Arrow Season 4 Episode 22 "Lost in the Flood" Review

Following the shocking events in the previous episode, Oliver and Diggle race to rescue Thea, while Felicity, Curtis, and Noah join together to stop Darhk.

This was a very interesting and exciting episode that really to some degrees could have been the season finally in itself. So this episode is finally about the rest of team Arrow realizing that Thea being gone so long and not answering her phone might be a problem, so they finally go out and try and find her. And the one entrance that was shown to lead into Darhk's secret underground town was a little weird to me with how all the entrances seem designed and the location of this one entrance to everything else in that underground town. Because when they eventually leave at the end of this episode they leave from the same tunnel they came in, so from all the different locations they went to underground how far away was that entrance from them especially at the end when everything is falling apart around them. The part with Thea having to take one of the yellow pills seemed really off to me because it was definitely a necessary scene to explain her character for this episode, but the way the scene was done was just weird and kind of awkward. Anarky in this episode was really great and again really fun to see. And the fact that he got away again makes me really excited to see him again in the future. All the parts with Felicity and her family were kind of fun, especially the scene where Felicity left Curtis alone with them. The part with Felicity's mother saying that they are the ones who actually ran away from her father and not the other way around seem really interesting to me for some reason. Then also bringing back Felicity's old hacker ex-boyfriend in this episode was a little fun. But I felt that with the fact that her ex mostly uses stolen code from her that she could easily code around it, and it seemed like there was a bit of that but mostly they just seemed to be going toe to toe and Curtis is the one who managed to beat him. Overall I really loved this episode and it is definitely going on my favorites list.
