The Librarians Season 4 Episode 12 "And the Echoes of Memory" Review
After the world is morphed into a horrible and unrecognizable place - one where the Library never existed - it’s up to Baird to bring the Librarians together before this bleak, knowledge-less world becomes the new reality.
This was a really good episode and it was fun to watch but it didn’t make the greatest of season finales and the ending just left me really angry. It was interesting to see how they decided to perceive a world where the Library never existed and they made everything really dull and boring because of it. I really liked the storyline around Baird having to go and find all the Librarians and try and prove to them that the memories they all have about the Library are true and they need to work together to bring it back. Everything with Flynn was interesting with it coming out that Flynn didn’t actually leave the Library he was kidnapped by Nicole and kept hidden away all this time. The thing that really annoyed me is how this episode ended with everything being fixed and going back to the first episode before the problems involving the cornerstones. So basically setting it up so that nothing in this season mattered or even happened which makes me really angry because there were so many good moments and great character growth that now didn’t happen and I don’t understand why they had to do that. But still, overall this was a really nice ending that had some great moments to it and I’m sad this series didn’t get picked up for another season.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 11 "And the Trial of the One" Review
As tensions between the Librarians escalate over which of them is the most deserving to participate in the tethering ceremony with Baird, the Library steps in and turns each of the Librarians into their most primal selves, and are sent to survive a terrifying alternate reality to determine who is the most worthy.
This was a really great and entertaining episode that in my opinion with a few changes it could have made a great season finale. I really liked the idea of this group of trials that are created to pick the best Librarian, but I wished they would have been explained a bit more because some parts kind of seemed really weird. Like the fact that it was explained at the beginning of the trials that it is just about the Librarians and Baird can't get involved but all she ended up doing was getting involved. Then the beginning part of the trials was great with each of the Librarians forced to live through there greatest fears with Casandra's being forced to relive a time she was bullied, Jakup's was his fear of magic playing out, and Ezekiel's was finally being caught and sent to prison. Mixed in with these fears they had the other Librarians playing a role in there torture so they learned to hate each other which was a really clever idea to get them willing to fight each other to the death. Then Baird part in all this was weird like I said where at first it seemed like she was separated off to watch everything that was happening to the Librarians but then there was a turn where it turned out she was a part of the trial as well. The ending was interesting with the Librarians refusing to fight each other which cost Jenkins his life and I was really surprised they were willing to take things that far as to kill him off. Then the ending of the whole episode was interesting with the return of Nicole and her using her knowledge to destroy the Libray and turn the world into an alternate reality where the Library never existed. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode that had some great moments to it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 10 "And Some Dude Named Jeff" Review
When Jenkins body-switches with a 28-year-old slacker named Jeff, he must find his way back into the Library to correct the mistake. But he will need a team to do it, and enlists the help of Jeff's hapless Dungeons and Dragons friends. Can they make it in time, before Jeff destroys the Library?
This was a really interesting and great episode that had so many fun and funny moments do it. I really enjoyed that this episode did focus on Jenkins and him somewhat of discovering what it's like to be mortal. Everything around that was really fun with him unwillingly taking over the life of Jeff and having to deal with the mundane parts of life. Each of Jeff's friends was really fun with how they played into the grander scheme of getting back into the library. With that, the whole backdoor Quest that they all had to go through to get Jenkins back in the library and back into his own body was really fun with all the different dynamics of it. Then everything around the Jeff inside of Jenkins body was interesting with how the librarians slowly managed to figure out that it's not actually Jenkins. I do wish they would have spent a bit more time on the librarians and Jeff but still, it was fun to see everything around that. Then everything around them saving the library from this monster that Jeff brought in and eventually switching the bodies back between Jeff and Jenkins was interesting but again I wish they would have spent a bit more time on the ending it just felt like a really rushed ending. And then just overall this was a really fun and great episode to watch.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 9 "And a Town Called Feud" Review
When a Civil War reenactment in a town called Feud is plagued by ghosts, the Librarians have to uncover the truth of what really happened there over 100 years ago.
