Gotham Season 3 Episode 18 "Light the Wick" Review

Gordon tracks down the weapon the Court of Owls intend to use for the destruction of Gotham; Kathryn and Temple Shaman tell Bruce about their next move; Ivy offers Selina help.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that was a little hard to follow but it was still really great. All the parts with Gordon and the Court of Owls were really interesting with the Court wanting Gordon to prove that he is loyal to them when they have a lot of evidence points overwise. So it was cool when they did the test run on the Alice Tetch virus and they had Gordon be the one to deploy the weapon on the first group of people and they did it to see if he would follow their orders. Then it was interesting to watch Penguin on his quest to track down Nygma and he knows Gordon was the last one to see him alive so Penguin and his group end up having to help Gordon in order to get information on where to find Nygma. Then Ivy was pretty cool with them showing more of her knowledge of plants helping her to save Selina. And it was great to see that the two of them are still really great friends even if they weren't on the best footing last time they saw each other. Then the moments with Bruce were interesting with them focusing on a different memory in Bruce's life all in the quest to make him the guardian of Gotham. And I loved that they focused on a different memory instead of the classic memory of watching his parents die, instead they focused on the moment that he truly first felt alone and angry which was at his parents funeral and he got upset because everyone there was focused on him being an orphan and not on the fact that his parents were murdered and the killer was still out there. And the just overall this was a really interesting and great episode to watch and I'm curious to see what will happen to everyone next.
