Riverdale Season 3 Episode 7 "Chapter Forty-Two: The Man in Black" Review

Fearful that he will be caught, Archie hits the road and ends up at a farm outside Riverdale; Betty finds herself up against a formidable foe from her past; Veronica makes a risky business decision that could cost her everything.
This was a really weird and not all that entertaining or exciting of an episode that had some good parts to it but it just felt so out of place. Everything with Archie and Jughead on their whole road trip adventure was just odd and out of place, where they go to this random town and get a place to stay on this farm as long as they do some work. And through their work they discovered that the Griffins and Gargoyles game has reached this town and apparently Veronica's dad essentially owns the town and everyone follows him blindly and that just felt so odd that this random mob boss guy could take over a bunch of small towns in would want to just for the chance that it could come in handy for him in the future. Then Archie having this random one-off relationship with the owner of the farm felt so odd with him just breaking up with Veronica. Then how they eventually escaped and outsmarted Hiram was just odd too and didn't make much sense and it just felt so overdramatic. Everything with Betty and her stay in the Sisters of Quiet Mercy Asylum was probably some of my favorite moments in this episode with her going up against and also teaming up with Ethel to figure out more of the history around the Griffins and Gargoyles game and dealing with some of the people that are the most in-depth into this game. Then everything with Veronica again felt like just a bunch of shoed in moments to give Veronica something to do in the episode where her whole part was to figure out how to get more money for her speakeasy so she decides to have a casino night and brings in one of her dad's mobster friend's sons to host and then she figures out a way to outsmart him so she actually is gaining a prophet and it just felt really kind of pointless and unnecessary for the grander scheme of this episode. Then just overall this was an okay episode that had some good moments but it just felt really odd and unnecessary and just way too overdramatic and overdone.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 6 "Chapter Forty-One: Manhunter" Review

Betty follows some strong leads in hopes of finding out who the true Gargoyle King is; Veronica's attempt to prove Archie's innocence lands her in hot water.

This was a very confusing and a real mess of an episode that was kind of hard to follow and really felt like they were trying to just connect events all in the hopes to start tying up all of the storylines they have set up. Everything with Betty in this episode was just a mess with her working to find out who did the original poisoning during the Midnight Clubs events. And everything with Penelope is just confusing being her motivations and actions just don't make any sense. Then everything with Jughead is just out there with him continuing to follow leads to bring him the Gargoyle King. I did enjoy the moments with them confronting Joaquin and learning a bit more about the in's and out's of the game that they haven't gotten to yet. Veronica's moments in this episode were just odd with her looking into freeing Archie and the evidence she found was just way to easy and her confrontation with her father made very little sense. Then Archie's actions in this episode were just odd where he went to confront the other kids who accused him only to find them dead at Hiram's hand. Then just overall this was a confusing episode that felt like a bit of a mess with how it was all put together.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 5 "Chapter Forty: The Great Escape" Review

Veronica devises a dangerous plan to break Archie out of juvie; Betty finds herself in a race against the clock to save Jughead when takes his investigation a step too far.

This was a really interesting but weird episode that had some good moments to it but it was also just really confusing. Everything with Jughead was interesting with him and some of the serpents playing the game and looking for new quests to go on. Then the blurring on the line between reality and the game was the main thing that was really cool but also confusing. Because I enjoyed how it was shown with Jughead narrating everything the Veronica and Archie were doing as if it was part of the game but it was just weird to see how all those similarities matched up. But seeing everything around the planning on the breakout and how every character played there part and how it all went down was very interesting to see. It was also confusing on the parts with Maddog coming back to life out of nowhere to fight Archie and Joaquin having a mission to stab Archie to gain his freedom. Then I enjoyed the bait and switch they did in order to distract the police and get Archie out of there. The ending was also interesting but confusing with the Warren going through the achenium ceremony and Archie hiding out in the bunker with others taking turns watching over him. Overall this was an entertaining episode that had some good moments to it.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 4 "Chapter Thirty-Nine: The Midnight Club" Review

When Betty confronts Alice about Gryphons and Gargoyles, Alice has no choice but to come clean about how she, along with the other parents, played the game in the early '90s, how a shocking mystery has been plaguing them all ever since.

