American Horror Story 1984 Episode 3 "Slashdance" Review

Imitation is the best form of tragedy. Coming clean can be pretty messy.
This was a really great episode that was fun to see them sort of messing with a bunch of the suspense that they have established in the previous few episodes and just sort of playing with the classic slasher moves. The real story in this episode around how Rita isn't actually Rita but someone working with Mr. Jingles was a pretty big surprise but it was interesting to see her whole plan that she initially set up and how things slowly started not necessarily go according to plan. Then everything with the jokey Mr. Jingles going around as a bunch of teenagers playing pranks on the counselors was fun to see how they had this extra problem of not necessarily knowing who is really Mr. Jingles and who was just a prankster. And I loved the whole scene with one of the pranksters encountering Mr. Jingles but thinking that it was just one of his friends in a really good costume and that whole exchange with Mr. Jingles and I especially loved Mr. Jingles just being so confused that he ended up just letting the guy go that was a really funny moment. Then everything with Chet and Ray in this episode was really great with them getting stuck in this pit full of spikes and Chet getting seriously hurt and Ray not knowing what to do and eventually choosing to abandon his friend to save his own skin was very interesting especially with the consequences that eventually came for Ray because of his choice to abandon Chet. Then the ending moments between Montana and Richard were a bit surprising and I'm really excited to see how their connection is actually played out and why she is essentially working with the Night Stalker. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was so much fun to watch and I'm so excited to see where they're going to take the storyline next now that a lot of them are pretty badly beaten up.

American Horror Story 1984 Episode 2 "Mr. Jingles" Review

Darkness descends upon the camp. Although it's lights out, evil has no curfew.

This was a really interesting and great episode that did a good job of building off of the story that was established in the previous episode as well as getting to know more of the characters and why they are in the positions they are in. The whole back story around Brooke and why she chose to move to LA was an interesting story with her escaping a rather murderous wedding and wanting to hide away and start over. Then the reveal around who Xander was talking to on the phone in the previous episode with it being this very skeevy agent who I was trying to push Xander to do things he didn't want to do and that led to a great moment with Xander eventually giving up Trevor to the agent so that he could go free. The whole scene with the Night Stalker and the hitchhiker was kind of confusing with how they chose to shoot the scene because it was supposed to show that the hiker can't die because he's already dead but the way they showed it made it seem like they mistakenly killed him twice and forgot to cut out one of the different killings because they didn't really show him getting back up which I think is an important scene they just showed Richard killing him and then they went to a different scene and then went back to showing Richard killing him again and that made things really confusing for a bit until they later established, oh he's dead already from Mr. Jingles. Then the whole scene between Margaret and Richard was very interesting with their conversations around their motives of why they do what they do and why their beliefs impact those actions. I'm very curious to see what's going to happen in the future when Richard and Mr. Jingles potentially go head-to-head. Then I really enjoyed how they continue to play off of a lot of the 80's horror movie cliches with the group deciding to split up into two smaller groups to go and find the keys to the last remaining cars and that causes problems with there being two killers on the loose. And with how this episode ended I'm really excited to see which one of the groups ended up with which killers. Then just overall this was a really exciting and great episode and I cannot wait to see what they will do next.

American Horror Story 1984 Episode 1 "Camp Redwood" Review

In the summer of 1984, five friends escape Los Angeles to work as counselors at Camp Redwood. As they adjust to their new jobs, they quickly learn that the only thing scarier than campfire tales is the past coming to haunt you.
This was a really great first episode that mostly just focused on developing some of the characters and the environment they are in. Two of these characters were interesting in the reasons why they decided to leave and escape to the wilderness. Xavier choosing to leave to escape from some kind of stalker coming for him which I'm excited to see develop in the future. Then Brooke leaving LA to escape the Night Stalker was such a great moment to bring the Night Stalker back from Hotel. The whole backstory around the camp was interesting with this supposed groundskeeper known as Mr. Jingles going mad and killing a cabin of campers then escaping from a mental institute the night of the camps reopening. I'm very interesting to see if Mr. Jingles is really the killer or if the new head of the camp is and Mr. Jingles got that blame. I really loved all the 80's horror movie stereotypes that played into this episode and I want to know if there going to stick to those stereotypes or flip the table and do something different. Then just overall this was a fun first episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 10 "Apocalypse Then" Review

The witches prepare for a final epic battle with Michael.

