Arrow Season 4 Episode 13 "Sins of the Father" Review

Oliver receives an offer from Nyssa that is hard to refuse, Meanwhile Thea continues to battle the bloodlust Malcolm steps in to help his daughter, and Laurel has a Heart to Heart talk with Nyssa.

I loved this episode so much it was so good and full of really great moments. I loved all the backstabbing and secrets weaving around between people and everybody having some kind of hidden agenda. Nyssa being in Star City to find a way to get the ring and its powers was so great but a little weak at first when she tried to get Oliver to do the killing for her. The whole meeting scene between Malcolm and Nyssa was also great with how everything just seemed to turn on a dime. And in the end, what actually happened to the power I was not expecting. And that ending of the power still makes me curious where does Batman's whole training with the league fit into the greater timeline because now this proves that it had to be sometime in the past. But then this changes a bit of Bruce's timeline because he was the one to somewhat end the league, not Oliver. I loved also how quickly Star City just turned into chaos after Nyssa and Malcolm couldn't agree. And with how this episode ended with Malcolm returning to be one of the teams enemies and the info he gave to Dark I can't wait to see the next episode.

The Flash Season 2 Episode 13 "Welcome to Earth-2" Review

Dr. Harrison, Cisco, and Barry travel to Earth-2 to save Harrison's daughter. Barry assumes the role of his doppelganger, who's married to Iris. He then encounters alternate-Caitlin and alternate-Ronnie, who are Zoom's agents.

This was a really interesting and great episode that was so much fun to watch. I really loved how futuristic but also old timy earth 2 was and how well they did at introducing each of the characters. Also introducing characters that were villains in the Earth 1, but in Earth 2 they are just normal people. And watching Barry and Cisco's reactions to them was a very funny moment. The parts with Barry and Iris on Earth 2 were really great but also felt a bit weird to me because I really felt like Barry was over Iris and moving on with his feeling and then she kisses him once and he is just tailing at her feet again. I love love loved having Killer Frost finally making an appearance and they did such a good job of having the connection between her and firestorm and how they depend on each other to stay at a normal temperature. And after how this episode ended I'm really hoping that they will show the effects Killer Frost's powers have on herself with Firestorm not being around to help her out. Then the parts where Cisco is both imagining what his doppelganger might be like and when he finally meets him were both so fun and great, and it was fun to see a different version of Vibe. Then back on Earth 1, it was a little predictable that as soon as they went through the portal the machine would break so Barry and Cisco can't get back. But with that, it was fun to see Jay fully geared up and filling in as The Flash while Barry is gone. Overall I really loved this episode and I can't wait to see the next one.

Agents of SHIELD Season 3 Episode 13 "Parting Shot"

After tracking Malick to Russia, Bobbi and Hunter become involved in an assassination plot; the team is changed forever as they race to save lives in the balance.

This was a really great episode that almost completely focused on Bobbi and Hunter. It was a little weird how at the end of the last episode as well as the beginning of this one it had Coulson calling asking where they were and then as soon as they landed and came out of hiding the whole team seemed to be right on their tail. I did really love the moment when Bobbi and Hunter first got spotted they pretended to be all innocent but as soon as Bobbi knew that their story wasn't working out she intently switched to speaking Russian. Then a little later when Bobbi asked how was everyone's Russian and basically she is the only one who can speak it and she replies back to them saying "I thought we were spies." The Russian general who was an inhuman had one of the coolest powers in my book because I have always said that if I were a mutant or an inhuman I'd want to be umbrakinetic or at least control shadows like this guy did. But in my mind, I always thought of it as becoming part shadow but what this guy does where his shadow basically becomes its own person is so much cooler and I loved it. Then all of the interrogation scenes with Bobbi and Hunter about all that went down were really well organized in how they went about doing everything. I especially loved that Bobbi and Hunter were willing to take their punishments and no longer be able to be agents. And the whole ending scene where everyone is secretly saying goodbye to the two of them really had me in tears. Because like I've said in other reviews Mockingbird is one of my favorite superheroes so to see her leave was so devastating. But hopefully, since Marvels Most Wanted got canceled they can find a way to bring the tow of them back into the show because I would so love that.

Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 16 "Our Decay " Review

Gold creates a Storybrooke portal; Zelena and Regina clash; Belle and Rumple are reunited; Snow and David try to send a message from the Underworld to their son, Neal.

