Code Black Season 2 Episode 5 "Landslide" Review

The doctors treat victims who were caught in a landslide; the entire ER is put at risk when children with measles are brought in.

This was a really interesting episode that had a lot of chaos to it that at first, I had no idea what they were going to do, but they managed to keep everything under control. All of the camper kids were a little annoying with how no one in that group seemed to listen to each other, and up until the end of this episode, it really didn't seem like that group was getting anywhere. I did really love the line between Angus and Leanne in on of these scenes where she talks about being a parent and sort of telling Angus that he is in similar circumstances when it comes to his feelings with Mike. The victims of the mudslide where a little weird because the two main peoples emotions seemed to be polar opposites of each other. Then when the girl kept saying that the guy murdered her fiancĂ© I thought there would be a bit more behind that claim but really it was just her emotions making her jump to conclusions. Then the ending where the fiancĂ© turns out to still be alive I don't really care for because I would much rather the two forgive each other instead of having the third come in and clear things up. Then I really want to know what is going on with Dr. Guthrie because I have my guesses but I really want to hear the truth. I really loved the ending between Angus and Mario because it was so sweet and necessary for both of their characters. Overall I really loved this episode and it was a really enjoyable watch.

Arrow Season 5 Episode 5 "Human Target" Review

Oliver must turn to the Human Target for help when one of his new recruits is captured by Tobias Church.

This was a really great and interesting episode that seemed a little long and weird at points but was very entertaining to watch. I liked all the scenes with the team going out and looking for clues to try and find Rene. It was a little weird to me how quickly Curtis seemed to be okay again after being stabbed in the back because they did talk about him being in pain but it was never really shown. All the interrogation moments with Church were really great to see Rene holding up his end of staying strong for the most part. Then it was really cool to see that there was a connection between Church and Prometheus to they weren't both targeting the Green Arrow at the same time just out of sheer coincidence. Then I really loved the scenes with John talking to Rene about his beating and showing that they have had similar events, it was great to bring John back for more than just to have him as Spartin again. I don't really know how I feel about having the reporter back and it seems they are making her a more frequent character which I don't really care for, but it will kind of be cool to see how everyone reacts when they find out about Oliver not really being on the island for the full six years. I really hope that the episodes to come will show a bit more of Prometheus not that Church is out of the picture because I really can't wait to see what they will do with him because there are so many different directions they could take his story, and I really want to see what they will do. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait to see more.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 6 "The Good Samaritan" Review

The shocking origin story of Robbie's transition into Ghost Rider is revealed as the lives of Coulson and the team hang in the balance.

This was a really great episode that to me really took all the stuff that has been building up in the part episodes and it took it all to the next level. I was a little confused when the director showed up demanding for Daisy and Robbie because before that he seemed too nice and up for anything so to see him turn and be this strong will demanding director it was a little shocking. But it was also so great to see that this guy could actually be a really great director because he can take charge of a situation when he needs to. but with that being said what exactly did he do to Simmions, because he just kind of sent her off with little to no explanation. Then all the moments when the team on board the plane trying to talk about Daisy and Robbie but still keep it secret was really funny with how they faced things here and there. Robbie's whole story of what really happened that night was really great because I loved seeing them showing the origin story but also not overdoing it in one way or another they just kept to the basics and left it there. The twist of who the actual bad guy was in this episode I was not expecting and I really can't wait to see how all that will play out when the show comes back in a few weeks.

The Flash Season 3 Episode 5 "Monster" Review

Caitlin visits her mother to help her understand her growing meta-human powers, while Barry tries to convince Julian to let him help investigate a new meta-human attacking Central City.

This was a very interesting episode that had some parts to it that I wasn't expecting and with that, I was pleasantly surprised by some of the story plots they decided to take. I really liked the line when Barry first runs into the monster and Cisco wants him to describe it and all Barry can say is that it is a monster, I found that kind of funny and very original Flash comics campy kind of way. All the parts with Joe in this episode and Iris trying to convince him that it is okay for him to date felt like a bunch of pointless scenes in this episode, and kind of like another story plot that they wanted in this episode but they just couldn't fit it in. And with that Joe and Iris in this episode were really kind of thrown in there here and there without any real reason behind it what so ever. I really like the new Wells because he is so different from the others and really brings a new aspect to the team, but he also has this such high creepiness about him that he has to be up to something not good. Then I really liked all the moments with Julian and having this episode be somewhat about him and figuring out what he is truly all about. I thought that was a really interesting idea they decided to go with and the way they went about doing it was very well organized and really fun to watch. The twist ending of who the actual villain was in this episode I didn't really care for, but it did kind of go to show that not all the bad guy in Central City have to be meta-humans. All the parts with Caitlin in this episode were also really interesting with the fact you finally got introduced to a bit of her past by meeting her mother and really seeing the disconnect they have with each other. I really like what they are doing with Caitlin to as she is becoming Killer Frost because it is very similar to the comics where the more she uses her abilities the colder her temperature get until it gets to the point of where she starts freezing in her own body and need other to help her. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait to see more.

