Arrow Season 5 Episode 6 "So It Begins" Review

Felicity and Curtis learn that Prometheus' victims have a mysterious link to Oliver's past that could upend his new team.

This was a very interesting episode that didn't have much to it in my mind as a plot. This episode was much more about showing off Prometheus as a character and getting to know just a small bit more about him. I really liked the beginning little moment where Spartan and Green Arrow were out hunting for Prometheus and were talking about how all of it could be a trap and they turned out to be right, that was a really fun little introduction to the episode in my mind. Bringing back Oliver's kill list from the first season I thought was such a great idea to bring some things together. I also really liked Prometheus's idea with bringing back the kill list and using that to prove that Oliver is the bad guy in the situation. Then how all the rest of the team reacted to this news was not all that surprising to me and in fact, I thought it was the perfect reaction for each of them. Then within that, I liked that they made the comment that Oliver has been the Arrow throughout all of the name and costume changes. The fight scene between Evelyn and Prometheus was really well done at not being too long or dramatic but still showing both their abilities and I thought it was really great. The reveal at the end of who Prometheus possibly is I was not expecting at all and it literally left me with my mouth dropped open. Overall this was a really good episode just not one I was super in love with.

Scorpion Season 3 Episode 7 "We're Gonna Need a Bigger Vote" Review

On election day, someone tries to create turmoil in the U.S. presidential election, and Team Scorpion is called to investigate.

This was a very interesting episode that was kind of fun to watch and it went a whole lot of route I wasn't expecting it to go. I really loved that this episode had all the team split off from Walter it was fun to see them working just fine but Walter struggling to get through. Then with that, I would have much preferred to have the FBI agent who stayed behind with Walter be much more serious rather than have him be the comic relief they made him out to be. And I was a little confused by Walter's whole grand escape because that moment was a little too jumpy when everything went down. And I feel all the people on air force one would have been less willing to listen to Walter then what was shown, but apparently, they recognised who he was and with that I feel they should have recognised him long before he ever made it on the plane. And even besides that the whole conversation they were having seemed to be missing key parts here and there. Then the secret place where they FBI was keeping the servers for the election was kind of cool because it made since in order to keep all the computers from overheating. Then who the actual bad were in this episode seemed to come a bit out of nowhere but managed to still have a good enough reason behind what they were doing to make it okay in my mind. Then the whole final break in scene they did to stop the bad guys was really kind of fun and funny to see all of what they had to go through. Then all the stuff with Paige and her meeting Tim's family was very interesting and I kind of love all the team looking out for Paige. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and it had a lot of great moments to it.

Gotham Season 3 Episode 8 "Blood Rush" Review

Captain Barnes begins to feel the effects of a recent incident and starts to go mad. Meanwhile, Nygma is out of his depth in his relationship with Isabella, and Carmine Falcone throws his son Mario and Leslie Tompkin's an engagement party.

This was a very exciting and great episode that left me so happy and really fangirling so much. I really love that this episode focused pretty much just on Barnes and everything that was going on with him. Just watching Alice's blood effect him more and more was really interesting to see. I really enjoyed the scene where Barnes went to the Mad Hatter in Arkham to see if there is a way around the effects and I fairly surprised Barnes didn't kill are harm the Mad Hatter in any drastic way. All the parts with the killer surgeon were really interesting but I wish they would have been a bit more of a forefront topic in this episode than what they were because he was just kind of sprinkled in there without any real depth to him. I knew they were going to bring the Judge into this season because they have to in order to make the Court of Owls storyline work out right but they way they showed the origin of the Judge in this episode is what really made my fan heart fall in love because for me it was kind of unexpected and just done so well. Then Nygma and Isabella were really interesting in this episode but also a little creepy with the depth they went to to prove that they can trust each other and know that Nygma won't every hurt her. I was not all that surprised when Penguin finally had enough of their relationship and decided to end it himself the only way he really knows how to. Overall this was a really fun and great episode, and I'm really excited to see what they will do next now that Gordon knows Barnes secret.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 5 "Crossfire" Review

Supergirl faces a ruthless new gang that's been given new alien technology by Cadmus.

This was a very interesting episode that really seemed like it was trying to be more than it actually was. This was all about humans getting their hands on alien weapons and everyone freaking out about it, which the amount everyone was freaking out felt like a bit of overkill in my mind. I really hated the line of "the second amendment gives us the right to bare arms and that should equate to alien weapons too." That is such a stupid line and I just didn't like how it was through in there when I heard that line it really made my skin crawl. Then the fact that because this one small group of humans got their hands on some alien weapons it made people want to get rid of the alien amenity act, that made no sense to me at all because those are two very different things. Then the fact that people are freaking out this much in general made no sense with the fact that it isn't an army so several groups of people with these weapons it is one group, and they aren't even all that great with the weapons anyway. I liked that in this episode they finally talked about more or less that Winn did quit from Catco to work for the DEO, it was something that was bugging be but now it is fully resolved. Then all the moments with Mon-El were really interesting, I liked seeing him develop his human personality as Mike and seeing how excited Kara was just to have all her hopes for him crushed. I also kind of liked that they went a bit of the Superman route with Mike with having one of his unsaid abilities be that he is just incredibly attractive to almost every women. Then the ending between the two of them was great where Kara settles on the fact that Mike is not her and she has to learn to accept the fact that he needs to go out and figure things out for himself, and she is just more there as a helpful hand. Lena and her party in this episode were really great at the moment of switching between Kara and Supergirl that had to happen at the party. But with how this episode ended for Lena it makes me, even more, certain that she is just like her brother she is just better at hiding how she truly feels about a situation. James wanting to be a superhero on his own is a very interesting idea that I don't know how I feel about it, but I do hope they give at least one good scene where both Supergirl and Superman try and talk him out of it just for him to prove them wrong and that he can be his own hero. Overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait for more.

Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 7 "Heartless" Review

Bandit Snow dodges a bounty hunter while shepherd David goes on a fateful journey; the Evil Queen threatens to destroy Storybrooke unless Snow and David surrender their hearts; David and Regina search for a magical sapling.

This was a very interesting episode that was alright but there were some parts that I didn't really care for. All of the back stories between Snow and David was very interesting, and at first, I was a little annoyed because I thought they were going to do a first-time introduction between the two of them again for the like fourth time. But lucky they didn't instead they managed to construct it in a way so that the two characters talk to each other but never formally introduce themselves to one another, with I found to be a kind of cool idea. They did make one mistake in that scene, however, is that they forgot about David's Shepard hair that was a bit longer than his regular hair unless they want us to believe that in the time between this encounter and when he first becomes a prince is when he grows out his hair. Then I really enjoyed the little moment of Hook's story time with Emma, I thought it was a really cute moment. The idea of the sapling was very interesting to me because I thought it was a very clever idea but along the lines of the evil queen if it were me I would have just burnt the sapling instead of what she did which was break it and then burn it, I thought that was a bit of overkill. Zelena was a little confusing in this episode because the first scene you see of her it seems like she knows that the Evil Queen and Rumple are together, but then later she is surprised to she them making out , I just don't understand what was suppose to be going on there. Then the new curse that the Evil Queen put on Snow and David I really kind of like it because it is not deadly or anything like that it is just really inconvenient for the two of them. Overall I enjoyed watching this episode I just did care for certain parts here and there.

Pure Genius Season 1 Episode 2 "It's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider Silk Surgery" Review

When a young boy's legs are crushed after being pinned by a car, Malik is determined to use a revolutionary procedure using spider silk to save his limbs, while Zoe lobbies in favor of the safer route of amputation. Also, James, Walter, and Talaikha care for Amelia, a young woman in dire need of a liver transplant, but they're puzzled by her resistance when they tell her the donor is her estranged father, Simon.

This was a really interesting episode that was definitely a lot better than the first episode. I really enjoyed the bit of development of the main group of doctors, and just really getting to know them more in this episode. The doctors having a bet up of when they think Dr. Wallace will quit I think is really funny and really great, and I really hope something comes out of that. Whether it be that someone put a bet in saying that he wouldn't quit or just something I really hope that it is not this one vain thing. Then the idea of using spider silk on the little boy's legs I think it was a very interesting idea because it is this really strong material but I feel it would dissolve in the human body faster than the boy's legs would heal. Then I really enjoyed the fact that James bought six plots of land to try and impress Zoe by building a bunch of parks for some kids who really need them. Amelia was a really interesting character and so was her father with just how different they were from each other. And I really enjoyed the ending of their story where the father decided to give part of his liver to make up for the terrible childhood he gave her by making sure she lived a long and happy life. All the parts with Walter and his son were very interesting to see that dynamic of the two of them being separated and that causing a lot of conflicts. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait for more.

American Horror Story Roanoke Episode 8 "Chapter 8" Review

Audrey, Monet, and Lee remain, hostages of the Polks, while Shelby and Dominic try to think of a way to escape the wrath of The Butcher back at the house.

This was a really interesting episode that was really about starting to wrap up this whole season and get down to the last person who survives all of the craziness. All the scenes with Shelby and Dominic were really great with all the craziness they endured at the house and those moments really brought all the past dead together. I have no idea how the two of them managed to survive as long as they did it was actually kind of amazing to watch the two of them deal it attack after attack and not die. Lee was really great in this episode with how she managed to survive everything that was thrown at her. The way she seemed so up for anything just to end up turning on the Polks was really great. Then I loved the scene with the Polks and how the managed to tie the teeth back into everything.I really can't wait to see what will happen to Monet now that she is alone with the last two Polks chasing after her. Then the fact of Lee convincing Audrey to go back to the Polks farm was really great by bringing up they need to delete the film of them killing the Polks when really she just wants to delete the film of her confession of killing Flora's father. Then Lee's change in opinion about Shelby was a little weird because she hated Shelby it seemed up until she heard that Shelby killed Matt and then she just couldn't believe it, and she instead blamed it on Dominic. I really hope in the next few episodes they'll show a bit more of the witch because she still is a mystery to me. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait for more.