This was a really entertaining and fun episode that had some really great moments to it. I did really like the whole mystery around what was the artifact and the idea around people changing history to fit a narrative. And that was so great to see the Librarians slowly figure out that everything they were being told about the town and the Feud brothers was not actually true and that the lady in charge of the museum made it up to attract more people to the town. And it was interesting how each of the ghosts that the Librarian saw played into them figuring out what was going on with them either seeing the Feud brothers or their other family members. Then I really love the ending with the two brothers taking over the bodies of Jacob and Ezekiel and reenacting the last battle with several of the other members of the Town also being possessed. And through that reenactment, it's finally showed everyone what actually happened on the battlefield and that was just really great to sort of also get rid of the tension growing between Ezekiel and Jakob on who should be the Librarian. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and great episode that had a lot of really great moments to it in a really nice storyline.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 8 "And the Hidden Sanctuary" Review
After Cassandra freezes up during a mission, she decides it's past time to go on a vacation. Searching for her ideal town, she lands on Havenport, the "Safest Town in America." At first blush, it seems just what she needed, but is there always a price to pay for unrealistic peace of mind?
This was a really great and entertaining episode that was probably my favorite episode of the season. I really loved that this whole episode revolved just around Cassandra and she had to figure out how to solve that problem all on her own. It was also really interesting how very few people in the town seemed to notice the odd luck of the town except for Cassandra and the friend she made in the town. It was fun to see town quickly the town went crazy once bad things did start happening. Then I really liked seeing Cassandra as an actual librarian in the town and the passion she had for the job and how she just connected with the one kid because of it. The scene where the whole town is holding a meeting and Cassandra brings up the question of what has changed recently to cause the bad luck was great because the one major thing that changed was her showing up. Then I wished they would have set up the fairy a bit more because the opening scene in the episode felt really kind of random and then they took forever to introduce the fairy as the bad guy but by then things were at apocalypse levels. It was interesting how the town managed to work together to trap the fairy and find a way to help it so it would stop harming them. Then just overall this was a really great and fun episode that I really loved.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 7 "And the Disenchanted Forest" Review
When dissension threatens the group, Baird takes the Librarians to a charismatic self-help guru's team building camp on the edge of a forest where people have been mysteriously disappearing. Is there a monster in the woods? Or is something more sinister going on? And can the Librarians get their team mojo back in time to defeat it?
This was a really entertaining and great episode that was so much fun to watch all the twists and turns leading to the discovery of what is actually going on at the camp. I really liked the small bit of camp competition between The Librarians and DOSA and them fighting against each other but when things start getting really freaky they find a way to work together. The moments with Cassandra were fun with her doing all the different things that are usually apart of camp movies and Ezekiel having to deal with a brunt of her tricks. Then the moments with Stone were interesting with him finding a girl that really interests him and discovering the truth about her and her small ties back to the Library. Then the whole camp counselor was interesting with how they decided to have him operate where he knows that people are disappearing but he doesn't know how and he is trying his best not to look into it. Then the truth about the forest they were in was interesting with it being the first forest but the whole DOSA side of things felt a little weird because they seemed to change their minds really quickly from wanting to destroy the forest to wanting to set up all these protections actions to keep the forest stable and intact. And just overall this was a really fun and interesting episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 6 "And the Graves of Time" Review
When Baird goes after Nicole Noone in an attempt to repair her rift with the Library, she ends up joining Nicole in a mission to retrieve a dangerous artifact before it falls into the hands of Russian grave robbers. But can she convince Nicole to forgive the Library and return home with her? Or, will Nicole open Baird's eyes to the dangers of a Guardian dedicating herself, heart and soul, to the Library?