This was a really interesting but disappointing episode because they made all this setup for this big witch vs antichrist fight just over it to fizzle out and be nothing really at all. Everything at the bunker and leading on where episode three left off started out great with all the people who came back and all the back and forth but there Michael just kind of ripped through all the witches without much effort which was all the entertaining to see. The one line by Cordelia and how there will always be witches coming for Michael because he is one and the witches are a legion.

Everything with the time travel ended up with it being a lot of my fears because the time travel concept is something that is hard to maintain and control especially when not introduced right away. So the time travel was completely messed up in this episode compared to the previous episode because last time it showed Mallory only being able to travel for a short time and then went back to her current time while what happened in this episode showed her fixing things and then sticking around back in time and remembering all of what happened previously. So that makes little sense to me and I want to know it that means there are two Mallory's running around now or two Supremes running around in her and Cordelia. Then the fix to stop the Apocalypse also changed a lot of other things in Mallory sticking around and changing other things so like she brought Misty back and stopped Queenie from going to the Hotel Cortez so what changes did that effect in the big final fight at the Cortez.

And the way Mallory killed Michael was just really dumb and written off so heavily as a joke and undermined everything that this season set up for Michael. Which just really confused me because this whole season set up to make us feel for Michael and see where he is coming from so just to kill him off in a mundane way is just so odd to me. Then just overall this was a really weak and disappointing final episode to end an otherwise great season.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 9 "Fire and Reign" Review

As Michael puts a spell on Cordelia he continues toward world annihilation, starting with the witches and warlocks. Queenie and Zoe look for answers with the Voodoo Queen. Madison takes an unexpected trip to an old friend's house.

This was a really great continuation of set up for the final fight in the last episode. The moments where Michael attacking the witches were really great with how easily he ripped through all of them to fully show off his strength. Then the moments with Michael and the Meade-bot were fun where it turns out the Jeff and Mutt can control Meade to say what they want so they can influence Michael to get what they want. And the moments with the witches in the cabin was interesting with them finally setting up the new personality spell for Coco and Mallory as well as coming up with a way to poetically stop Michael by traveling through time. Which lead to a really cool scene where Mallory tried to save Anastasia by using time travel. But I'm worried what they are going to do because time travel is a messy thing to control especially when it is suddenly added into a show. The ending with Michael finally meeting with the Cooperative made for a nice way to end the episode the on a great beat. Then just overall this was an interesting episode that wasn't all that eventful but it was still kind of fun to watch.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 8 "Sojourn" Review

Michael grows desperate when his warlock allies are slaughtered and enlists the help of unlikely allies in his quest to start the apocalypse.

This was a really interesting episode that was a little slow in how its plot was shown but also it was a nice episode to show more on how Michael ended the world. I really loved the opening scenes where Michael discovers that his allies are dead and the whole confutation between him and Cordelia was so interesting. Then the moments of Michael in the woods was interesting with what he hallucinated and I'm curious to fully know what all the different hallucinations meant. Then the Satanist was really weird with how dedicated they were to Michael even when they just met him. I did enjoy the jokes surrounding what the Satanist thought of as true evil vs what actually is. Then the introduction of Jeff and Mutt was interesting with how they helped Michael and created a new and better Ms. Mead. Then just overall this was a really weird episode that was a little slow and boring but I'm really excited to see what will happen in the next episode now that Michael is gearing up to end the world.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 7 "Traitor" Review

With her powers waning, Cordelia enlists the help of Coco to bring justice for the coven and take the first step in stopping Michael.

