Arrow Season 5 Episode 23 "Lian Yu" Review
Oliver assembles a group of unlikely allies - Slade, Nyssa, Merlyn, and Digger Harkness - to engage in an epic battle against Chase and his army.
This was a really entertaining episode that was a really great season finale episode that is a nice job of wrapping everything up from this season as will as introduce some new problems for the next season. I really enjoyed the team up of all these kind of random people from Oliver's life helping him out to save his family and friends. The only one that was kind of a problem and a little confusing was Digger Harkness because he kind of came out of nowhere and all the sudden switched to working with Adrian to then just kind of disappearing partway through this episode, so it really kind of felt like they wanted him in this episode but didn't know what to do with him. It was really interesting how they chose to split up team arrow into a few different spots and it was interesting to watch how Oliver progressed from point A, to point B, to point C. Then the small storyline between Thea and Merlyn in this episode was kind of interesting with Thea finally settling on that fact that she does have some connection to Merlyn with how much he has helped her grow as a character and now with the idea that he might be gone she is feeling a little heartbroken about it, even though I don't think he is really dead because they can't just kill off a character like him. Then I really loved how they had these little personal battles with the two people you would like to see face each other do so it was Oliver vs Adrian, Thalia vs Nyssa, and Black Canary vs Black Siren. And it was really great to see how each of those little fights turned out and I loved when Quinten actually referred to Dinah as the Black Canary. Then Adrian's whole plan of how he thought everything was going to work out was really kind of far fetched that again brought up one of the questions I asked in the last review which was how many times did Arien sneak off to Lian Yu because to fill out everything they way it was he had to have made several trips and how did no one notice that. But it was interesting with how Adrian stuck to his plan of trying to prove Oliver is a killer and will always be a killer and when Oliver didn't agree with that plan Adrian had to and push him a little further by bringing up the fact that he killed Oliver's son. And with that, I loved how SladeAnd the rest of the team reacted to the idea that Oliver son might be dead but Oliver refused to believe that. Adrian's secret other plan was interesting with him laying bombs all through Lian Yu and Adrian making himself the detonator so if he dies Lian Yu explodes. Which seemed a little weird how he made himself the detonator instead of having a button because how would that ever really happen. The whole final scene between Oliver and Adrian was really great with Oliver making the decision of saving Willam or all of his friends. I am a little angry that when it came down to is Adrian is still dead even though Oliver wasn't the one who killed him. And with how this episode ended I'm curious and excited to see what will happen next season. And I do think that everyone on the island is still alive after it exploded because I think Oliver gave Slade some kind of code word when Oliver told Felicity to tell Slade to take them to an ARGUS dock I feel like that was some kind of code word that made Slade bring them to some kind of safe bunker and their all okay. And just overall this was a really great season finale episode And I'm so excited to see what they are going to do next season.
The Flash Season 3 Episode 23 "Finish Line" Review
With nothing left to lose, Barry takes on Savitar in an epic conclusion.
This was an entertaining and really great episode that was a nice season finale episode that did a great job at wrapping everything up from the season as well as introduce some things for the next season. And I really love how they went about saving Iris and I really love that it didn't involve things like time travel but instead it was set up as a plan made by some of the team and left Barry out of it, but with that I'm a little sad who ended up dying in place of Iris. It was really interesting how Iris not dying affected Savitar. I didn't like the whole scene where for some reason the team tried to become friends with Savitar, I don't get it because I don't understand how that would ever work out and it really seemed like kind of a weird moment in this episode. It was interesting to see how Savitar interacted with Iris because deep down inside of him Savitar is still Barry and he still loves Iris so it was interesting to see him try and not feel those feeling he has for her. Then the scenes where they had Cisco and Killer Frost working to make this device that could split Savitar all through time were really interesting but I wonder how Savitar ever thought Cisco would actually make a device that would actually work for him. Then the moments with Killer Frost were really great with them making this cure that could turn her back to Caitlin and instead of just knocking Killer Frost out and giving the cure to her they gave her a choice to take the cure or not. And through giving her that choice she kind of developed more as a character and ended up somewhere in-between Caitlin and Killer Frost. And I'm very curious to see what they will do with her in the next season and if she might because almost a hero where she wouldn't necessarily become a part of team flash again but she will show up to help out when they need her. Then the ending was really interesting with them trying to go back to normal but the team is still suffering from the events of what happened and the was almost really great to see And at the very last moment everything kind of turned on its head and Barry was forced to make a choice and I'm curious to see where that choice might case next season and how Barry might get out of that situation I can't wait to see. So overall this was a really amazing and great season finale episode and I can't wait to see what they are going to do next season.