This was a really interesting episode that had a lot of great moments to it and it was fun to watch how the whole story unfolded. I really liked that for the most part, this episode focused on Nicole and Baird, and them working together and forming a relationship. It was interesting to see the moments where Nicole showed Baird what a life of immortality will look like and how hard that can weigh on a person after a while. Then it was fun to see the connection between the artifact they were hunting and how it tied back to Rasputin and Nicole's past together. Then the moments where the team got split off into the different group again was great with Flynn and Nicole being partnered up together and Baird and Jenkins being together and that sort of help to show Baird Nicole's other side. Then when the full truth came out of who these Russian grave robbers are it was fun to see how the team managed to escape and what all they did to keep everyone together. I really don't know how I feel about Nicole still I don't think she is in favor for the Library and the whole conversation she had with Flynn that caused him to leave was really suspicious of if she just wants to leave or if she wants to destroy the Library. Overall this was a really great and fun episode that had a lot of entertaining moments to it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 5 "And the Bleeding Crown" Review
A Librarian from the past teams up with the Librarians of the present to take down an ancient and powerful enemy let loose in the modern day. When superfan Flynn is met with the prospect of teaming with his Librarian hero Darrington Dare, he could not be more excited, until Darrington leaves the Librarians with this dire warning: There can be only one Librarian - ignore at your own peril.
This was a really fun and interesting episode that had a lot of really great moments to it and it feels really kind of weird that this seems like the first major episode for the underlining plot of the season and it took this long for them to get to it. I really loved the introduction of a past Librarian in Darrington Dare and just getting to see the contrast and similarities between how he and the other Librarians operated. Then the whole episode revolving around Darrington and his mortal enemy that can time travel and create really bad clones of himself is a little weird of a plot line but it still was fun. And the side effects of turning the town's residents old was an interesting addition but it felt weird and kind of pointless in the grander scheme of things. Then Darrington bringing up how prophecy has stated that there can only be one Librarian is an interesting understory for the season and I'm very curious to see where that will take the characters. Then the whole decision Flynn had to make between being there for his friends or his hero was interesting to watch him jump back and forth before actually making a real plan. Then just overall this was a really interesting and okay episode that had some parts that I liked and some parts that I really didn't care for much.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 4 "And the Silver Screen" Review
Drawn into the world of Baird's favorite film noir movie, the Librarians must perfect their skills in lassoing, sharpshooting, and snappy dialogue to make it out alive.
This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that wasn't the greatest episode out there. I really loved the concept of this episode with Baird and Flynn are stuck in a film that they have to go through the movie to complete required tasks. But even with this great concept, I feel they didn't deliver on the storyline like they could have. It was fun to watch Baird lead Flynn through the film because she has it completely memorized and they had to find other storylines within the film to find the true storyline that has been kept secret from the public. Then it was fun to watch the rest of the librarians try and help Baird and Flynn as well as get to them by going through a bunch of other movies, which is another concept that they should have done more with. Then the ending was really confusing and random with how they tried to connect the real world to the real storyline within the movie there stuck in. Overall this was a really entertaining and okay episode to watch but I wish they could have done more with it.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 3 "And the Christmas Thief" Review
Santa takes Flynn, Baird, and Jenkins on his first vacation in centuries; the Librarians use Santa's sleigh to save Ezekiel's career-criminal mother, as well as Christmas itself, from Santa's grinch of a brother, the Patron Saint of Thieves.
This was a really entertaining and fun episode to watch and see how everything played out and get to know a bit more about Ezekiel. With that, it was really fun to meet Ezekiel's family and get to see the environment that he grew up in and I really liked how we watching always knew him as this master thief but to his family, he is a failure because he never brought any of his success home. I really loved when they had to break into the house of thieves and Ezekiel had to keep reminding his mother to not say his name because he is very well known there for his past work. And just seeing Ezekiel gain favor from his mother once the truth came out was fun. And just overall this was a really fun and entertaining episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 2 "And the Steal of Fortune" Review
When people begin getting hurt in the unluckiest of ways, the Librarians follow the trail to a casino where the owner appears to possess an artifact capable of stealing people's luck.