This was a really interesting episode that had a lot of really great moments to it and it was so much fun to watch and see how everything worked out. It was really interesting how this episode just focused on the witches and how they planned and plotted to stop Michael. I really loved what they did with Bubbles in this episode and the introduction conversation between Bubbles and Madison was really great and I loved the tie back to the killer Santa from season 2 in Bubbles film that she is working on. Then the scene with Bubbles and Myrtle looking into what the Warlocks were planning was really great with them having this dinner to converse and have Bubbles read the Warlocks mind and they did such a great job of keeping the attention away from Bubbles as she worked. Then the moments with Cordelia was really great with her attempting to make a deal with Papa Legba to trap Michael but not going through with it because she doesn't want to sacrifice her girls. but I'm curious to see if Papa Legba will come back at some point when the other witches do all die at the hands of Michael. Then It was interesting how they finally chose Mallory as the new supreme but I do wish they would have shown her going through all the seven wonders because all they really showed was one when she used vitalum vitalis when she brought John Henry back. Yes, I could see them doing a bit of a combination of the Seven Wonders in her bringing John Henry back but still I would have liked to see it individually. Then everything around the Warlocks and them creating a plan to stop the witches were fun with how it was all shown and it made it funnier with how the witches stopped it. Then everything with Coco was just funny with her powers growing and Cordelia asking her to help track down Ms. Mead was great with them essentially using Coco as the decoy to distract Ms. Mead. The whole burning ceremony was really great with how they stuck to traditions on how a witch can't kill a warlock so John Henry stepping in to run the show was really fun. Then just overall this was a really fun episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 6 "Return to Murder House" Review

After being sent to the "Murder House" to gather information on Langdon's past, Madison and Behold discover a horrifying secret about the next Supreme.

This was such an amazing and great episode that was so entertaining to watch and I just loved it so much. The episode did an amazing job of telling its own story as well as bringing back a lot of the unresolved elements from the murder house season. Everything around Moria was really great with her finally getting her happy ending and escaping the murder house and being reunited with her family. Then I really loved how they told the story of how Michael's life was like growing up and how his relationship with Constance and the rest of his murder house family ended. I also found it interesting how they chose to explain Michael's sudden change in age where overnight he went from being eight to eighteen because it was finally time for him to start his work ending the world. Everything around Michael and Ben was really great with Ben actually trying to give Michael a chance to be a kid and be good but over time Michael's evil nature took over more and more and Ben chose to give up on Michael which was just sad. Then Vivien choosing to try and kill Michael was interesting with how they chose to show it. And the church of Satin showing up after following all the signs that Michael was putting out was a really interesting way for them to make the full connection between Michael and his father as well as introduce Ms. Mead to Michael. Then the storyline around Tate and Violet was interesting and weird with them deciding to explain way all of Tate's action on the evilness in the house and that Tate is relatively fine now because all that evilness left with Michael. That seems like such a weak way to try and make Tate's actions seem okay and make it okay for Violet to love Tate again. I do like how strong-willed Violet was that she was willing to hold up her side and keeping ignoring Tate all these years until the end of this episode. Then just overall this was a really amazing and well-done episode that was so much fun to watch and see how everything turned out and I'm so excited to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 5 "Boy Wonder" Review

After witnessing the Apocalypse, Cordelia must act quickly to stop Michael or face the end of days.

This was a really great episode that was so much fun to watch and see how everything played out. I loved everything around the seven wonders and the grace of how Michael worked through all of them. And the style that they decided to show the seven wonders in was great with them turning it into a black and white silent movie just in a nice job of showing off how Michael thought of doing the seven wonders as a fun game because it was so easy for him to do everything. Then the Descensum part was so great with Michael going into hell to free Misty, but a part of me does wish that we could have seen Michael’s personal hell if he has one. Then I loved how Cordelia somewhat of used the seven wonders to test to see if Michael’s is what he says he is. And I wonder if they are going to use Misty’s return as her passing the seven wonders as well because she did come back from Descendum as well. Then it was so great to see what Michael actually has planned and how he needs to kill the witches in order to complete it. Then it was also interesting how Ariel is willing to ignore all the signs showing the evilness of Michael in order to gain more power for himself. Then bringing Stevie Nicks back in this episode to celebrate Misty’s return was so beautiful and I want to know what they are planning when they decided to change some of the lyrics in her song Gypsy. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I can wait to see what will happen in the next episode since they are going back to the murder house.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 4 "Could It be... Satan?" Review

Michael’s history as a teenager, and how he came to find himself at the Hawthorne Boy’s school, is revealed.

