Elseworlds Review

Destiny is rewritten and Oliver becomes Barry Allen and he is now the fastest man alive and Barry Allen becomes Oliver and he is now the vigilante of Star city also called The Green Arrow.
This was a really entertaining and great episodes that did a good job of setting up for future crossover episodes as well as having a very fun and entertaining it story in itself. A lot of my complaints with the series of crossover episodes are weird because they're the exact opposite of my complaints about the Crisis on Earth X crossover because in Crisis on Earth X it had a problem that it was so slow and trying to fit everything into four episodes just it felt like they run out of storylines causing was so much filler. Whereas for Elseworlds crossover it felt so rushed and like it was really hard to keep up with everything that was going on with all their plans and stuff.
That being said everything with Barry and Oliver was really fun with them having to live each other's lives and have each other's powers and had to figure out how to make everything work was fun especially with Barry trying to be the weapon that Oliver has built himself to be and then Oliver trying to use Barry's Flash's power was so funny. Then giving Superman a bigger role and have him play a part in this series of crossover episodes was fun to see how he's been doing and what his plans are for the future with Lois and then him leaving Supergirl behind to defend Earth herself. The introduction of Batwoman was also really great where she is not a huge fan of Oliver and sort of giving off the presence of her wanting to protect our city and not really wanting Oliver and Barry they're causing distractions. With that I'm not a huge fan of Batwoman and I never really have been but I feel like Ruby did a really good job of portraying Batwoman and I'm very interested to see where that storyline might go in the future even though I might not watch her series.
Then everything with The Monitor and him having this idea of setting up the potential of the Crisis of the Multiverse and him trying to find the true heroes and the true Earth that will reign dominant was an interesting thing. And how everyone work together to defeat him was great where they had this idea of The Flash and Supergirl having to run and fly in opposite directions to slow down the Earth's rotation so that they could defeat him before he had the potential to change the story again wasn't an interesting tactic even though Oliver had to step in and change things to be able to save Barry and Kara's lives.
Which that leads to my idea that there is substantial chance that Oliver is going to die in the next crossover because he had to make some sort of deal with The Monitor in order to save Supergirl and The Flash and I feel like Oliver willingly gave up his own life to do so, but that's all saved for the Crisis of the Multiverse. I'm so excited to see what they're going to do for the Crisis of the Multiverse event because it is such a big storyline and I'm curious to see what they're going to do with it once everything ends because in the comic the ending led to several heroes deaths so I'm curious to see who might be killed off or if they're going to kill anyone off. Because in the comics  Supergirl died, so would they replace her with Oliver or potentially Superman which I think would be cool to see. And then the potential for Superboy to come in to fill his father's spot. Then also several other characters that have sort of become mainstays also died in the comics like with Lena Luthor so I'm curious to know if they'll kill her off and have her brother Lex become the new main bad or if they're going to trade places there and have Lex die instead. But anyways I'm so excited to see what they're going to do with the Crisis of the Multiverse crossover and overall this was a really fun series of episodes and I'm so excited to see what they're going to do next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 8 "Bunker Hill" Review

Nia has a powerful dream about Agent Liberty but refuses to look at it as a prophetic dream and pushes it aside. After noticing something is bothering Nia, Kara enlists Brainy's help, and the two try to persuade Nia to embrace her destiny. Meanwhile, Manchester Black pays Ben Lockwood a menacing visit.

This was a really great episode that was so well done in its storyline and had a lot of great moments to it. Everything with Brainy and Nia was great with Brainy helping to guide Nia though her dreams to figure out what everything means and where the attack is taking place and just really helping Nia to control things more rather than just living through her dreams. Then all the scenes with the three of them going to this small town to hunt down Ben Lockwood was great with them seeing more of the reach of the Children of Liberty and having to avoid getting into to much trouble. Manchester Black's confrontation with Lockwood was great with Lockwood's wife learning what Ben has been up to. And just seeing all the conversations and fighting between Manchester and Lockwood was really great. Then the final moments with Ben being arrested for his actions and seeing the public outcry for his arrest was interesting to see. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was so great to watch.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 7 "Rather the Fallen Angel" Review

James falls in deeper with the Children of Liberty in his efforts to meet Agent Liberty. Meanwhile, Supergirl and Manchester Black follow a lead on Agent Liberty's location, but things take a dark turn. Lena kicks off her first set of trials.