This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really fun moments to it and did a nice job giving each Librarian there moment to shine. I really like the beginning of the episode where the Librarians are starting to realize the consequences that come with being the Librarian and having to keep it a secret. The parallels between there reaction and those of Flynn back in the movies was really great. Then Flynn taking on the more Judson roll was really fun with him popping up in mirror and stuff to give advice. Then I liked the connection between the Librarians and the case in this episode where Jake's friend is one of the people who got hurt by the bad luck. Then I liked the difference between Cassandra and Ezekial were once in the casino Cassandra was really lucky and winning everything and Ezekiel is freaking out because he isn't winning. The truth of what was actually causing the bad luck and who was the "bad guy" was really well done with the first guy they go after actually being an innocent victim. Then I really liked how the team got around the bad luck curse to actually stop everything was so great. And just overall this was a really great episode and I'm excited to see what will happen next.

The Librarians Season 4 Episode 1 "And the Dark Secret" Review
A secret sect of the Vatican Church unearths a map detailing the locations of the four cornerstones of the Library of Alexandria; Flynn and the Librarians work with an unexpected ally to stop them before the stones can be used to destroy the Library.
This was a really entertaining and great first episode to introduce the season. And I really enjoy the concept that they're going with by making Flynn and Baird the new versions of Judson and Charlie. Even though I don't think it's going to work out it'll still be an interesting backstory line to see play out. Then bring back Nicole in the story was really great with how they decided to bring her back from the dead and how that affected Flynn was interesting to see how the character development between the two of them worked especially once Flynn told Nicole the truth. I am still very confused where her plans lie whether there for or against the library but I'm really excited to see if and when Nicole will ever make an appearance again because of she now she sort of is the only member that remains from the movies besides Flynn. Then everything around the librarians looking for The Corner Stones and where they were all headed was entertaining to see once everyone found them. These members of the Vatican church going and looking for these cornerstones was also interesting with how all that played out but I do wish that this evil force that was these members would have been introduced a bit earlier than this episode because it seems like a really important set of villains that were just kind of thrown in there. But then overall this was a really entertaining and exciting episode and I'm really excited to see where they're going to take the storyline next.

Will Season 1 Episode 7 "What Dreams May Come"
The theatre is jeopardized so Will enlists help from a beautiful and talented friend.
This was a really great and interesting episode that was so entertaining to watch and see how everything played out. And I really enjoyed that a big chunk of this episode was all about Will's creation of A Midsummer Night's Dream and all the different problems that came with it. And the story around the Presto in this episode was actually slightly more interesting to see him and making this connection between him and Will, by having them both have some sort of seeking for revenge and them working together on creating that. And the actual performance and everything around trying to gain this money to save the theater was really great and fun especially when Richard was confronted by the woman they're supposed to be wooing and he actually turned her down which was a complete change of character that I really enjoyed seeing that development in him. Then the moments with Marlowe in this episode we're actually really interesting and fun with everyone finally settling on the conclusion for him that one of his main problems is that he has no beliefs and no faith in anything so that's what's really preventing him from creating and believing and just all of what came out of that was really interesting and I'm very interested in seeing what they might do with this play that he's created about the devil and what problems that may come because the devil isn't supposed to be a character that is shown so I'm excited to see that. And overall this episode was so entertaining and so fun to watch and had a lot of really great moments to it.

Will Season 1 Episode 6 "Something Wicked This Way Comes" Review
Tensions rise as Will and Alice continue to collaborate, while Anne attempts to adjust to London life. Love forces Marlowe to confront his darkest fears. Presto is forced to confront true evil.
This was a really interesting episode that did feel kind of long and a bit boring but it did have some really great moments in it that were interesting to see. I was kind of cool to see Alice and Will trying to move on for one an other and find their own lives. With that, I liked the moments with Alice trying to be happy with her potential husband but that fiance knows the truth about her feelings. Then the scene where Will had to confront Alice to try and get her to stay away from him and he called her so many bad things because Alice's mother told him to was so sad and great. Then all the moments with Anne and the family trying to adjust to London had some really great moments and some really sad moments. How this episode ended for Anne and the family was really sad but also kind of nice because Anne told Will that she is proud of him and that he is a great writer which I think is something he needed to hear from her. Then with Marlowe, it was interesting to see this other side of him in this episode as he watched his love slip away from him. And Presto actually had a kind of interesting story around him even though I still feel it is really unnecessary for the bigger story plot going on. And just overall this was a really entertaining episode with some great moments but it wasn't super interesting.