This was a really interesting and great episode that was so much fun to watch as see how everything turned out and it was really fun to see a parent-centered episode and how they all got to where they are now. It was a little annoying how much of a breakfast club parody they decided to make this episode but with that, it was fun to see how they chose to style everything. The moments with Penelope were interesting with the truth coming out of her being groomed into being Clifford's wife and everything around that was really interesting to see. Then everything around the game and which rolls each character took was fun to see how it somewhat of macheted them perfectly. Alice being the central focus character was also an interesting move with the secret of her pregnancy and her life-changing affecting some of her actions. Which played into a really great ending moment where Alice was the only one not super high so she witnessed some of the weird things that went on around the Gargoyle King. Then the mystery around the death of the principle and one of the kids being responsible for it makes for a possible great storyline in future episodes surrounding which one of them become the Gargoyle King. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and fun episode and I can't wait to see what will happen now that more people are starting to play the game again.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 3 "Chapter Thirty-Eight: As Above, So Below" Review

Suspicious roadblocks threaten to delay the opening of the speakeasy; Betty and Jughead follow different leads; Archie is forced to make a difficult decision.

This was a really interesting and great episode that had a lot of entertaining moments to it and for a lot of the future. Everything with Archie was interesting with him having to join this prison fight club in order to not get into more trouble. And I found it really interesting how they showed his development by having him do his first fight by trying to get it over with as fast as possible then he learned to put on more of a show to be able to impress people more. I'm also very interested to see what they're going to do in the episodes to come now that Archie is planning to escape and I'm curious to see what will happen once they do escape or once I get caught trying to. Then everything with Betty and Jughead was interesting with them looking more into this mysterious game and how they both made new discoveries was really great. I enjoyed the moment with Jughead approaching Ethel about joining the game and Ethel made the comment that he could but that he could but that he would never be worthy I just thought that was a really funny sort of moment that made me laugh. And all the moments with Jughead actually playing the was really interesting to see what it was like and I'm curious to see what happened now the manuals for the game have gotten out. With Betty, it was interesting to see her finally looking into the farm more and trying to figure what they're all about and discovering some new secrets about her mother and her mother's connection to the game. Veronica's moments in this episode where not all that important but they were interesting to see her opening up this little area that everyone can hang out in and I just think it's a very interesting way to get all the characters together in one place in the future and to see how all the side characters fit into this new speakeasy makes me excited to see what they will do with them in the future. Then just overall this was a really interesting episode and I'm really excited to see what's can happen in the next episode now that it's going to be about what the parents were like when they were teenagers.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 2 "Chapter Thirty-Seven: Fortune and Men's Eyes" Review

After a gruesome discovery is made in the forest, Jughead and Betty team up to investigate; Archie navigates his new surroundings.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments to it. Everything with Archie was interesting with him getting adjusted to life in the detention center and not knowing where he should fit in. I really enjoyed them bringing back Joaquin to cause Archie to not fit in with the Serpents because Joaquin was using how Archie was in season one. Then how Archie got to fit in was interesting with him setting up a football game for different members to fight in a more organized way. Then the ending for this episode was interesting with Archie's cellmate disappearing and Archie having to step up to take his roll in this prison. Then everything with Veronica was interesting with her doing exactly what Archie told her not to do which is that she is trying to set up and waiting for Archie to return. Then Betty and Jughead in this episode were interesting with them looking into this mysterious game that is causing people to die and how all the different people playing the game fit together was interesting. Then Ethel being a part of this game makes me really excited to see what they're going to do with her and her roll in messing with Betty and Jughead. Then just overall this was a really interesting setup episode that makes me really excited to see what they're going to do next.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 1 "Chapter Thirty-Six: Labor Day" Review

As the jury begins deliberations in his murder trial, Archie makes a surprising request; Jughead leads the Serpents against the Ghoulies latest attack.

This was a very interesting episode that did a great job of setting up what is to come for the season and created a great level of mystery. I find it very weird how they talked about how Sabrina wasn't going to crossover with this season but that if hard to believe with how much magic and witchy stuff was going on in this episode. Then everything with Archie was really well done with the looming decision around his court case making him just done with everything and truly feeling that he is set to go to prison and he is trying to say his final goodbyes but no one is really willing to give up on him. And it was really great how he opposed everyone else's views and decided to go to the detention center in order to let the case end and so everything could just be over, but no one else is really willing to give up on proving him innocent. Then Jughead's moments in this episode were really great with him navigating the role of being the new head of the serpents, dealing with the Goolies, and dealing with Cheryl's out of control nature. And I loved how they brought all that to a head when they discover that Hotdog is being held captive by the Goolies and the serpents work to get him back. I am curious now to know if because of Jughead action what the Goolies are going to do to the North side to get their revenge. Then Betty dealing with her family was interesting with Betty dealing with her mother and sister's cult-like nature and them trying to get her to join them but Betty can see through the vale of what is going on. Then I'm curious to know with how this episode ended for Betty if what she saw her mother and sister doing was just a part of her seizure or if they are going to blame it on that. Then just overall this was a really great first episode that makes me really excited to see where this season will go.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 18 "Chapter Thirty-One: A Night to Remember" Review

The Riverdale High Drama Department presents its spring production, Carrie: The Musical.

