Emergence Season 1 Episode 2 "Camera Wheelbarrow Tiger Pillow" Review

As Jo continues to search for answers, a mysterious man's appearance in town may cause problems for the family. Piper tries to understand her new abilities while connecting with the family.
This was a very good episode that did a nice job of building off of a lot of the big moments that they established in the pilot episode and sort of creating a world of mythos around Piper and her mysterious abilities. Everything with Benny and Jo was interesting with them continue on a quest to figure out what happened in this mysterious plane crash and how Piper is connected to it all and the recovery of this weird transistor radio that is emanating off of weird frequency when magnets get too close to it I'm very curious to see what's all going to happen there once they uncover whatever this message is that's going out. Then everything with this mystery man that's going around and collecting everything that's in connection to the plane crash or Piper was really well done with how they chose to sort of establishing him especially in the moments of him actually breaking into Jo's house. The only confusing part to me was what was he actually after because in some parts of it and made it seem like he was after Piper but then other moments made it seem like he was after the weird microchip that they collected in the previous episode and if he was after the microchip then why was the weird tracker device tracking Piper. And when he found Piper why didn't he just grabbed her rather then telling her to keep quiet that was really kind of confusing how all that played out. Then the whole ending conflict scene between Jo and this mystery man was very entertaining to see where she use the weird unnatural gravity forces and magnetism to her advantage to eventually subdue him and get him to start to confess everything that's going on. Then the ending of this episode makes me really excited to see what they're going to do next and how more of the truth around Piper is going to eventually be revealed. And just overall this was a really entertaining episode and I'm really excited to see what they're going to do next.

Emergence Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot" Review

After Jo, a police chief, takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident, she soon discovers the girl has no memory of what has happened or who she is. The investigation into the history that led up to the accident -- and questions as to how and why it happened -- draws the woman into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, with the child's identity at the center of it.
This was a really interesting first episode that did a good job of setting up a lot of the mystery around the series and the main girl of Piper. All the mystery around this plane crash and girl was really well done with how the case to show Piper's abilities and how even she is unaware of what's going on. The moments between Jo and Alex were very interesting with how they dealt with bringing Piper into there lives. I do really hope they don't end up having the two of them get back together rather instead they should keep with the idea that they got divorced for a reason. The show also did a really good job with the trailer where they mixed scenes changing around some of Jo's stories in this episode. Then just overall this was a really get first episode and I'm really excited to see where things go.

The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 4 "Pipes" Review

Dr. Neil Melendez and the team have to wade through legal waters when a husband and wife have to make a life-changing decision about their unborn child. Meanwhile, Dr. Shaun Murphy struggles to adjust to his new environment at home and makes a huge step forward with his colleagues.

This was a really interesting and okay episode that did have some great moments to it. I enjoyed all the moments with Dr. Melendez they were very interesting with how he approached this surgery that he had to do where the patient is pregnant but then also has a lot of different sort of heart and blood clotting problems. So they have to figure out how to get this tumor off the unborn baby without killing the mother because of the fact that the mother doesn't want to terminate the pregnancy she's tried for so long to be able to become pregnant that she doesn't want to lose his baby. So how he approached doing the surgery and how all that was done was just really interesting to see. And then all the most with Dr. Murphy were very interesting and great with him understanding his life in San Francisco and him struggling with his apartment that isn't in the best condition and him sort of learning more about how to communicate with people and how to approach people, friends, and stuff was interesting to see because he didn't fully understand. Then I liked the moments with the other doctors trying to understand Dr. Murphy more because he's probably not going anywhere so there's more on how to talk to him and how he reacts to stuff and the doctors try and teach him how to become a better doctor and how to approach people more. Then just overall this was a really interesting and entertaining episode like I said that was so much fun to watch and see what all they did there.

