Gordon works in a monster-ridden Gotham as a
bounty hunter and seeks to find answers about the Indian Hill escapees
and why their powers appear to be killing them. Bruce’s doppelganger
roams the streets and Barbara and Tabitha open a nightclub called The
Sirens.
This was an interesting episode with a lot of parts that didn’t really connect but hopefully in the episodes to come some things might become clearer. I find it kind of weird how easily Selina seems to get herself into every group out there in Gotham, because you see her at The Siren at the beginning of this episode and then throughout the rest of this episode she is hanging out with Fish Mooney, so it is really kind of amazing how she manages to be friend with everybody. And when they said that Valerie Vale was coming to Gotham I thought that it would be a very small and not all that important of a part but she was present for most of this episode, and really seems like she is going to continue to be present for many more episodes to come. Ivy’s whole transformation went a little better than I thought it would but still it is kind of a stupid idea in order to get Ivy older. Some of the monsters shown in this episode had some really cool and unique abilities and I can’t wait to see more of them. Bruce and his doppelganger were both done really well and with how this episode ended I think the doppelganger might be taking over for Bruce for a while and that is why it is planned that we will see a bit more stuck-up version of Bruce. With all the posters and stuff showing the Court of Owls and making it seem liked they would be this really big thing and I was expecting to see more of them in this episode but they only really were in the last part. So hopefully the next episode will show them a bit more. Overall I liked this episode but I don’t think it was the greatest of episodes.