This was a really interesting episode that was a little weird but had a lot of really great moments to it. In my opinion, this episode did a good job for a musical episode because for the most part, all the songs were just them rehearsing for the play so it wasn't so bad as them breaking out into song. it was also really interesting how everybody got cast in these rolls that match their character personalities. I really loved how parts of this episode were filmed in a different style so that it looked like we were watching the documentary the Jughead was filming. Then the whole side story around this random person threatening to kill Cheryl if she didn't step down from her role as Carrie felt like it was going to be really important but it ended up being a bit of a throwaway moment because it turned out to be someone who was just mad that they didn't get the part. And I hated how they didn't give Cheryl the chance to step down on her own but rather have her mother show up and force her. The moments with Hiram trying to cause friction between Archie and his dad was really great with how they chose to show it with Archie trying to hide his new car from his father and Hiram spilling the beans on the car's existence. Then the ending of this episode was just amazing with everybody not realizing if what was going on on the stage was part of the play or not. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 17 "Chapter Thirty: The Noose Tightens" Review

Hiram's mobster associates come to stir up some trouble; Things take a dangerous turn when an unexpected guest shows up at the Cooper residence.

This was a really great episode that had a lot of excellent moments to it. Everything around the Jones's and the Cooper's was so great with the car of the one killed drug dealer being found and they're all on edge waiting for things to be tied back to them. And I really liked the slight comment made where Jughead and Betty were told to act normal and there is a problem with that because there normal is to get involved which they can't necessarily do. Then when Chic leads a woman tied to the drug dealer back to the Cooper house it was great because you got to see both sides of Chic and how the whole family dealt with it when they were being held for ransom. Then the moment with the Serpents breaking into the house to save the Coopers was such a great moment to show that when it comes down to it the Serpents will protect there own no matter what. Everything with Archie was also interesting with him navigating that line between the Lodges and his own family. And him reintroducing the red circle to threaten the other mobster and help Hiram was interesting but I can't wait to see when that will come to bite him in the butt. Then everything with Cheryl was just so amazing with Toni not believing that Cheryl went to a private school in Europe and she gets the help of Josie and Veronica to help track down Cheryl to a conversion therapy center at the Sisters Of Quite Mercy. And I really enjoyed the revelation the Josie had that all the bad things that happened to her were not because of some creepy guy but rather Cheryl trying to show her affection. Then just overall this was a really great episode and I'm really excited to see what will happen next.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 16 "Chapter Twenty-Nine: Primary Colors" Review

In the aftermath of Hiram's plans, Jughead resorts to drastic measures to voice his opposition; Tensions between Fred and Archie reach a breaking point.

This was a really great episode that had a lot of entertaining moments to it and each of the independent storylines were well done and great on there own as well as together. Everything with Archie and his family was really interesting with Fred trying to cut all ties to Lodge industries and Archie's mother coming back to help him, but Archie dealing with the problems of either choosing his family or the Lodge's. Then the moments with Jughead going on a hunger strike and chaining himself to South Side High all to protest against the Lodge's was really well done especially with Archie having to be the in-between person so that the Lodge's don't get any bad press by hurting a bunch of kids. Veronica was great in this episode with her trying to not create any buzz around her but everyone is angry about what her parents are doing and they only have access to take that anger out on her. Then her campaign to run for student president was an interesting story with how everything turned out with it finally being revealed that Veronica knew the whole time what her parents were up to. Betty was really great with her trying to figure out more about who Chic could be and why he is really there. Cheryl was some of the best moments in this episode with being fully paranoid that her mother and uncle are out to get her and her grandmother which is fully justified. Then just overall this was a really amazing episode and I'm very excited to see what will happen next with how this episode ended.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 15 "Chapter Twenty-Eight: There Will Be Blood" Review

Fred considers running for Mayor; Betty becomes increasingly suspicious of Chic; Jughead makes a major discovery in his quest to take down Hiram.