This was a really great episode that was so well done and I completely understand and agree with the fact that this is the highest rated episode for the whole series. I loved seeing a bit of Michaels teenage years and some of his powers and his relationship with the real Ms. Mead. I’m very curious to know if Michael is aware of what he is and he is just playing dumb or is he truly believe that he is a really powerful warlock. Everything around reintroducing the coven witches and seeing how they interacted with the warlocks was so great even for me who never really cared for the Coven season and struggled to get through it. I did enjoy seeing a bit of what Mallory was like before her memory was wiped and how powerful they seemed to make her seemed to set her up for a possible new supreme. Then Michael going and getting Queenie out of the Cortez and Madison out of her personal hell was really great and fun t show himself off a bit to the witches and show just how powerful he is was such a great way to end the episode. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I’m so excited to see Michael do the seven wonders in the next episode.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 3 "Forbidden Fruit " Review

Ms. Venable and Ms. Mead enact a sinister plan on Halloween, while a figure from the past resurfaces.

This was a really great episode that had so many interesting and great moments to it with a very surprising ending. It was interesting how they sort of rapid fired through the rest of the interviews only highlighting the important parts for each person. The moment with Dinah in her interview was interesting with how it seemed that Michael and Dinah knew each other and knew the power each side held, so I’m curious to see how they know of each other. And the interview between Mallory and Michael was just awesome and reviled a lot where it looks like Mallory is a witch and doesn’t know it but she is also powerful enough to scare Michael. There was also the revile that Michael possible killed all the witches or at least thought he did. The truth around Ms. Mead and why she was built was an interesting revile that I’m excited to see more or the truth in the next episode. The Halloween party was great with the appearance of the apples and Ms. Venable and Ms. Mead using them as a way to almost guarantee their chance in the sanctuary. Which with that I have to say that was probably the quickest way they managed to kill off the most of the main people in one go which was so surprising. The ending of this episode and the return of some of the witches from Coven makes me really excited to see what will happen next. I really want to know the purpose of Emily and Timothy because they were so heavily focused on for the past couple of episodes to not have them matter is weird but if they truly were there to just represent the destruction of everything even love I could kind of see them no longer serving any purpose, but still I want more of them at some point. But overall this was a really great episode and I’m really excited to see the next episode where they are going to the murder house and we get to see further back in Michael’s story.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 2 "The Morning After" Review

Michael Langdon prepares a meeting with the guests of Outpost 3. Meanwhile, Ms. Venable and Ms. Meade have a sinister plan in store.

This was a really great and interesting episode that did a nice job of setting up some possible events of what is to come. I really enjoyed how this episode did a good job of setting up Michael as a character and seeing how he interact with other people in Outpost 3. It was a really smart idea in my mind to have the episode focus on just the interview between Michael, Mr. Gallant, and Ms. Venable because you got to see how the interviews work and what Michael does to mess with them after he has better figured them out. Bringing back the rubber man was really great with how they chose to have him around as a sexual desire for Mr. Gallant. Then the moments with Emily and Timothy was interesting with them sneaking into Langdon's room to try and figure out where the Sanctuary is and all the other things that they figured out was interesting. I really did like the comparison that some people made with Langdon's apple computer and the apple of Eden with how the computer tempted Emily and Timothy to break the rules. Then I found it kind of funny how as soon as Emily and Timothy found out a lot of Ms. Venable's rules were made up they almost instantly started to break them. Then just overall this was a really great episode and had so many fun moments to it and with how this episode ended I'm very curious to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story Apocalypse Episode 1 "The End" Review

After a nuclear attack, a select few must survive in a bunker dubbed Outpost Three ruled by a tyrannical matriarch.

This was a really amazing first episode and I have to say out of all the season this is my favorite first episode because they just got in there with the story. Which really surprised me because I was expecting the bombs to drop at the end of this episode at the earliest but they just started off right away with the bombs dropping. I thought they were going to spend the first episode introducing all the main characters and then after those introductions, you would see how they react to the bombs, but no they drop the bombs first and then you get to truly meet the characters which were so interesting to me.

