so cool to see Felicia because it was a complete surprise to me. The magical item in this episode was really cool for the fact that it was a brand new magical item so there was no record of what it could be. It was especially fun in the scene where Stone kept telling them what the item could be and later all the rest come to the same conclusion after completely ignoring him the whole time. The magical items abilities was a little weird because, on one hand, it did some basic mind control while it also turned people into clowns and did some other small things. I do have to say overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait to see the next one with what the preview was showing for it.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 4 "And the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy" Review
After seeing a vision of her own death at the hands of a supernatural assassin, Baird attempts to stop the deadly prophecy from coming true.
This was a really great and interesting episode that had some twists to it and was really fun to watch. I really liked the idea at the beginning of this episode where the group wakes up and can't remember anything of what happened to them. The beginning scene where they were at the pizza place seemed a little weird because they could have gone anywhere and they chose to have the first encounter with the reaper be there. I really liked all the planning and explanation around the prophecy glass and cubes that were kind of cool to see that amount of detail in it. It was really weird how they used the prophecy glass however because they seemed to jump from not wanting to use it to using all the time to see what was behind the next door. Then I might have missed it but it really seemed like Cassandra just disappeared when they were at the pool and showed up again back at the Library. And I kind of wish they would have done a bit more with the side characters in this episode instead of them being more or less like shadows to the rest of the group. I did really like that they brought up the fact that one of the side characters used the word prophecy glass before ever being told what that was, and leaving that as little clues to the truth. I did really love all the greek mythology throughout this episode connecting everything together. All the moments with Jenkins in this episode were really great to watch and see how his age or immortality fit into solving or creating problems in this episode. The hourglass was also really cool to watch Baird use it to help her in making life or death decisions because she can't die until the hourglass runs all the sand. And just overall this was a really great and interesting episode that was really a lot of fun to watch.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 3 "And the Reunion of Evil" Review
A routine artifact retrieval becomes complicated when the artifact grafts itself to Cassandra; a blizzard forces Stone and Cassandra to take shelter at a mysterious hotel.
This was such a fun and great episode that had a lot of really great moments to it that were so funny. I really liked the beginning with Stone and Cassandra out in the winter storm trying to get the stone before the weather got worse. I like the idea of Cassandra using magic but I also understand why Stone is hesitant so letting her use it, which is why I really liked the needing of this episode where he explains why he doesn't like the idea of using magic. The frost giants were pretty cool especially in the moments where Stone didn't know what they were, but with that it did get a little tiresome and repetitive. The moment where they are all tied up and Stone is distracting the giants while Cassandra tries to escape was very cool with how he did the distraction. And I really loved the moment where Stone had to try and prove that he is a frost giant by convincing one of them that they are friends. I also really liked Ezekiel having to take care of Nessie's egg and just watching him grow to love this egg more and more as the episode goes on. Then the ending chunk where Stone and Cassandra are trying to escape back into the library was very funny with them never making it on time. And just overall this was a very funny and great episode to watch.