Inhumans Season 1 Episode 4 "Make Way for... Medusa" Review

The search for Black Bolt continues on Earth; Maximus makes bold moves to cement his status as the new ruler of Attilan.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments in it. I really liked the moments with Black Bolt and Dr. Evan Declan and all the experiments that were done on Black Bolt to understand how his powers work and the truth coming out of why Dr. Evan wants Black Bolt. But mostly I really enjoyed the moments when Black Bolt would do all this stuff for Dr. Evan but then constantly remind him that he needs to hold up his end of the deal and help Black Bolt find his wife. Then the moments with Medusa we're really great with her working with this other scientist lady and them being on the run from the cops and just really learning about each other and how things work. Those moments were just really great to sort of understand the character of Medusa more and I really enjoyed when they did make the one joke about her name being related to having a lot of hair and at this moment Medusa doesn't. Then the moments with Gorgon were great with him trying to protect the friends that he's made but them still wanting to stand by his side. The moments with Karnak still aren't my favorite but it was better in this episode because they were mostly about him understanding how things on earth work and him just enjoying being on earth a bit more. Then Maximus's whole plan on wanting to go through terragenesis a second time somewhat of confirms that they are differing from his story where he truly doesn't have any powers and then maybe him going through this process again will give him some which are an interesting deviation from the classic story that I'm kind of okay with if they do do it right. Then the moments with Crystal we're fine with her understanding more of what Earth is like in her gaining some friends and stuff like that. And then just overall this was a really fun and interesting episode and I'm curious to see where they're going to take the story next.

The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 3 "Oliver" Review

Dr. Melendez and Dr. Unger discover their patient isn't being completely honest with them; Dr. Browne must learn to communicate with Dr. Murphy as they race back to the hospital with a donated organ.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments in it. I really enjoyed all the moments between Dr. Brown and Dr. Murphy where they are transporting the organ and Dr. Murphy thinks that something is wrong with it but he just can't quite figure out what it is. That was just really interesting to see him constantly checking over things trying to figure out what he isn't seeing and then once he finally discovered the problem the whole scene with them stopping in the middle of the road to fix it was really great. And then I just really enjoyed the moments with Dr. Brown trying to figure out a way to talk to Dr. Murphy and her discovering that the best way to talk to him is to not ask him questions because he hates questions. So that was just really entertaining to watch her try and phrase things to not be questions. And then I really loved the moments with Dr. Melendez and him questioning the ideas of why hospitals have these rules and regulations when sometimes they might need to be broken in order to save someone's life and him asking the board to give him the one opportunity to do so. Then the moments with Dr. Andrews was great with him figuring out if he wanted to be a presidential sergeant or great sergeant and him just understanding that sometimes there is a difference and just all those moments with him were really great. And just overall this was a really interesting episode that made me actually excited for the show again because there were so many great moments to it.

Inhumans Season 1 Episode 3 "Divide and Conquer" Review

The Inhumans desperately search for each other in the wake of Maximus' coup; they must learn who they can trust on Earth.

This was an interesting and entertaining episode that wasn't the best because it was very similar to the last episode, but this episode did have some really great and highlight moments. And I really enjoyed all the moments with Black Bolt in prison and watching him gain a friend who is also inhuman. And also having this scientist who is also coming for him which I want to know what that is all about because I want to know if the scientist actually knows who he is or if he wants to just research Black Bolt or turn him into a weapon. Then everything around Medusa wasn't the best because it was very reminiscent of Black Bolt from the last episode where she is just doing whatever she wants without really thinking about the consequences. I am really happy that the one scientist lady who is looking into what was going on with the moon finally has made a connection to the rest of the group by the end of this episode with her now being partnered up with Medusa as they continue to try and follow Black Bolt. Then everything with Gorgon was really fun with him finally getting his moment to fight and it was really cool to see some of the inhumans that were brought down to fight him and the main one that they showed off being someone who can move plants around which is very helpful when you're in the jungles of Hawaii. Then the moments with Karnak where not the best and seemed kind of pointless with him giving up on his mission to protect his king because he thinks of himself as broken. Then the moments with Maximus and Crystal were very similar to the last episode where it is Maximus trying to convince Crystal to join his side. I am really happy that Crystal finally managed to get away and is now on earth and I can't wait to see what might happen to her next. Then I really enjoyed the flashback moments in this episode even though they were very similar to the last episode with them showing Black Bolt gaining his abilities and struggling with how he can be king and have these abilities, and Maximus being very present in the background and being very jealous of his brother. I very curious to know if the reason Black Bolt was locked up in that one room where he and Madusa first met because he killed his parents with his voice or was it something else that came later. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and see everything play out.