Gotham Season 3 Episode 19 "All Will Be Judged" Review
Temple Shaman takes Bruce to the next phase of his training; Gordon and Bullock discover a crystal owl that carries the biggest secrets of Gotham's underworld; Nygma and Penguin must work together to get out of a tricky situation.
And this was a really interesting episode that wasn't the most like exciting of episodes but it still had some really entertaining and really kind of interesting and great moments in it. And I did really enjoy all the things with Gordon and Bullock now going around trying to stop the Court of Owls but having a hard time with it because the fact that the Court of Owls knows that Gordon betrayed them and it's pretty much them trying to come after and kill Gordon, so they're trying to go bringing down the court in a very different way and just all that was really interesting to see. Especially with them bringing back their old commissioner who is much more looking like the Judge and filling in for not quite that character but a very similar sort of person to that character of the villain of the Judge and that was interesting to see him like living his life as a crazy person but not understanding that he is sick and crazy he thinks he's a clear minded person and that was interesting to see. I liked him going through that hold court case actually with Gordon and that whole scene of him actually claiming Gordon as guilty for everything he's done was interesting to see and just to see they're old commissioner in his duties as being the Judge and trying to kill Gordon and cut off his head because of everything he's done interesting kind of exciting to see. And then I really enjoyed the scene where Gordon goes and finally bring in the head Lady of the Court of Owls that I can't remember her name, but they bring her in and are questioning her and stuff and Alfred is just outside the door because he's gone to them knowing now that Bruce is missing. It was interesting how Alfred has his own agenda trying to get Bruce back from the court, and the three of them trying to work against the Court of Owls was interesting to see with each of them trying to approach the situation in different ways. Then the scenes with Penguin and Nygma were okay but they definitely one of the weaker parts in this episode. Because it was mostly just them bickering back and forth with each other for a while until they're like "okay I guess we have to work together to get out of this," and then essentially they escaped without really showing fully how they did it just showed like the first step of how they got out. I'm interested more to see once like they're five hours that they agreed upon is up and they finally can go back to try and kill each other I'm excited to see what's going to happen there. Then the moments with Bruce in this episode were entertaining with them going back to the memory of his parent's death and the Shaman helping his to get past the emotions thereby having his anger turn towards the Court and the part they played in his parent's death and no longer at the fact that they died. With that, I'm curious to see what the Shaman has planned for Burce because he kind of turned Bruce into an emotionless shell and in the preview he had Bruce working with the Court so I'm curious to see what will happen there. Anf just overall this was a really entertaining episode but it was more of an episode to set up what is going to happen next.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 22 "Nevertheless, She Persisted" Review
Supergirl challenges Rhea to battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Superman returns and Cat Grant offers Supergirl some sage advice.
This was a really great and entertaining episode that did a really good job for a season finale at wrapping everything up from the season and bringing everything in from start to end. I loved the beginning fight scene between Supergirl and Superman especially with the introduction of silver kryptonite that makes the person affected see their worse enemy so Superman thought he was fighting Zod instead of Supergirl. All the preparation for the fight between Rhea and Supergirl was very interesting to see all of what Kara did to try and make it a fair fight and set things up just in case she lost. But with that, it was a little annoying that neither side of the fight stuck to the rules about not proceeding with their attacks until the fight was over. The moments between Lena and Lillian were very interesting with Lena still hating her mother and her mother starting to believe that maybe Lena is the better candidate to help in her quest to destroy any alien life over Lex. But I did like how when Lena was given the weapon that could destroy Supergirl and Superman she decided to change it so that it could work for there current fight where the machine would case out into the atmosphere a high amount of lead instead of kryptonite. I was interesting how they had an underlining choice that Kara had to make where she had to choose between saving the people of earth or the man she loves Mon-El. Then the ending was really great with Kara still working through her heartbreak but still wanting to stick to her underlining instinct to go out and be Supergirl. And just overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait to see what the next season might bring especially with what the ending teased with an evil Kryptonian living on earth all these years like Clark.

Arrow Season 5 Episode 22 "Missing" Review
Black Siren returns to give Chase help; Felicity plans a birthday party for Oliver; Lance is angry with Rene for missing the custody hearing about his daughter.
