Supergirl Season 2 Episode 20 "City of Lost Children" Review

National City is attacked by a Phorian, a normally peaceful race with telekinetic abilities.

This was a very interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments in it. I liked that a good part of this episode was just dedicated to James finding himself as a hero and just learning that sometimes you can be a hero with the need for a mask and powers. And just all that interaction between James and Marcus was so great with them comparing their lives to one another and learning to really trust each other. I liked that Mon-El's mother being back wasn't a complete surprise to them by having a scene where Mon-El spotted her out with Lena. Then the other problem in National City of all this extra physic activity being connected to the machine Lena is building was very interesting with how they made all those connections. I loved the ending fight scene between Kara, Mon-El, and Rhea, especially the whole conversation of lies between Mon-El and Rhea about why she came back to earth and what happened to Mon-El's father. And just overall this was a really great episode and with how it ended I'm really excited to see where they will go next.

Arrow Season 5 Episode 20 "Underneath" Review

Oliver and Felicity get trapped in the bunker together, while Diggle and Lyla deal with marital issues.

This was a really boring episode that was kind of interesting but just really unnecessary. I would understand this episode if all of this was only part of an episode and then Oliver and Felicity got out and something else happened that took up a majority of the show, but the fact that the whole episode was just dedicated to Oliver and Felicity being stuck was so boring. All the flashback moments were not all that great either where they seemed to be having the same fight as they currently were in the present about Oliver not trusting Felicity but in the flashbacks the made up and shared that they still had feelings for one another. I did like the moments with Curtis and Rene trying to get into the bunker to save Oliver and Felicity and their constant bickering between each other lead to some comments by the rest of the team about how they are going to end up getting married. Then the moments between Diggle and Lyla were great with how they recovered from all the anger that was built up in the last episode by having them come to terms with the fact that their lives aren't normal and one of them might have to do something the other doesn't care for. And just overall this was a really interesting episode but it was also a really bad episode.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 20 "Farewell, Cruel World!" Review

The clock is ticking for Daisy and Simmons to get the team out of the Framework, but not everyone is ready and willing to leave.

This was a really great and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments to it. I really liked that this episode ending with almost everyone out of the framework because while the episodes inside the framework were great and did a great job with a brand new idea it was getting a little tiresome to see Daisy and Simons wondering around trying to convince everyone of the truth. It was really interesting how they got everyone to the backdoor by sending everyone in a team out on a "mission" but then also having Fitz traveling after them on a mission to kill Simons. And I really love that Radcliff got the chance to save the day and got the chance to do something to attempt to make up for all the mistakes he made. The ending with Aida was a little confusing because she's human now but also has some sort of weird teleportation powers or something that wasn't brought up at all that she was giving herself powers. I did really like the parts in this episode where they finally went back to the agents of the plane that Daisy and Simons are on and those agents just struggling to keep everything going while they are slowly running out of power because the machine the Daisy and Simons are hooked up to is taking up all the power. I really kind of hope that Fitz gets to be the hero in some kind of way to try and make up for all the bad things he did inside of the framework. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

The Flash Season 3 Episode 20 "I Know Who You Are" Review

Team Flash meets a scientist who may be the key to stopping Savitar, but is forced into a battle with Killer Frost.

This was a really interesting episode that was entertaining to watch and see how everything turned out. I'm just going to come out and say this right now I'm really disappointed with who Savitar is because it was one of my top guesses and I was really kind of hoping it would be someone outside of the main group because why does every problem just have to revolve around something happening to the main six characters that caused them to go bad. I just want a new baddie that is completely outside of being someone we have gotten to know over the season. I really like the character of Tracy and how she was portrayed as a bit of a nervous wreck that has given up on all of her research about the speed force. The relationship between her and HR is kind of fun and I'm interested to see where it might go especially once the truth about who he is comes out because he is still where the cloaking device to hide his identity right. Tracy's plan to trap Savitar is kind of interesting with the idea of it being to use Savitar's own static cling he creates when he runs to trap him. Cisco being scared to hurt his Caitlin is kind of understandable but the suddenness of him feeling like his powers were out of control really came out of nowhere. And Killer Frost wanting to live up to her name and finally, kill someone was kind of interesting. Joe finally telling the truth about all of what he does to Cecil is okay because I like that he is finally happy with someone. And just overall this was a really entertaining and okay episode to watch and I'm curious to see where they are going to go next.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 19 "Alex" Review

When Alex is kidnapped, Supergirl and Maggie must work together to save her.

This was a really great episode that took a bit of a different path with Supergirl. I really liked all the conflict between Kara and Maggie when it came to the ideas about how justice should be served, whether through force or words. I didn't much care for the ending however with Maggie and Kara switch ideas on saving Alex with Maggie using force and Kara using words. It was really interesting how Alex used her tracker as a beacon so that the DEO could track her down. It was a little weird however because that they never explained why it lead them somewhere else instead of to Alex. Then Alex using all these different tactical skills to stay alive was pretty cool. I like the moments between Lena and Mon-El's mother and them discussing the creation of some kind of portal device. It was really interesting to see Lena's choices when Kara wasn't there to gel her. And it was really interesting how the bad guy in this episode was an old acquaintance of Kara and Alex. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch.  

Gotham Season 3 Episode 16 "These Delicate and Dark Obsessions" Review

Gordon discovers new information about his father and uncle's past just as the Court of Owls devises a new plan for the future of Gotham.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that was a little confusing but still interesting to see how everything played out. I liked all the moments with Penguin and Ivy and the growth of Ivy's abilities of persuasion. And it was cool to watch Penguin grow to trust Ivy and I can't wait to see the army of freaks get together. Then Gordon going around learning more of the truth about his father's death was interesting but when the truth came out I still don't understand why Gordon's uncle wanted Gordon to know who actually killed his father. It was really cool how Gordon needed some help to secretly follow the Court of Owls so he sent Barbra to track the weapon for him. Then the ending for Gordon makes me excited to see what he will do next. Then all the moments with Bruce and the Shaman were really great with the Shaman trying to help Bruce become the protector of Gotham. It was really great how they addressed how Bruce never really left the alley where his parents died because that is so true to Batman and how one small thing can bring him back to that night. And just overall this was a really great episode and I'm excited to see where they will go from here. 

Scorpion Season 3 Episode 23 "Something Burrowed, Something Blew" Review

The team has to help Happy and Toby to get to the altar for the wedding after a simple job went haywire.

This was a really interesting and fun episode that had a lot of really fun moments in it. I like the team split up with Paige and Toby stay back at the garage to prepare for the wedding and everyone else out on the field dealing with the fire problem. It was very interesting and fun that they brought Ray back to kind of be the replacement for Paige and he is really bad at his job and messing a lot of things up. Then it was interesting with how they took Paige in this episode because she is a lot better off now with her new job giving her a lot of benefits but she is not as happy as she was with Scorpion. And with how this episode ended I’m curious to know if she quit her other job that she was so much better off with. The actual mission with them stopping an underground fire caused by a lightning strike was pretty interesting but it was a little tiresome how many different problems they seemed to run into while stopping this fire. I was cool that their solution to stop the fire was to heat up a chunk of sand that the fire was going to run through enough so that is created a glass was the fire couldn’t get through. The actual wedding scene was really sweet and simple and I liked that Walter and Paige finally truly talked to each other even if I still don’t care for them as a couple. And just overall this was a really entertaining episode and with how this episode ended I excited to see where they will go.