This was a really good and interesting episode that had some very entertaining moments to it. Everything with Kara in this episode was interesting with Manchester Black going against Supergirl's back to try and get closer to Agent Liberty faster. Then the whole scene with her being locked inside the monument was interesting with what all she did to alert James of her presence. Then James continuing to befriend the Children of Liberty and having to go through this big action to prove his loyalty and save his friends was all really well done. Especially in his actions when he finally decided to turn away from the Children of Liberty and fight against them in a way that saved both of his friends. Then everything with Lena was so well done with her going through these first human trails of her new serum. How she chose to approach the situation at first was very interesting with Lena choosing to only call the patient by his code number but then growing to become more familiar and friendly with the patient and suffering a bit when he eventually dies from the serum. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 6 "Call to Action" Review

As everyone gathers for Thanksgiving, Kara is feeling down after her televised debate with Ben Lockwood; James and Lena argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty.

This was a really interesting episode that had some entertaining moments to it but it also did feel a little long at some points. It was really interesting and kind of cool to see Supergirl and Manchester Black working together to take out Children of Liberty members. Then everything with James working to continue to grow a relationship with the Children of Liberty in order to find the identity of Agent Liberty. The conversation between Lena and James was really interesting where Lena brings up the idea of changing peoples DNA in order to put them on an equal playing field as aliens. James's ideas around that were great where he brings up that is a nice idea but it is hard to regulate and makes some people to powerful. Then the whole attack on aliens on Thanksgiving night was interesting with how everything laid out with this secret invisible marks that the Children of Liberty's masks can see the marks on alien's houses. And it was really fun to see the one house that was attacked had some guard dragons that Supergirl had to deal with alongside the Children of Liberty. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was kind of fun to watch.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 5 "Parasite Lost" Review

Colonel Haley makes a surprising decision about Supergirl; Kara writes a series of articles about aliens in National City that end up putting them in harm's way.
This was a really great episode that had two very good storylines to it. Everything with Kara and her doing these interviews for the paper was interesting with how she chose to do it and just the alien she chose to interview was really interesting. And it interesting with what they chose to do with that storyline where Kara saw him as a truly good man that could do no wrong and the more she looked into him she discovered some possible darker sides to him and just how she chose to approach that and deal with that was interesting to see. Then just the whole storyline around this guy and him being a healing alien and having a secret daughter that he was unable to ever see and how everyone dealt with that was interesting. Then everything with Jensen in this episode was okay with him having the parasite inside him and needing to feed off of aliens powers to be able to keep himself stable. How they chose to show everything around that was okay with how Alex chose to deal with trying to save Johnson and just how much of a menace Jensen could become because of the fact of his fear. Then the moments with Alex and the new Colonel Haley were great where Alex was afraid that Haley was going to be very aggressive and mean but through most of the episode she was really nice and then once Alex chose to defy Haley's decisions that are when you really got to see this other side to the colonel. Everything with James in this episode was great with him navigating how to deal with his new spotlight in these anti-alien groups and just how that was all shown and stuff was really great but I wish they would have shown more of his fighting during the ending scenes when Jensen is causing a lot of chaos. Then just overall this was a really great episode that had a lot of very interesting and entertaining moments to it and I'm very curious to see what they're going to do next.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 4 "Ahimsa" Review

Alex asks Lena and Brainiac to team up and help Supergirl; J'onn discovers new ways to help his fellow aliens after running into Manchester Black.
This was a really interesting episode that was a little confusing in its plot but it was still a really cool episode for all of what happened. Everything with Alex in this episode was interesting with her being under a lot of because of the kryptonite being in the atmosphere because of the device was stolen from the DEO. One part that bugged me was with Supergirl and how she refused to listen to Alex even after Alex explained some of the situations to Kara and yet after all that Kara didn’t listen and almost destroyed the suite and got herself killed. But it was also weird how Alex didn’t explain everything when telling Supergirl to stand down she could have said things like the “president and all these other people are telling me to tell you to relax and if you don’t I’ll get in trouble,” that would have made more sense in my mind. Instead, Alex goes and tells Supergirl to relax because she feels it is the best action, that is just less impactful and made it easy for Kara to not listen, and that kind of bugged me. It was interesting to see how Kara chose to fight in the suite because she really couldn’t use her powers besides flight and strength. Then everything with J'onn and Manchester was great with them working together to find there friend and how that all worked out was interesting and I’m really curious to see what Manchester will do next to get what he wants. Then the moments with Lena and Brainiac was fun with them working to get the kryptonite out of the atmosphere and seeing how each of them handles things was interesting. The other major part that bugged me was the Children of Liberty’s plan to make people more afraid. Where there plan involved creating alien attacks, in my mind how does that make sense because alien attacks happen a lot so why would these certain attacks make any difference for people. It was interesting to see what happened when James chose to step up and be Guardian again where he didn’t get in trouble for it but he was also praised by the anti-alien groups. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 3 "Man of Steel" Review

The story of how Ben Lockwood became Agent Liberty is told.