Inhumans Season 1 Episode 2 "Those Who Would Destroy Us" Review

The Royal Family is separated and scattered in Hawaii, hunted by the royal guard. Black Bolt is arrested while his brother takes over as King.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that did a good job of picking up where the last episode left off and really showed how each of the royal family deals with their situation. The moments with Medusa were really interesting with her trying to find Black Bolt and the loved the moment between the two of them where Medusa asks him for any kind of sign to let her know he's okay and he just has her listen to his heartbeat, to me that was just a perfect moment for the two of them. Then I really enjoyed all the moments with Gorgon and him deciding that he is not just going to sit around and wait and see what will happen to him instead he is going to stand his ground and fight whoever comes for him. And him making friends with these random beachgoers was really fun to see. Then all the moments with Karnak were really interesting with him struggling through the jungle trying to find Black Bolt but he has a really bad concussion that is messing with his skills. And I'm really curious to know if they gave Inhuman abilities to Karnak because in the comics he refused to gain powers and instead he trained himself in these skills, but in this show, it really seems like there push more than his tactical foresight is a special ability and not a skill. And then with that I'm very curious as to what they are doing with Maximus because they really seem to be pushing on the idea that he is just a human and that the Mist turned him human, while in the comics everyone believed that until he took over and started showing his powers so I want to know if they are going to stick with the human side of him or when are they going to show his powers. Then all the moments with Crystal where alright with Maximus trying to get her to tell the public that he is king now. Then I liked the moment with Maximus going into the mines and trying to get the lower classes on his side. Then the moments with Black Bolt were really fun and really interesting with him just not understanding how he should behave on Earth and it causing a lot of trouble for him. It was a little annoying how when Black Bolt does get arrested how they keep trying to push him to talk and then when his started signing to him they just seem to ignore that and think that he is a jerk for not talking but at least he is working with them. And just overall this was a really interesting and entertaining episode and I'm really curious to see what will happen next.

The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 2 "Mount Rushmore" Review

Dr. Shaun Murphy's attention to detail complicates his first day; Dr. Claire Browne learns a valuable lesson about honesty when confronted with a difficult diagnosis for her patient.

This was a really entertaining and interesting episode that was really dedicated to introducing Shaun to the world of surgery and the ER. It was really fun how they had Shaun not realizing that what he was doing was supposed to be really terrible work he just saw it as work that he had to get it done. And it was really interesting how they chose to approach everything with Shawn not wanting to let people go unless he thought that they were fully healthy and he kind of had to go and learn the lesson that you can't prevent every illness for happening you only are supposed to like treat them for right now. And then that was interesting how for the most part that rang true but they did have one person in this episode where Shaun's extra precautious look at everyone actually end up saving her. And it was a little sad and a little disappointing how they had Shaun sort of outcast from the rest of the group because the doctor didn't want him on the team so they decided to sort of sideline him. And then it was disappointing how when Shaun did have a good idea that ends up savings or the main patient one of the other doctors took credit for it. The storyline that followed that moment was also really interesting where the two doctors are talking and one says how taking credit for Shaun's idea is the same as the other doctor taking credit for a successful surgery that she didn't even want to do on the patient. It is also really interesting who is on Shaun's side and who isn't because some are just using Shaun for there own gain and other actually care. Then all the flashback moments were really interesting with seeing more of how Shaun grew up, and the ending flashback scene was sad with Shaun holding on to his dying brother. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that did have some great moments to it.

Inhumans Season 1 Episode 1 "Behold... The Inhumans" Review

Tensions arise between the members of the Attillan royal family.

This was a really entertaining and interesting episode that I knew going int this episode there wasn't going to be a lot to it because the Inhumans are a very complicated storyline to understand, so I knew going in this at least the first few episodes would just be dedicated to introducing everything. I did enjoy how they chose to show off a bit of each of the members of the royal family, but it was a little disappointing that all the focus seemed to mostly be on Balck bolt, Medusa, and Maximus. So that was a little disappointing that they all didn't get a spot in the light especially Crystal because in my opinion out of all them she is one of the most powerful because she can control all four elements, and yes they did show off her using a bit of ice and had her charging up her fire but overall she really didn't use her powers it was just small things. Then I liked that they did do a bit of explaining for the Terrigenesis side of things even though they did it a bit different then what Agents of SHIELD have done for the Terrigenesis. Because in SHIELD when going through Terrigenesis you get locked up in this rock shell for a while and then hatch, while here you get covered by the mist for a bit and then instantly have your powers. So it was a bit different but maybe that could be because the inhumans understand it a bit more so maybe they evolved the whole prosses a bit more. And yes I can understand some peoples disagreements with this whole series because it is not the best show out there and for putting it on the theater screen it just isn't a show that would transfer over like that very well. Then it was interesting how they decided to do the whole relationship between Maximus and Medusa because they did show that there was something there but it kind of wasn't the best because it left Maximus seeming really creepy and it was disappointing because they kind of made it like that was his only personality trait and there is so much more to the character than being a creep. Then the ending of this episode was really kind of weird and rushed because it was dedicated to getting most of the royal family off of Attillan and onto earth, and just who they chose to send away when was just weird. And it felt rushed because to start it all Maximus was kind of like I'll just take over now for no reason. And it was weird how Maximus apparently had people working for him down on earth when earlier it seemed like he knew nothing about earth. But I can kind of understand all of it from it being a midpoint because in the theater this episode was shown alongside the second episode so this ending was just the middle of the whole two-hour thing. Then the part with Medusa at the end was interesting and great if they do use it right in the next episode where there is a thing to her powers where she can still control her hair for a short time after it had been cut, so maybe she can still control her hair from earth. And just overall this was a really entertaining first episode and I'm curious to see where they will go from here.