Everything around Coco, Mallory, and their friends at the beginning of this episode were really great with the bombs coming and Coco happened to be rich enough that she has several tickets to Outpost Three. And I'm really curious on how they got to Outpost Three because from what they showed the group were up on an autopiloted plain to get out of the initial blast zone but then what happened to the next? I guess will just have to wait and see that in the next episode. Then Coco's husband Brock was really great with Coco deciding to leave him behind because he was taking to long to get to the plain and I'm very curious to see what happened to him and if he is going to come back and get his revenge epically if it is as a ghost because the ghosts are coming back this season.

Then the Outpost Three lifestyle was really interesting with the higher up being in purple and the slaves being in grey. Ms.Venable was so well done with the creepy nature around her but there are some moments that left me a little curious about her. Because the one scene where she went and dressed up in purple in secret made me think maybe she isn't supposed to be in charge but then with how this episode ended with the guy coming into the bunker to inspect it made it so she was supposed to be in charge the whole time. Then I really loved how she made up her own rules and tried to drive everyone else insane by limiting their food and trying to make them into cannibals. And her cane hitting the ground as she approached was a great thing to show her ominous presents everywhere.

Timothy and Emily were really interesting with them being part of the special group selected to survive because of there genes. And seeing Timothy whisked away from his family because he was the only one with these selected genes was really sad but also done so well. Then I'm very curious to see what is going to happen to them because they seem like the least disposable of the characters we have so far been introduced to and there is no doubt in my mind that there going to break the rules and have sex.

The ending makes me very excited to see who is going to be accepted into the new outpost and who is going to be left behind. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting first episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story: Cult Episode 10 "Charles (Manson) in Charge" Review

Kai begins to unravel as he starts to suspect a traitor in his ranks.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode to watch and see how everything turned out. I really like what they did with the ideas of Kai slowly going insane and how everyone dealt with that in their own ways. And I really like how Ally dealt with it with her sort of working with his hallucinations to stay on his good side and working with him when he had the idea that there is a mole amongst the ranks. But then Winter was sort of on the flip side where is she was trying to get Kai back into the right mindset and trying to distance herself from him to keep herself safe. And I just really enjoyed that whole conversation between Kai and Winter where they’re talking about how they’re always going to stay a family and Winter bring up that once the members of The Cult get what they want to leave him so he has to always remember that she will be the only one who truly sticks by his side. And just how all that turned out was really amazing to watch and see the twists and turns of that whole relationship. Then I really enjoyed all the ideas that they serve took from the Charles Manson Murders and how they sort of took all the ideas that he did in his murders were he was trying to get them to be blamed on other people that weren’t him, and Kai took those ideas and he’s doing with similar sort of way to try and commit a bunch of murderers and blame it the senator he’s running against. The ending of this episode was so great with it being revealed that there actually was a mole and that Kai wasn’t fully hallucinating and I’m just really curious to see how all that’s going to turn out now that Ally knows who the mole is. And just overall this was a really amazing and entertaining episode watch and I’m so excited to see what’s going to happen in the season finale.

American Horror Story: Cult Episode 8 "Winter of Our Discontent" Review

Ally confronts Kai meanwhile Winter must choose between Kai and Beverly when he makes a questionable decision.