This was a really great episode that was so interesting and fun to watch and I really loved how they just only focused on the villain and how he got there. I really enjoyed seeing Ben's whole story where at first he wanted to work alongside aliens but after so many times of aliens ruining his life and not being held accountable for it he finally snapped and that was just amazing to see those gradual shifts as time went on. It was especially great to see that one major turning point for him which was when the Daxomites attacked and during the fight, Ben's family house got burned down and they lost everything, it was just great to see that shift in his attitude from that point on. Then seeing his gradual growth in followers around his anti-alien agenda was really interesting especially with how the Graves fit into that. Everything with Lena was also really interesting where she cut off the Lockwood family from her work going with a different steel company instead and that being a defining decision that causes the family to begin to spiral. Then Ben and Lena's whole conversation at the funeral was just a great moment to show how much Ben had changed. Then just overall this was a really interesting and entertaining episode and I'm very curious to see what they're going to do next now that Supergirl is stuck in that suit.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 2 "Fallout" Review

When a shocking revelation brings chaos to National City, Supergirl sets out to capture Mercy Graves.

This was a really interesting and great episode that had a lot of really good moments to it. I really enjoyed the moments of somewhat of organized chaos where everyone is freaking out about who might be an alien or not. Then everything around Mercy's plan for this episode was interesting with her attacking the alien's image inducers to reveal more aliens to the public. And I really enjoyed the scenes with Kara being stuck in L Corp when Mercy attacks and not being able to escape Lena long enough to change into Supergirl, it was just really funny and made some really great moments of her hiding her powers from Lena. Then Mercy's escape from the DEO with her bother was so interesting because the managed to use their words to influence and create mistrust in a DEO agent Jensen. Then everything with Brainiac-5 was really interesting with him being one of the people who was affected by the image inducer hack and having to face the prejudice face on and seeing how people are more then what you know them as. I'm very curious in that scene where Nia arrived to help out Brainiac-5 was them showing Nia's powers of foresight for the first time or if they are showing it as her fighting against injustice different then the injustice and prejudice she has face her whole life or both. Then the moments with Nia and James was interesting with James being hesitant on whether or not to share his opinion on alien rights and make CatCo pick a side in the fight. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I'm really excited to see what will happen next with the atmosphere being irritated with Kryptonite and affecting Kara.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 1 "American Alien" Review

Supergirl is called into action when remnants of Cadmus attempt to assassinate pro-alien leaders, but their endgame turns out to be more sinister than she thinks.

This was a really great first episode that did a great job of cleaning up what happened last season as well as building up what will happen this season.

I really loved how so far this season there seems to be multiple main villains for the season because that was one thing that bugged me last season is how they so heavily focused on Reign right out of the gate by the end of the season they seemed to be running out of things to do involving Reign so it was becoming tiresome to watch her. But this season having multiple villains is a great idea because there is this group doing hate crimes on aliens to fill in for part of the season and make things seem more down to earth and local but then later they can bring in the evil Supergirl to fill in for other parts of the season and that is good to keep things fresh in my opinion.

I also loved the balance in this episode between the DEO and CatCo because last season they kind of forgot about CatCo so having a good balance is nice to navigate Kara’s life. The introduction of Nia was so great and I loved how they were willing to joke about how Nia is like season one Kara and current Kara is like Cat.

Then the relationship growth shown between Alex and Brainy was really great in this episode with them getting used to working together and also understand each other’s losses in missing people like Winn and the rest of the Legion.

Then J'onn in this episode was interesting with him working to leave his life as an agent but still feeling a need to investigate into wrongs he sees. Then I loved the scene where he and Supergirl are J'onn are talking and J'onn says how he can’t help her fight but he will always be there for her emotionally and in other aspects of her life.

Then just overall this was a really well done first episode and I can’t wait to see what will happen next after how this episode ended with the reveal of the President being an alien.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 19 "The Fanatical" Review

A disciple of Coville's escapes from what's left of his cult and gives Kara and James a journal that could help save Sam; Guardian is found out.