The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 1 "Burnt Food" Review

The president of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital pleads his case to the reluctant board of directors to allow a young doctor with savant syndrome and autism onto their surgical staff.

This was a really entertaining and interesting first episode that did a good job of introducing a lot of the main players in the show as well as showing what life is like for this doctor. It was interesting to see how he interacted with the world and we were shown a bit about how he saw things and how people sort of saw him. Which one scene was my favorite to show how the world treated him where he shows up at the hospital with this boy whose life he just saved and he is telling all the other doctors what he thinks they should do next and they just completely ignore him. And that just really amazed me how they did all that different stuff with this character and how well it was all portrayed with how everyone sort of acted around him and how they talked to him. I also really enjoyed the scene where the doctor is sitting waiting to learn about his future at the hospital and one of the doctors who completely ignored him before came up to him and was really friendly and he ended up asking her which side is the truth is she him friend or not, and just seeing that disconnect between him and others was just really well done. I also really enjoyed all the flashback scenes that help to set up how he got into the position he is in now where it showed things like the fact that he came from a very abusive how that didn't know what to do with him. I also really enjoyed what they did with showing how his mind worked where they did the almost Sherlock thing where they had all these notes and diagrams popping up around him as he thinks through things. And just overall this was a very good first episode and I can't wait to see where they will go from here.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 22 "World's End" Review

With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world.

This was a really entertaining and great episode that did an amazing job at wrapping everything up from this season as well as setting things up for the next season. I really liked how they brought Ghost Rider back in this episode and actually gave him a reason for being there which is that he is truly the only person who can physically hurt Aida and he is on a quest to bring down Aida and the Darkhold once and for all. It was really interesting how Aida's team of LMD's tried to carry through with their plans to make the public afraid of inhumans and for the most part they succeeded, but they forgot the Darkhold giving the agents more power. I did really like the scene where Aida and found Simmons and Fitz and asks Fitz to give a reason as to why she shouldn't kill Simmons, that whole scene was really interesting especially when the truth came out as to what was really going on. Then the Ghost Rider jumping inside of Coulson was a really cool way to end Aida but it also makes me curious as to why the Rider chose him because the Ghost Rider only picks people who have darkness inside of them so what is Coulson hiding. All the moments with Mack and Yo-yo inside of the Framework was great with Mack realizing that the Framework in falling apart around him but he still doesn't want to leave his daughter. I really loved the scene where Mack brings up how he won't leave because the only person he cares about is sitting right there with him and he was talking about his daughter and then Yo-yo says the same thing but she is talking about Mack. And then the ending for Radcliff was really great with him having this whole speech about understanding all the mistakes he made and his is all alone on the beach and his speech is cut off because he disappears out of existence and it was just really cool to have that moment of silence that followed him disappearing. And just overall this was a really great season finale and I can't wait to see where they will go next especially with the Inhuman royal family being introduced.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 21 "The Return" Review

Coulson and the team's victory in the Framework are short-lived, as an even deadlier enemy looms against them all.

