The Flash Season 3 Episode 21 "Cause and Effect" Review
Barry takes desperate measures to stop Savitar, while H.R. keeps pressuring Tracy Brand to set a trap for Savitar and Killer Frost has an interesting proposal.
This was a really great and kind of cute episode that had a lot of really entertaining moments in it. I liked all the different problems the team ran into because Barry lost his memory and everyone has to hand hold him through almost everything, which in almost every other situation that would have been really annoying but somehow they styled this episode so it wasn't annoying. I loved the whole court scene where Barry had to be a witness to a case he couldn't remember and Cisco and Julian had to help him through things. Which if Julian remembered everything why wasn't he the one testifying since he is the senior investigator. I liked seeing this more happy and positive Barry compared to the sadder stressed Barry we have seen in this season it reminded me much of the Barry from the first season. I also found it interesting how because Barry forgot everything so did Savitar that seemed a little weird to me because shouldn't that little bit of difference in time between Barry and Savitar stop that and just have it be a memory of Savitar's that at this point in his life he forgot everything. I did like Killer Frost showing up to help team flash get Barry's memories back that was interesting to see Cisco try and get Catlin's heart beating again by having her remember all the good times she had with Cisco. Then the ending was really great with everything getting fixed and back to normal. And just overall this was a really great episode that was a lot of fun to watch.