This was such a great episode that did a good job of standing on its own because it is one of the few episodes that has little to nothing to do with Regin. I really liked Tanya going to James to help find Supergirl and warn her about what is happening. And just all the moments around Tanya and James were really great with how Tanya treated James once she discovered his secret about being Guardian. I do however believe that they made the political message in this episode a little heavy-handedly because it was all about police brutality on black men and how James feared how people would treat him if they knew that Guardian was a black man. But with that being said Mehcad Brooks performance as James talking about what his life was like growing up as a black man was amazing the only problem was how the writing sort of spoon fed us all that information. Then the discovery how what the cult was doing as interesting but also a little weird because they discovered that the cult is working to make more world killers. Which is a pretty cool idea the only problem is when it came to this rock that can turn people into world killers is also the same rock that can destroy the world killer inside of Sam. and to me, that just seems weird and lazy. The ending fight scene was really great with Supergirl having to destroy the rock that can help save Sam in order to stop and save Olivia. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 18 "Shelter from the Storm" Review

When Reign starts hunting Ruby, Supergirl and Alex work together to keep her safe. Supergirl and J'onn look to Sam's mother for advice on how to stop Reign and come away with shocking news.

This was a really great episode that had so many amazing moments to it especially where it took the whole Reign storyline. All the moments with Alex and Ruby were great with the slow revile to who Reign is to Ruby. And the introduction of the Luthor mansion was such a great surprise to see it all in action and I hope there are moments in the future where they can come back to the mansion. Then everything with Supergirl and J'onn meeting Sam's mother was really well done from the fact that Sam's mother blames herself for what is going on because she made Sam suppress this other side of her for so long to the realization that Regin has always been a part of Sam in some way and has been trying to get out for years. The Legion deciding to leave was kind of sad because I really liked having them around to help out and Brainiac-5's deduction that if one legionnaire says behind to help out Supergirl their chance of success will improve by like 70% was an interesting way to get Mon-El to stay behind. And the whole reasoning for Mon-El to stay behind was really great with it bring up how Mon-El needs to decide his feeling for Kara and if he is willing to let those feeling go for good so that he can completely be with Imra. Then the whole final fight scene was great and now I'm really interested to see what they are going to do to try and save Sam. Then just overall this was an amazing episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 17 "Trinity" Review

Still reeling after learning about Lena's secret, Supergirl asks Guardian for a favor that could alter his relationship with Lena forever. Meanwhile, with all three Worldkillers united, Supergirl and the team brace for an epic battle.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that did an amazing job of setting a lot of things up for what is to come. I enjoyed all the scenes with Sam in this parallel dimension that she gets stuck in when Reign takes over. Just all the moments of Sam trying to not forget who she is and helping out some of the other world killers was just really well done. Then the moments of Supergirl, Lena, and Alex going into this parallel dimension to try and reach Sam and get her back in control of her own body was really entertaining. Which all lead up to a great final fight where Alex got some cool new weapons and we got to see the end of two of the world killers. Which that ending was the one part that confused me because if the two other world killers besides Reign were so disposable and Reign could just have their powers herself what was even the point of having them there in the first place. Then everything with Lena and Supergirl revolving around Lena gaining the ability to create Kryptonite was an interesting side story but it felt so heavy handed with how hard they tried to make the two of them not see eye to eye. Because yes I could see both sides of there argument with Lena bringing up how thousands of things can kill humans each day and people just live with those things, but I also understand Supergirls argent that none of those things hurt like Kryptonite does. Then bringing James into all of this and kind of making him pick a side was really great and so interesting to see the decisions he made. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and I'm curious to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 16 "Of Two Minds" Review

Supergirl and Imra have different ideas on how to stop the third Worldkiller, Pestilence. However, when both Alex and Winn are seriously injured by Pestilence, Supergirl and Imra team up to stop the destruction.