Scorpion Season 3 Episode 6 "Bat Poop Crazy" Review

Team Scorpion explores a deep cave system in an effort to prevent a bat population from harming the North American ecosystem; the team dons Halloween costumes for Walter's impending immigration inspection.

This is a really great and kinda funny episode that I really enjoyed watching. I really enjoyed the  whole Holloween theme around this episode both with the team getting ready for just Halloween in general as well as trying to prove that Happy and Walter are a couple by having them celebrate a holiday together. It was a little weird at the beginning where the team going farther and farther into the cave looking for the zoologist even though they knew that the zoologists would have met up with them already they just kept going. That house a really liked all the moment where they make references to different horror movies that Sylvester knows and you kinda get to see his reaction because of that. I especially like the reference to The Birds and Sylvester makes a comment that he originally washed it because he thought it was a movie on ornithology, that was a really funny moment to me. Then I also really enjoyed all the moments with Toby and the guy who had rabies and hope he does hatching the deal with all hallucination and then having them actually find the right rabies shot for the that was just a lot of really funny moments and great lines within that scene. Then I really liked all the scenes with Happy and her having the take care Ralph and just watching some of her maternal instincts start to kick in as one thing starts to go wrong after another with Ralph and all the sugar that he's eaten. Although scenes had a lot of really funny moments to them to that I absolutely enjoyed watching. Overall this was a really great episode that had so many funny moments to it that I really enjoyed.

Gotham Season 3 Episode 7 "Red Queen" Review

After coming in contact with a substance by the hand of Mad Hatter, Jim Gordon gets led on a psychedelic trip and must confront his past, present and future. Meanwhile, Penguin struggles with Nygma's new relationship.

This is was a really great and really interesting episode that had a lot to it I wasn't expecting. I really like the Mad Hatter's whole plan that in the last episode he took care of Gordon to some extent and now his plan the next day get rid of all Gotham. And I really enjoyed the scene where the Mad Hatter at the shop getting all the stuff to make Alice's blood more potent and he finds this other dust that just happens have the perfect name or his whole theme. I was expecting the Mad Hatter's whole plan to set this virus all over Gotham was going to be more along the lines of what happened with the Viper drug from season one, but the way that he actually chose to go about it I find very interesting where he decided like just target the rich and powerful. And then within that same scene, I really like that Penguin met the Court of Owls kind of, didn't know it. Then the whole idea of taking Gordon off the case unless he wanted to be a police officer I thought was a very interesting way of going about doing this episode where they finally kind of have Gordon separated from everyone else so no one's really there to help him when he needs help and he's not really there to help the GCPD also. All the scenes where Gordon is hallucinating were very interesting with how they were all done. I really liked how they were all stylized, but then what was actually going on in those moments was kind of confusing and hard to follow, but I still got the general idea of it all. Then I enjoyed the moments between Penguin and Nygma where Penguins sort of finally figures out that Nygma might not feel the same way about him, and then Penguin sets out to destroy Nygma's newest relationship. Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I'm very happy with how the episode ended all the characters.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 4 "Survivors" Review

Supergirl tries to stop an alien fight club run by Roulette, while Hank gets to know M'Gann.

This was a really interesting episode that took some steps to it that I wasn't expecting but it still was a really great episode that I enjoyed watching. I really liked the character of Roulette her style and tattoo was really well done as well as the acting job of her, but everyone around her was a little confusing with how thy seemed to agree with everything she says and never questions it.   I really like the scenes with Winn and Mon-El and I'm going through all this training to see what Mon-El's abilities are now that he's on earth and just seeing how different he is compared to Kara. And then the scene one they finally go out in public together is also really fun with how just everything goes wrong and it is sort of all blamed on Winn it was just really funny to see how everything just went. Then the actual fighting scenes at the fight club were really kinda cool for what they did show which was not as much as I was expecting. Then all the scenes with Hank and Miss Martian were kind of weird with how they went about doing things and how they seem to know each other but not really know each other. But the actual fight scene between the two of them was really cool, but with how it ended where they just kind of forgave each other was kinda confusing and kinda came out of nowhere in my opinion. But then ending where we found out the truth about Miss Martian I was not expecting it all and I kinda can't wait to see how that will play out in the future. Then I really like all the scenes where Kara's at her job and her job somewhat becomes similar to Superman's where most of her resources are coming from herself but she reports them as coming from Supergirl, I thought that was really funny kinda clever thing to put in there. Then all the scenes with Alex and Maggie were kind of cool but also kind of pointless for what else was in this episode. Overall I have say though that I really enjoyed this episode and I can't wait to see more.