Will Season 1 Episode 5 "The Marriage of True Minds " Review
An unexpected arrival sends Will's world spinning; a transcendental experience leads Marlowe to deal with his past; Topcliffe deciphers a code that throws Will into a life-and-death situation.
This was a really great episode that took the story in a bit of a different turn and really was its own story but still, it was interesting to watch everything play out. And finally fully meeting both Will's family and Topcliffe's family was interesting to see how both these families interacted with their lives since I've changed so much since they last saw them. All the moments with Will adjusting to having his family there was interesting with him wanting to enjoy his time with them but also kind of wanting them to leaves when he can go back to the life he's grown in London. And it was interesting to see how Alice reacted to and being around Ann, and how Ann somehow knew that Will and Alice were seeing each other so all that chaos going on with very interesting to see how it all played out. And then just watching Will want this life in London where he is successful and stuff but also not wanting to leave his family that he's grown behind in order to get fame, so he's trying to live both those worlds at once was just so interesting to watch. Then with Topcliffe's kids and them actually seeing what he does for a day was interesting to see how they reacted to it and what they really thought about it. Then the one beggar boy that I still can't remember the name of showed up again this episode and he just still is as annoying as ever I don't understand why he's there and they tried to make some kind of connection between him and Will in this episode but it didn't happen so it was just really kind of annoying it pointless to have him included in this episode again. Then the scenes with Marlowe we're very interesting with him still going through all these different tasks to try and find some sort inspiration or something because his mind is just gone blank so all the really really dark stuff that he got in to doing in this episode was kind of cool to see how what kind of lengths he went to. And with how this episode ended I'm so curious to see how Will's going to continue on going between this line of being with his family and growing as a successful writer. Just overall this was a really interesting episode that wasn't the greatest and really wasn't all that important of an episode but it was still really fascinating to see how everything played out.

Will Season 1 Episode 4 "Brave New World" Review
Marlowe introduces Will to the decadent elite of London, but things take a macabre turn; Alice becomes disillusioned; Will must fight for all he holds dear.
This was a really entertaining and great episode that had some really fun moments to it and I'm so curious to see how the story will progress. Again I really enjoyed all the hints towards some of the plays Will writes in the future like in this episode there were hints towards Romeo and Juliet as well as Hamlet, and the start of him writing his great Henry V play. All the back and forth between Alice and Will was a little annoying but understandable with Alice suppose to be getting married off. It was interesting to see a bit of the fame that Will has gained going to his head and seeing the struggle show up of can he keep his theater friends as he continues to grow in popularity. Then the party scene and Will going to this back meeting with Marlowe were great to see dealing with things similar to in Hamlet and seeing a ghost from his past that have to deal with him straying from his faith. It was also interesting to again see Marlowe struggling to find ideas and him going through a lot of different measures to find some sort of guidance. The ending was so amazing with Topcliffe showing up and asking Will to an anti-catholic play to give to the public. Just ending this episode on Will in a panic for trying to decide what to do was so great. and just overall this was a really amazing and fun episode to watch.

Will Season 1 Episode 3 "The Two Gentlemen" Review
Will has an epiphany that could bring him success, yet he needs Alice's help. Meanwhile, a magnetic fugitive from Will's past comes forth with a dangerous obligation.