This was a really great and amazing episode that had so many entertaining moments to it. I really loved how they did Pestilence in this episode and the journey to find her. It was really interesting how they decided to change the lore around Pestilence where it was previously thought that the people who get sick and die just need to be exposed to Pestilence and then to other sick people but in this episode the team discovered that the only way to get sick is if you come in direct contact with Pestilence. Then it was really interesting to see the team try and narrow down who Pestilence might be by looking at the small group of people first exposed and in that they do find her but not directly as they first thought. Then Pestilence's whole goal in this episode was interesting with her targeting the rich who refuse to freely help the sick and needy. Everything around Sam and Lena was great with Lena trying to get Sam to confront Reign and Lena discovering that when Reign come out Sam goes to a parallel universe. The ending of this episode was amazing with Supergirl finally discovering who Reign is and all three of the Worldkillers are brought together. Then moments between Imra and Supergirl were interesting with how they handled working together but having to different goals in mind just to discover as a whole they were fighting for the same goal which was to save their sisters. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and fun episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 15 "In Search of Lost Time" Review

Supergirl must work with J'onn to contain the chaos resulting from Myr'nn's psychic disturbances at the DEO; Mon-El teaches Kara fighting techniques he learned in the future for battling Worldkillers.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that had so many amazing moments to it. I really enjoyed the theme around this episode when it came to J'onn and Myr'nn which was the passing of the torch and how there is a moment in every life where the son has to step up and become the father. It was great how Myr'nn's anger and stress around his illness caused his illness to make everyone else around him lash out in anger at each other. So everything with Winn was really great with seeing him freak out at people around him. Then everything between Kara and Mon-El was really great with Kara finally getting all her anger towards Mon-El out but the only part that really confused me was how everything that she hated him for happened before they started dating so how could he be a horrible boyfriend because of them. The ending for this episode was really great with Kara and J'onn working together to convince Myr'nn to step down and let J'onn help him. the moments between Lenna and Samantha in this episode were also great with Lenna finally angering Sam enough to bring Reign out and show Sam the truth of who she is. Then just overall this was a really interesting and great episode to watch.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 14 "Schott Through the Heart" Review

Following the death of his father, Winn must work with his estranged mother to stop a copycat Toyman.

This was a really great episode that was a little confusing to follow because some parts felt really random but still it was so much fun to watch. I'm a little sad that they decided to kill off the Toyman because I was really hoping that he would come back and try and be in Winn's life again and Winn has to deal with that now that he is at the DEO. Even though that didn't happen I'm really happy with what they did show by them introducing Winn's mother and showing the complex relationship they have because of Winn's father. I was really hoping that with how they were setting things up that they would have Winn's mother also be evil and crazy like the Toyman and that she was behind everything and for the most part they really set it up like she was going to be the villain by saying how she knows how each of the Toyman inventions work and how she'll do anything to make up for lost time and then Winn's mother turned out to not be all that important which was a little sad. Then the actual copycat was a little confusing because of she just kind of popped up at the end of the episode and we didn't really get much of a motive behind what she was doing or why she was just so random and made very little sense to me as to why she was there. I did really like the ending fight scenes with Mon-El and Supergirl teaming up to stop some of the copycat's killer inventions. Then overall this was a really great episode that had a lot of really entertaining moments to it.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 13 "Both Sides Now" Review

The DEO captures another Worldkiller, who escapes and attacks the city's subway tunnels.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments in it. I liked what they did with the character of Julia and how they introduced to the DEO the idea that these world killers have no idea that they are world killers. The moments between Alex and Supergirl were interesting with Alex just wanting to put Purity down while Supergirl wants to try and reach Julia that is trapped inside of Purity. But the one weak point in that whole conflict between Alex and Supergirl was how easily Alex gave in to Supergirls plan after seeing a small splinter of Julia inside of Purity that could have easily been a trick. Then everything with Samantha was great in this episode with her accepting that she is sick with something that is causing her to black out, and she decided to make up for lost time by spending the day with Ruby but Regin has other plans. The ending conversation between Samantha and Lena was really great with it final causing enough rage in Samantha that Regin comes out to play for a few seconds, so with that, I'm very curious to see what Lena will do next. Then the ending fight scene at the subway tunnel seemed really confusing and just overdramatic for what was actually going on. And all of it just kind of turned into a mess that seemed unimportant beside just giving Purity a good opportunity to escape with Regin. Then just overall this was a fun episode that had some interesting moments to it.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 12 "For Good" Review

Morgan Edge accuses Lena of plotting an attempt on his life and Kara steps in to help her.