This was a really amazing and entertaining episode that was so great to watch and see how everything was done and what all might happen going forward. And I really love that most of this episode revolved around Winter and her dealing with everything that's going on with Kai and her trying to decide if she is going to stick with her brother because he's her brother or if she's going to go with Beverly and try and protect herself. And I just really loved how she dealt with everything that Kai sort of threw out to her and how she sort of evolve to settling on that her brother really is out of hand with him making all these decisions to try and keep the cult going after he dies because he fully thinks that he's going to die at some point. And then I really loved the moment when Winter has to face off against the detective and she sort of harkens back to the last episode was Valerie Solanas and she tries to get the detective to call himself a turd and she calls him scum and does all this different stuff was just really amazing to see her finally sort of start to stand up for herself and making decisions for herself. And then the moments with Beverly or interesting with how everything ended and how it all sort of interconnected back to Winter because at the beginning of this episode Beverly made the comment to Winter that she had so much time to try and get her brother back on the right track otherwise Beverly was going to go and kill him so how old it turned out was just really amazing. Then the moments with Ally were really great with her whole conversation with Kai and her trying to understand why he's doing what he's doing and the fact that she joined the cult in this episode to try and get back her son and trying to get back everything that she wants makes me really excited to see what's all going to happen between Ally and Ivy in the next episodes. Then Kai's older brother's whole story makes me really curious to know what he actually had planned whether it is what Ally said that his brother really had a plan which was that he wants to try and have all these documents saying that he was trying to get Kai committed for insanity as a way that once Kai's plans eventually fail he will have a backup to say that he knew about it and he tried to stop it or if his older brother was actually genuinely trying to help Kai all that I'm really interested to know more about but with how this episode ended I don't think that's going to happen. And then just overall this was a really amazing and entertaining episode that you really need to watch to fully understand what all happened in what's all going on.

American Horror Story: Cult Episode 7 "Valerie Solanas Died for Your Sins: Scumbag" Review

Kai begins to solidify his grasp on power; Bebe Babbitt, the former lover of the first female cult leader Valerie Solanas, who warns Beverley, Ivy, and Winter about Kai.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that was so great with the way they decide to do with storyline and I really love what they decide to do with Valerie Solanas and I don't know much about her so I don't know what's true and what isn't and I just really liked this whole thing around the Scumbag manifesto. I was a little confused around the whole Scum murders because I thought Twisty the Clown was the Zodiac killer but I could be wrong because the Freak Show season is the one I'm least familiar with. But even so, the whole episode revolving around Valerie's slow descent into madness was really great with how everything was shown. Then the moments with the girls starting to turn their backs on Kai was really great and with how this episode ended I'm really curious to know what all Kai actually has planned. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and amazing episode and I can't wait to see what they will do next.

American Horror Story Cult Episode 6 "Mid-Western Assassin" Review

Ally takes Meadow to Dr. Rudy to confirm her story about the cult; An unexpected opponent runs against Kai in the city council election.

This was a really entertaining and interesting episode that was really enjoyable to watch and see how everything turned out. It was really interesting to see how everything was re-edited because this was the episode that was going to have a shooting scene be readjusted to pay respect to those affected by the shooting that took place in Las Vegas. And you could see that re-editing at some points where they would randomly cut away to the American flag and stuff so it was interesting to see all that done. Then I really liked the team up between Ally and Meadow and having Meadow explain more about the backstory of the cult. Which Meadow's reason for joining the cult was really great with her looking for someone to truly love her and Kai gave that love to her. Then I really loved who Ally chose who to alley with when it came to stopping the cult because she knew she couldn't go to the police and so she had to make friends elsewhere. Then the whole twist at the end of who the shooter actually was and what Meadow all had planned for Ally was just really great. And I really loved the somewhat of ending statement which was no one will believe the truth coming out of a crazy person mouth. And just overall this was a really great and entertaining episode and I'm so excited to see what will happen next.

American Horror Story: Cult Episode 5 "Holes" Review

Beverly's journalistic integrity is called into question; Kai plans to broadcast a gruesome murder committed by the cult; Ally's phobias reach a new low.

This was a really entertaining and interesting episode that did a lot of going back where episode three left off but there is a bit of a gap in time between those two episodes. There were so many really cool reveals in this episode one of them being that yes Winter is a part of the cult, but it was shown that Ivy is a part of the cult which just blew my mind. And I'm very curious to see how all this is going to turn out because in this episode Ally found out the truth about Ivy when Meadow came to her looking for help. Then the parts with the cult were very interesting as there having the story jump back and forth through time as the group is progressing there skills and understanding more what they need to do to create fear in people. The main kill that the cult did in this episode was really great with them going after Beverly's boss so that she can more freely show some of the cult's activities on the news, and them just finding out all these secrets about Beverly's boss was really great. Then it was interesting with the cult and them realizing that now they have more power it is a lot easier to start getting rid of the weaker links, so it was interesting to start seeing them turn on each other. Then the part of the episode where it showed Kai's supposed backstory was really great and I kind of hope that he is lying. Because before he started talking it was commented that he has made up a lot of different stories about himself and I kind of hope this is another fake one and someone figures that out and goes into the locked room to find no bodies. Then I really enjoyed the revealed of even more members of the cult where it was shown that the detective is a member as well as Ally's therapist but the therapist isn't just a member he is also Kai's older brother. And just overall this was a really great and interesting episode and I'm so excited to see where they will go from here.