This was a really great and fun episode that was so interesting to watch everything play out. I really liked watching Will struggle with having a script that no one thought was good and was willing to work with. I did really like the scenes with Will and Alice working on the script and making it better to where The Theater is actually willing to put on the show. I also liked the moment where Alice's father told Will to stay away from Alice because he is a married man and she is a single woman looking for a husband but in the end that didn't really work out. The reunion between Will and his cousin was great to see his cousin finally playing a much more significant roll in an episode. The ending where Will is given all these Catholic documents by his cousin to give to the queen pleading for religious freedom is an interesting storyline that I can't wait to see how all that will play out and if Will will actually follow through with those planes and live up to the Catholic side of his life. The scenes with Marlowe were great with him struggling to write a new play and kinds of trying to find any kind of inspiration and just kind of showing that even the best have bad moments. And then the scene where Marlowe actually goes against his work as a spy for the queen and instead actually saves some Catholics from being captured including Will's cousin was really great. Then the moments with Richard were interesting to finally see this character as more than just a bad actor by giving him some personality and giving him some scenes that are just for him and don't involve Will were really kind of nice to see. And just overall this was a really great and entertaining episode and I can't wait to see what they will do next.
Will Season 1 Episode 2 "Cowards Die Many Times" Review
Wracked with guilt over Baxter's arrest, Will confesses to the rebellious Alice. The theatre is threatened when a rival tries to lure the crowd-pleasing actor, Kemp, away.
This was a really interesting episode that didn't have a bunch to it but it still did a great job of expanding on the story more. It was very fun and interesting how they had all these Romeo and Juliet references throughout this episode with some of the things Will would say at certain moments. The moments of Baxter getting tortured were interesting to see especially with how it all ended with the churches saying that Baxter died of shame rather than that they tortured him to death. All the interactions between Will and Marlowe were really interesting to see how those two creative minds are similar and different. And I did like the moments with Will going around trying to find a way to keep all the actors around and gave them a speech of what he could do for them as their writer. But with that overall there wasn't much to this episode it had some fun and great moments but it was a pretty boring episode.
Will Season 1 Episode 1 "The Play's the Thing" Review
During a time of religious turmoil in England, Will Shakespeare arrives in London from the small town of Stratford with little more than a dream and a treasonous letter.
This was a really great first episode that actually really made me surprised with what they chose to do with the story of Will Shakespeare. Because I thought this series was going to be very fanciful kind of like Shakespeare In Love, but it is not it is rather written very much in truth with some fictional elements added in to fill in the gaps. I really liked how they decided to show London as this overcrowded city full of tons of people that you really can't trust. Then I also really love that they didn't just start off showing Will as this major success of a writer from his first play but rather over this whole series they will have him crafting his writing style to the perfection level we know him for. The introduction of each of the sort of main players in Will's life was great because all of them so far have been done really well. Then I loved all the moments with Will having to deal with the actors and kind of learning that they don't always have the same skill levels and willingness to follow the script. Then all the moments with the Catholic hunting was very interesting but also possibly accurate because fully knows what happened to a Catholic once they were taken away by the Queen's church all they know is that is that some of the people took the interrogation a bit too far. So showing all that graphic material was necessary I feel to show everything accurately and show what Will might have to put up with is he is ever outed as a Catholic. And the ending where Will is spared from being outed as a Catholic by another play writer was an interesting way to end the episode because this other writer saw greatness in Will. And just overall this was a really great first episode and I'm curious to see where they might go from here.

The Librarians Season 3 Episode 10 "And the Wrath of Chaos" Review
The library is simultaneously infiltrated by DOSA and Apep; Flynn, Baird, Stone, Cassandra, Ezekiel and Jenkins must put aside their differences to save the library, the world and themselves.
This was an interesting episode that was fun but a little confusing to follow because it jumped around so much. The main thing that bugged me was all the plot that surrounded wich side Eve was on. Because they kept bouncing her back and forth to the point of annoyance then at the end it reveled the Eve and Flynn had this whole master plan that kind of came out of nowhere, and they had planned out and expected all the stupid moment in this episode to happen. I really liked the main three working on solving the riddles in order to free Jenkins. It was really kind of fun in the moments where Flynn is sneaking around The Library collecting the artifacts he can. I liked how they managed to end this episode with using the Eye of Ray in a little bit of a different way to end up defeating Apep and stop the spread of darkness. I’m very interested to know if this show comes back for a season 4 what are they going to do with DOSA now that the Librarians kind of proved themselves as not being a major threat. And just overall this was a really entertaining final episode and I really hope it comes back again for another season.