This was a really great episode that was a little confusing and hard to understand but still, it was so entertaining a watch and see how everything played out. The whole opening scene with Morgan Edge getting into an accident after having a conversation with Lena was interesting with how it all played out and I just have a hard time understanding Morgan's logic on how it could possibly be Lena's fault. Then the slow realization of the truth of what is actually going on was interesting with it is that everything was actually planned by Morgan to find a way to discredit Lena. I really love watching as more events kept happening we got to see a more darker Lena. I still have a hard time believing that Lena doesn't know that Kara is Supergirl and that was the most troubling part of this episode when Kara would have to switch into Supergirl and Lena wouldn't notice those moments were the moments that made Lena seem really kind of dumb. Then the sort of dramatic scenes on the airplane were interesting with Morgan attempting to poison the city's water as well as kill Lena and that didn't make much sense to me with how was all planned out because the fact that if everything would've worked out how would they explain Lena's body being in the back of the plane when she was supposed to be the one flying it. It was interesting to see Supergirl saved the day by catching both ends of the plane that split half and then eventually find a way to save Lena as well as stop the poison from hitting the water. Then the moment of realization that it was actually Lena's mother that came back into the mix to protect Lena in some weird way was a little confusing with the backward logic that Lillian had. But it did add up to a really cool confession scene for Morgan and a nice fight scene for Supergirl and Mon-El. Then just overall this was a really great and entertaining episode that had some confusing moments to it but it was still a nice watch.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 11 "Fort Rozz" Review

Supergirl and Saturn Girl recruit Livewire and Psi for a mission to recover a prisoner from Fort Rozz who knows how to defeat Reign.

This was a really entertaining and fun episode that did a great job of having a good solid story outside of the normal comfort zone for Supergirl. I really liked the idea of bringing back some of the villains to play heroes it was really interesting to watch both Psi and Livewires storylines as the episode went on. But that being said it was a little disappointing how they brought this whole powerful group to Fort Rozz and end up benching half so that it was mostly just about Supergirl and Livewire because Psi couldn't control her powers and it was affecting Saturn Girl. But even then it was more disappointing because Supergirl was such a dead weight for the team because she had no powers and everyone was constantly having to save her that the storyline might have gone better if they would have just sent up the Legion instead. The information that was eventually given to Supergirl about World Killers was really great because it set things up in a way that different World Killers could pop up at any time even after this season. Then the whole fight against Reign was interesting especially with it proves that there is a way to almost switch Samatha back on if given the right motive. Then it was fun to watch the interactions between Winn and Brainiac-5 as they were trying to one-up each other. Then just overall this was a fun but okay episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 10 "Legion of Superheroes" Review

Supergirl remains in a dreamlike state after sustaining injuries from Reign, so Mon-El recruits Brainiac-5, a member of the Legion of Superheroes, to bring her back.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of great moments to it. I really liked all the moments with Kara being stuck in a mental version of her apartment and she had to work through some mental issues before she was allowed to escape. And the introduction of Brainiac-5 was really great because, in my opinion, he was really well done and funny. Then the moments with the Legion of Superheroes actually getting together to help fight Reign on Supergirl's behave was a little weak and just looked like a mess with how everything went down and all they really did was distract her for a little bit until Supergirl came around to do actual damage. It was really interesting to see how they found a kind of weakness for Reign where she does have a weakness to Kryptonite but only in super high doses. Then the ending of this episode was really interesting with Reign being informed about the other world killers and is now on the quest to go and find them. Then just overall this was a really interesting episode that had some nice moments to it.

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 9 "Reign" Review

Supergirl traces the origins of a mysterious symbol to an ancient prophecy and the mark of the World Killer, Reign.

This was a really great mid-season finale episode that did an amazing job of setting things up for the future. I really enjoyed what they did around the air direction of Reign finally coming to National City and just how all that played out. With things like Kara looking into the symbol that keeps appearing around the city and discovering its connection back to Krypton and of the guy who is super into the Kryptonian religion was interesting to see. And I really enjoyed his Cameo with it bring up the comment of the Fort Rozz people that are still somewhere on Earth and I really would like to see more of them make an appearance again. Then everything with them finally introducing the concept of the Legion of Superheroes was interesting being them going through a brief history of how the legion was originally set up and what all it does. But I am a little disappointed that none of the other members actually woke up in this episode and that we have to wait till the show comes back to actually meet some of the other members like Brainiac 5. Then everything with the whole massive fight scene between Kara and Reign was so amazing and well done and I just loved it so much because of the fact that it showed an actual villain that was stronger than Kara and in my opinion that's just something that hasn't been done before. Because in the past all the villains that Kara faced she could just pretty much defeat them by beating them up and she can't do that with Reign and just how that all turned out was just so brutal and well done. And just overall this was an amazing and well-done mid-season finale episode and I'm so excited to see where they're going to take the story when it comes back.