This was a really interesting episode that was entertaining to watch and see how everything played out and see what direction they were going to take the story.I was really interesting with what they did with Aida and her inhuman abilities. I did like how they had her struggling to understand this rush of new emotions she was feeling especially when these new emotions became negative when things she didn't want started to happen to her. I especially liked when the Russian made the comparison to Aida acting like a toddler in her understanding that the world doesn't think like she does and she won't always get what she wants. Then I forgot that the SHIELD headquarters got blown up in the escape to get into the framework, but it was cool to see the team return to this rubble of a base. Then it was interesting that the team was now wanted criminals by the government and Mace's body had been found and the government thinks Quake killed him. The Russian having an almost unlimited amount of bodies is a very interesting idea and I'm very curious to see who is going to eventually find the central brain and destroy it. And just overall this was a really great episode and I'm so excited to see what will happen next especially now that Ghost Rider has returned.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 20 "Farewell, Cruel World!" Review

The clock is ticking for Daisy and Simmons to get the team out of the Framework, but not everyone is ready and willing to leave.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments to it. I really liked that this episode ending with almost everyone out of the framework because while the episodes inside the framework were great and did a great job with a brand new idea it was getting a little tiresome to see Daisy and Simons wondering around trying to convince everyone of the truth. It was really interesting how they got everyone to the backdoor by sending everyone in a team out on a "mission" but then also having Fitz traveling after them on a mission to kill Simons. And I really love that Radcliff got the chance to save the day and got the chance to do something to attempt to make up for all the mistakes he made. The ending with Aida was a little confusing because she's human now but also has some sort of weird teleportation powers or something that wasn't brought up at all that she was giving herself powers. I did really like the parts in this episode where they finally went back to the agents of the plane that Daisy and Simons are on and those agents just struggling to keep everything going while they are slowly running out of power because the machine the Daisy and Simons are hooked up to is taking up all the power. I really kind of hope that Fitz gets to be the hero in some kind of way to try and make up for all the bad things he did inside of the framework. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 19 "All the Madame's Men" Review

Daisy teams up with an unlikely partner; Aida prepares to put her endgame into effect.

This was a really interesting and great episode that finally reviled all of what Aida has planned. I loved all the scenes with Daisy and May running around trying not to be caught by Hydra. All the parts with Aida in this episode were really interesting with her getting hurt in the framework and has to leave everything up to Fitz, And outside of the framework the moments where she is working through her evil plan were so great. I love how pretty much everyone on the team is back together besides Fitz and most of them remember something from the real world. I really like the plan they seem to have to stop Hydra by turning all the people on Hydra rather than try and secretly take them down themselves. And Aida's whole plan to make this machine that makes her human sounds really cool but all I can think about is how that is a really dumb idea because if she is human the SHIELD can just kill her a lot easier. I really want to know what this backdoor is that will help them escape from the framework. And just overall this was a really great episode and I'm so excited to see what will happen next.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 18 "No Regrets" Review

The truth behind Fitz's turn threatens to bring down all of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This was a really great episode and interesting episode that was so entertaining to watch how everything turned out. I like that Simmons told Mace and Ward about how she is from outside the framework and how everything around them is technically made up. It was a little annoying how after she told them Ward kept making fun of her for caring about people she knew were fake. The truth being reviled about what made Fitz turn evil was kind of interesting because it was the fact that he had his dad around. So I'm wondering if maybe in his storyline it flipped so that his mother wasn't around instead of his father and that is what made him less of a caring person. I really liked May in this episode and how they decided to bring her to the side of everyone else by having her see some of the inhumans being heroes instead of a terrorist, and I'm so curious to see what they will do with her next. It was really kind of cool how they brought Trip back in this episode and that was something I wasn't expecting. And just overall this was a really entertaining and exciting episode and I'm so curious to see what is going to happen next.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 17 "Identity and Change" Review

As Daisy and Simmons struggle to discover an escape route to the real world, the identity of the Inhuman leader of the Resistance is revealed.

This was a really great and interesting episode to watch how everything played out and who truly ended up on which side. I liked how they introduced Mack in this episode with him sort of being on his own and forced into the problems that everyone else is in the middle of. I also really liked how Adia managed to convince Fitz that they are in the real world and everyone else who is bothering them are from an alternate universe that wants to kill them all. The moments with Radcliff were great with him trying, to tell the truth to Fitz and just couldn't get through to him. All the moments with Daisy were really interesting with her running around trying to not get caught by Hydra with all the terrible things she was doing. The moments with Colson and Simmons were really great with Colson still trying to figure out what is real in his life and what isn't. Then bringing Mace back into the mix is really great and I kind of want to know if in this reality Mace might actually have inhuman abilities. And just overall this was a really interesting and entertaining episode and I can't wait to see what happened next.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 16 "What If..." Review

Daisy and Simmons uncover secrets and lies in a world gone mad. With Hydra in control, they are our only hope to save everyone.

