Will Season 1 Episode 4 "Brave New World" Review

Marlowe introduces Will to the decadent elite of London, but things take a macabre turn; Alice becomes disillusioned; Will must fight for all he holds dear.

This was a really entertaining and great episode that had some really fun moments to it and I'm so curious to see how the story will progress. Again I really enjoyed all the hints towards some of the plays Will writes in the future like in this episode there were hints towards Romeo and Juliet as well as Hamlet, and the start of him writing his great Henry V play. All the back and forth between Alice and Will was a little annoying but understandable with Alice suppose to be getting married off. It was interesting to see a bit of the fame that Will has gained going to his head and seeing the struggle show up of can he keep his theater friends as he continues to grow in popularity. Then the party scene and Will going to this back meeting with Marlowe were great to see dealing with things similar to in Hamlet and seeing a ghost from his past that have to deal with him straying from his faith. It was also interesting to again see Marlowe struggling to find ideas and him going through a lot of different measures to find some sort of guidance. The ending was so amazing with Topcliffe showing up and asking Will to an anti-catholic play to give to the public. Just ending this episode on Will in a panic for trying to decide what to do was so great. and just overall this was a really amazing and fun episode to watch.