American Horror Story: Cult Season 7 Episode 4 "11/9" Review

Kai begins recruiting members for his cult; Beverly struggles to stay ahead of a young reporter willing to do anything to become an anchor.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that I found it kind of weird that they decided to put this episode in now as the 4th episode but I still enjoyed seeing what everyone was doing leading up to the first episode. It was also a little weird how they set everything up where the episode started out the day of the election where everyone was going out and voting and then it went back like several weeks before that day and slowly lead back up to that night. I really enjoyed that a lot of this episode was dedicated to Kai and him working on gaining all his followers and stuff. And it was really interesting how they decided to do that where he became really close friends with people and said things like he will always be there to defend them and the people they felt like they need to always be there for him too. I really enjoyed seeing all the different parts to this cult he's building be put in place where it is shown Meadow making the clown costumes the killers wear and Kai first making the smiley face left behind at the crime scenes. I liked how Ivy came into play in this episode where she and Winter sort of randomly came into contact with one another and they worked together to stop a Trump voter from voting. And then Kai sort of had to go in a fix everything that Winter did to fight against him. Which makes me wonder how Winter fits into everything did she originally fight against the cult but the deal she made with Kai be if Hilary won she didn't have to join but it she lost Winter had to join the cult. I was really weird how they decided to introduce this episode now as the 4th episode because the last episode left off at a cliffhanger and this episode didn't mention anything about the last episode. But this was still such a great episode because it did so much clearing things up that it didn't fully matter that much. But hopefully, the next episode will pick up where the 3rd episode left off. But overall I have to say that this was a really amazing episode and it was so interesting to watch and I just want to know more.

American Horror Story: Cult Episode 3 "Neighbors from Hell" Review

Ally deals with the fallout from the shooting of Pedro.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that did a really nice job of picking up where the last episode left off and I really sort of enjoyed seeing how they filled out the story more and made more connections and started clearing out the mist and making stuff make more sense. I did enjoy seeing what they did with the ideas of what the repercussions were for Alley after shooting Pedro which is so many people who have turned on her and put her out there as the villain and that she's doing this because she's racist and she's doing this because of all these different things. But I feel like they are focusing more on the idea of her being racist and I feel like if it was really in the media that something like this happens the media would focus more on the ideas of her being crazy because I feel like how she was acting and how freaked out she seemed about everything the media comments would be "why would you give absolutely insane person a gun." And then and all the scenes with the neighbors and Ally where interesting like with Ally dealing with them after what happened to Pedro and then calling her racist than really sort of drilling in what she did and how it was wrong was interesting to see how it just finally sort of made her snap and she turned absolutely hate them and everything that they were doing was really just out to get her and help to make her seem like this completely monsters person and that was interesting to see how that eventually all turned out and just seeing what was actually sort of going on with the neighbors was interesting to see two of them. Then I find it really kind of interesting what they're doing with the whole detective that has been popping up with all these different stuff going on and now he's hanging out with the neighbors. I really liked seeing how everything seemed to connect back to Kai because in this episode we now know that the neighbors are a part of his group and probably that goes to say the detective is also. So all that is a part that I can't wait to see get all cleared up more and see what is all really happening. It was also interesting how this killer clowns kind of changed up there tactics in this episode wherein previous episodes we saw them leave their little smiley face tag after they committed the murders but now there are placing them on peoples houses ahead of time to kind of say your next. And I do have to say just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode and I'm very curious to see where they will go from here.