This was a really interesting and great episode that going into it I really didn't know what to expect and it was so entertaining to watch. I was wondering what they were going to do with Simmons since in the last episode they showed her as dead in the framework. I was really interesting how everyone fit into this framework world and how each of them reacted when confronted by either Daisy or Simmons. All the Simmons parts were really great with her wandering around seeming like a crazy person and getting into a whole bunch of trouble because of it. I'm curious to know why in this perfect world for everyone the world is run by Hydra and is all evil, why did Aida think that was the best option. I'm still not all that happy about the idea of Ward being back because I really just want his character to die and finally stay dead, the actor who plays him is really great but it is annoying that every season they have to find some way to bring him back into things. I really like the idea that Aida is in control both inside and outside the mainframe and I can't wait to see how that will all play out. The ending of this episode was really great with Daisy getting one of the tea members remember who they are. And just overall this was a really entertaining episode and I can't wait to see what they will do next.

Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 15 "A Wondrous Place" Review

Hook finds himself trapped in another realm and races to get back to Emma; Regina and Snow try to take Emma's mind off from Hook's disappearance; Jasmine befriends Ariel.

This was a really great episode that was so entertaining and fun to watch. This episode was the Aladdin and Jasmine episode that I have been waiting for since the beginning of the season and it took a little over half the season to actually get to this episode. I really liked that they brought Ariel back in this episode and it was really interesting how they used her. I really liked all the moments in the past in Agrabah and Jasmine is trying to find a way to get out of  marrying Jafar by trying to find another hero to replace the disappeared Aladdin. And I loved how they brought Hook into the Aladdin Jasmine story with him helping them find Jafar and Agrabah. The Moments back in Storybrooke were okay but really kind of felt thrown in there to give the main characters some screen time. I would have much more preferred to just see the scenes where Emma is packing up all of Hooks things and the scene where Emma finds the shellphone and hears hooks message and that is it. But I do have to say overall this was a really entertaining and fun episode to watch.

Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 14 "Page 23" Review

Believing there isn't room in Storybrooke for both her and Regina, the Evil Queen sets out to eliminate her other half. Hook, determined to make things work with Emma, turns to his old friend Captain Nemo for advice, but Gideon torpedoes the plan before he's able to set things right.

This was such a boring and pointless episode that was really unneeded. Because they brought back the Evil Queen at the end of the last episode just to completely get rid of her in this episode. With that, I'm very happy that they got rid of Robin as well because that was another pointless story line. And how they chose to get rid of the Queen is just why? Because I would have been fine if they just killed her or had her be absorbed back into Regina those would have been fine ideas but going and sending her away to have her own happy ending is just why? I did like how they chose to show Emma finding out about Hooks secret because it was kind of simple and not just someone else figuring it out. And I really liked that they brought Nemo back into the mix to help Hook out. The ending for Hook was kind of surprising and I wonder how that might affect the future because in Emma's vision Hook was there so if he is not maybe that will help change the future. And just overall this was not the greatest of episodes and kind of a pointless one.

Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 13 "Ill-Boding Patterns" Review

When Gideon resumes his mission to kill Emma, Mr. Gold steps in to ensure the use of dark magic doesn't poison his son; Hook learns Emma has a secret; Beowulf targets Rumplestiltskin.

This was a really interesting episode that was entertaining to watch but not really all that exciting. I really liked how most of this episode focused on Rumple and getting to know a bit more of his back story and him helping out Gideon. I loved the introduction of Beowulf in this episode because his story was one of the few books in school I actually enjoyed reading and I was very interested to see what they would do with his story. I found it a little weird how no one in the village seemed to know that Rumple was the dark one until Beowulf brought it up. And I really liked what they did with Baelfire and him using the dagger to help his father make decisions. The parts about Gideon repairing the sword was interesting with all the things he had to do to fix it. But the idea of Rumple darkening his heart to make sure Gideon never has to darken his heart seems a little too weird and confusing for me to accept it as a reasonable solution. Then the moments with Hook in this episode were great with him struggling on whether or not he should tell Emma the truth about David's father. And with how this episode ended I wonder what will happen to him in the future when the truth does come out. And just overall this was a really interesting episode but it was also a little boring of one.
