Supergirl Season 2 Episode 21 "Resist" Review

Supergirl struggles to decide with whether or not to obey the President's orders regarding Rhea's latest actions. Meanwhile, Cat Grant returns to National City.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really fun moments in it. I really liked that they finally came out and showed that the president is an alien and had everyone react to that but also keeping it a secret from the rest of the public. And I really liked that tugs that Kara had to deal with because she knew blowing up the ship Rhea is on is the best option but in doing that she is killing her best friend and her love. I also liked how they brought Cadmus back in this episode with them having their own agenda to save Lena. But still, it was kind of cool to see Cadmus and supergirl working together to achieve the same mission. I loved the conversation between Kara and Lilian about telling Lena the truth about Kara being supergirl and how both sides had their reasons to not tell her because they both knew there would be a big blow out when the truth did come out and Lilian thinks that will be the one opportunity to finally get Lena on her side. Then I liked how the team was kind of split up with Guardian on the ground protecting the people from the alien invasion, Maggie and Alex setting up the laser to destroy all the ships, and supergirl going and trying to save her friends before the ship is destroyed. I loved how they brought Cat back into the mix with her just sort of popping back into the mix. And I loved that she was around to be the voice of guidance for supergirl as well as the citizens of National City. And just overall this was a really great and fun episode and I'm so excited for the finale with superman coming in to join the fight.