This was a really great and interesting episode that did a really great job at bringing Belle and Zelena back into the story. The whole backstory between Zelena and Hades was really interesting and done really well in showing the growth of their relationship and how much Zelena struggles with relationships. But it was a little weird to see how head over heals Hades was for her and I'm curious to see if he is being truthful with those feelings. I didn't know what to expect when they said that Dorthy was going to be in this episode and all I have to say is that she was very interesting and well acted and I kind of hope to see some more of her because it was an interesting take the writers did in creating this stronger more experienced Dorthy. All the moments between Robin and Zelena were really great too with showing how much she wants to be a mother and the main heroes really kind of need to give her a chance to learn and figure things out without thinking she is going to run away and never come back. Which is all very weird because for a long time Zelena was a least favorite character for me but in this episode she really did shine and as long as in the episodes to come they don't over due showing her again I might continue to enjoy her. All the other parts with everyone else were a little boring and really felt like filler to have those characters in this episode because overall this episode was about Zelena and Hades. Like the moment between Belle and Gold I thought was going to be this big dramatic moment but it became more like they were just bickering with each other. Then Snow and David trying to contact their son was completely unimportant. And I don't even remember what everyone else did that's how little important they were to this episode. Overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait to see more.

Arrow Season 4 Episode 12 "Unchained" Review

The team faces off against a formidable villain nicknamed The Calculator. Meanwhile, Nyssa makes her move and Roy Harper returns to Star City.

This was a really great episode that had A lot of interesting twists and turns that I was not expecting at all. I loved that they brought back Roy in this episode and I kind of hope he sticks around more for future episodes. The Calculator in this episode was amazing with all his technology and just how easy this massive plan of his and his ability to find people with dark secrets that they want to keep hidden and blackmail them into doing all his dirty work was just amazing with how well it was written and shown in this episode. Then the surprise at the end showing who The Calculator actually is I was not expecting at all and I can't wait to see how that might effect the group later down the line. Thea in this episode was really sad and it is really setting it up to make it be her grave that Oliver is standing by in the scene that they keep showing every once and a while. Which is really sad if it is true because she is one of the characters I want to die the least. She has made such leaps and bounds of change as the seasons have gone on and she makes such a great Speedy. I still have hope that the grave is someone else like Oliver's kid or the mother of his kid, even though that would be really sad too. Nyssa finally out and setting up her revenge on Malcolm was so much fun to see especially with them bringing back Katana into the mix. Overall this was a really amazing episode That I can't wait to see what the next one will bring.

The Flash Season 2 Episode 12 "Fast Lane" Review

Barry tries to team up with Dr. Harrison but finds out Harrison prefers working alone. The Flash fights a new meta-human. Iris researches her brother's drag racing. Dr. Harrison starts stealing Barry's speed.

This was a really interesting episode but not the greatest of episodes. I loved the idea of bringing in Tar Pit and I loved his whole story plot in this episode and I kind of wish to see more of him in the future, hopefully. The parts with Barry and Harry was fine but it felt and little to pushed on both ends to keep the conversation going. Then Harry having fully created his device that will steal Barry's speed was really cool with how small and inconspicuous it was.But I have no idea of why Harrison thought that just a little bit of Barry's speed would satisfy Zoom enough for his to give Harrison his daughter back. I knew from the very beginning that Zoom wouldn't be satisfied until all of Barry's speed was his. But in the end, the device made a good scene were Harrison admitted to them all what he did to Barry. All the parts with Iris were so boring and just seemed really pointless until the actual drag race scene where everything went wrong. I was curious how they were going to bring in the full world of earth 2 but now in the next episodes we get to see and I'm so excited to see Killer Frost in action.

Code Black Season 1 Episode 16 "Hail Mary" Review

Christa becomes insecure in her new relationship with Neal when his ex-girlfriend, Dr. Grace Adams, returns to Angels Memorial after spending a year volunteering in Haiti. Also, New York Giants Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. comes to the ER to convince his stubborn high school football coach, Pete Delaney, to have life-saving surgery.

This was a really great episode after all the drama that went on in the last episode, but there were a few points in the episode that got a little annoying. The main annoyance was Dr. Adams with how she just brought this poor dying girl into the ER and expected basically everyone to drop everything and help this little girl because she is their friend. I just feel like if the character had worked with them as long as they state that she would have known that that is not how their ER works and she might have tried something else. This is especially true with how Dr. Adams just assumed that Neal would fall right back into her arms and help after they had broken up around a year ago before she left. And with that, I'm confused what Neals actual position is in the hospital because his took the position to become a full surgeon to be able to help this little girl, but then you also saw him still running around and helping at the ER, so which is it. All the moments with Beckham Jr. and his coach were really sad, but they also felt a little awkward to me. I loved how Leanne went from a very professional head of the ER in how she dressed and acted and the beginning of this episode to have her put back on her scrubs by the end. I also really loved the scene where Malaya was freaking out over someone dying under her care and how it all seemed very similar to Angus in the first episode, but that being said I wish Angus might have been there to calm her down much like Malaya did in the first episode. But still it was a great moment to again show how capable Mike is in teaching and helping all of them. Overall this was a really great episode that was a fairly enjoyable watch.