This was a really interesting episode that was so entertaining to watch and had a lot of really great moments to watch. It was really interesting to see how each of the members of team arrow was eventually picked up by Chase's team. I really didn't care for the fact that they made Lance forget about Black Siren because did the writers forget that earlier in this season they had a whole episode dedicated to Black Siren pretending to be Loral and crushing Lance's heart, even more, they made it seem like he had no idea of her existence when that is just not true, if they instead wrote it as him not being aware that Black Siren broke out of prison so he is a bit hesitant to shoot someone who looks like Loral I would be a bit more forgiving but they went and made him completely dumb. It was interesting how they brought Malcolm back to help Oliver get his friends back and I can't wait to see what a team up between Oliver, Malcolm, and Nyssa might bring. The ending of this episode where they decided to bring everyone back to the island Oliver was stuck on was an okay idea but it was really only thrown in there so Oliver could go and get Deathstroke. I didn't much care for the idea that they decided to not show Rene or Dinah at all in this episode because the least they could have done was so them with the rest of the team when they first showed up on the island but now I have to guess that they are trapped somewhere else on the island. And just overall this was an okay episode for its purpose which is to next up the next episode but is wasn't the greatest of on its own.
Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 22 "World's End" Review
With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world.
This was a really entertaining and great episode that did an amazing job at wrapping everything up from this season as well as setting things up for the next season. I really liked how they brought Ghost Rider back in this episode and actually gave him a reason for being there which is that he is truly the only person who can physically hurt Aida and he is on a quest to bring down Aida and the Darkhold once and for all. It was really interesting how Aida's team of LMD's tried to carry through with their plans to make the public afraid of inhumans and for the most part they succeeded, but they forgot the Darkhold giving the agents more power. I did really like the scene where Aida and found Simmons and Fitz and asks Fitz to give a reason as to why she shouldn't kill Simmons, that whole scene was really interesting especially when the truth came out as to what was really going on. Then the Ghost Rider jumping inside of Coulson was a really cool way to end Aida but it also makes me curious as to why the Rider chose him because the Ghost Rider only picks people who have darkness inside of them so what is Coulson hiding. All the moments with Mack and Yo-yo inside of the Framework was great with Mack realizing that the Framework in falling apart around him but he still doesn't want to leave his daughter. I really loved the scene where Mack brings up how he won't leave because the only person he cares about is sitting right there with him and he was talking about his daughter and then Yo-yo says the same thing but she is talking about Mack. And then the ending for Radcliff was really great with him having this whole speech about understanding all the mistakes he made and his is all alone on the beach and his speech is cut off because he disappears out of existence and it was just really cool to have that moment of silence that followed him disappearing. And just overall this was a really great season finale and I can't wait to see where they will go next especially with the Inhuman royal family being introduced.
The Flash Season 3 Episode 22 "Infantino Street" Review
Barry chooses to use any means necessary to save the woman he loves; The Flash turns to Captain Cold for help.
This was such a great episode that kind of felt like two episodes smashed together but it managed to stay really organized and was so entertaining to watch. I really loved how throughout this whole episode they had this feeling of dread because everyone knew that if they failed what they were trying to do that night would be the night Iris will die. I also liked that the team finally started to do things where they made plans on what to do but didn't include Barry in those plans because if Barry doesn't know then Savitar doesn't know. All the moments with Barry trying to get a hold of the power source needed to power the speed force bazooka were so great. I did like that they did have one moment where Barry goes and tries to ask Lyla nicely for the power source instead of just having him plan to break into ARGUS and steal it for himself. That being said I loved all the scenes between Barry and Captain Cold where they are breaking in and go through all of Captain Cold's strategies on how to best break into places with his plans following four steps of make a plan, follow the plan, something goes wrong, ditch the plan, or something like that and it was so great how each part of those four steps came into place. Then it was cool how even though Barry is super desperate to do anything in order to save Iris he still has a really nice side of him that is willing to stick around and save Captain Cold even though it would be way easier for him to just run away with the power source, and with that I defiantly agree with Lyla that he deserves to have the power source. The part where H.R. reviles the location of Iris to Barry was really dumb because wasn't the whole point to not even tell present time Barry so future Barry wouldn't find out so just them talking about it in the first place to either Barry was really dumb. I loved when the final scene was taking place and they had the voice over from the message that Iris recorded playing over all the drama. The ending was really cool but also surprising to see how everything turned out and I can't wait to see what will happen in the season finale and where everyone will go from there. And just overall this was a really great episode and it was so entertaining to watch.