This was a really great and interesting episode that had a lot of entertaining moments to it. I really enjoyed everything around Jughead slowly trying to put the pieces together of what Hiram is up to and why he's buying up so much of the south side. And the eventual reveal that Hiram has also bought Pop's shop was interesting to finally see all the pieces put together. Then the eventual reveal at the end of this episode of what Hiram actually has planned is kind of weird but also interesting with his plan being that he wants to build a prison and create a bunch of new jobs because of that. Then everything with Archie and his father was well done with their relationship becoming more strained with the idea that his father will be more in the pockets of the Lodges and that Archie has to decide if he's willing to let his father take on this role as mayor. Then everything with Betty in this episode was amazing with her finding a way to prove whether or not Chic is who he says he is. And she does that by using the need for a test to prove Blossom blood to decide whether or not certain members of the family get a cut of Clifford Blossom's fortune. Those scenes also let into some great moments with Cheryl and her slow discovery that her newly discovered uncle and her mother are planning against Cheryl and her grandmother. Then just overall this was a really well-done episode with some entertaining moments and I'm very curious to see what will happen now that Hermione is running for mayor.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 14 "Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Hills Have Eyes" Review

Determined to uncover Hiram's plans, Jughead presses Veronica about what she may know; Cheryl makes a surprising connection with an unlikely friend.

This was a really interesting episode that had a lot of really entertaining moments to it. It was really interesting to see what the main four got up to once they left Riverdale together to get some R&R. I liked watching Archie seal with all the stress he was put under by Hiram about keeping Veronica safe and out of the know about what Hiram is doing as well as watching over Jughead to make sure he doesn't make a fool of himself with questioning Veronica about what her family is up to. I didn't care much for the scene around Jughead and Veronica kissing to make up for when Betty and Archie kissed the whole scene just felt really random and unnecessary to the plot and it was really just there to give a glimpse of how things could have gone. Then everything around Kevin and Josie finally figuring out what was going on between there parents was some of the best moments in this episode. I especially loved the moments when Josie confronted Kevin about what was going instead of waiting for Kevin to figure it out himself. It was just really great to see Josie using her pain to hurt Kevin but then eventually them working together to get through all of what is going on. Then Josie's mother stepping down as mayor makes me really excited to see what is next. Then the moments between Cheryl and Toni make me really excited to see what will happen to between them. Then overall this was a really great and entertaining episode.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 13 "Chapter Twenty-Six: The Tell-Tale Heart" Review

A hasty decision comes back to haunt Betty; Tensions between Hiram, FP and Jughead spiral out of control; Archie is forced to make a tough decision.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that was a little confusing at moments but still fun. Everything with Betty was really entertaining around her dealing with the dead body that she helped her mother hide. It was so entertaining to see Betty putting more suspicion of Chic's actions and dealing this the paranoia of waiting to be caught. I really enjoyed how eventually Jughead and FP got involved to fix the mistakes that FP made in the last season. The Jughead slowly figuring out more of what Hiram is up to was interesting but still a little confusing because they aren't going into a lot of detail and it is really annoying because of that. Then everything with Archie and the secret agent was so annoying especially once it all can to a conclusion that made little to no sense which was that apparently the Lodge's hired him to spy on Archie to see if he could be trusted. Then everything around Hal, Alice, and Penelope were just really stupid of a subplot that really makes no sense. But still overall this was a really fun and interesting episode and I'm curious to see what will happen next.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 12 "Chapter Twenty-Five: The Wicked and the Divine" Review

An act of vandalism stirs up suspicion; Archie's new job as Hiram's intern has Veronica worried he'll learn about the Lodge family secrets.

This was a very interesting and okay episode that did have some great moments in it but it was very few and far between. Everything between Archie and Hiram was interesting especially around the poker game and Archie finally putting all the pieces together on who Hiram actually is. Everything with Jughead was great with the return of Penny and the final moments of Tall Boy where he finally tells the serpents how he truly feels about the direction the serpents are going in. Then everything with Betty's family was just a mess but it is nice to see Hal out of the picture again even for the short time. But overall there wasn't a lot to this episode it was just a lot of moments that were really drawn out to unreasonable lengths which just brought this episode to be okay.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 11 "Chapter Twenty-Four: The Wrestler" Review

Archie joins the wrestling team to get closer to Hiram; Jughead digs up shocking details about Riverdale's past; Betty unearths some dark secrets about Chic.

This was a really interesting and weird episode that seemed way too weird and there was so much unimportant stuff going on that made very little next to no sense as to why it needed to be in this episode. Everything around Archie joining the wrestling team in order to win over Hiram was alright because it was cheesy and fully in the mode of the storyline used over and over again about the boyfriend trying to win over the girlfriends father. The only parts that didn't make much sense to me were near the end when Hiram's opinion of Archie just seemed to quickly change once Hiram discovered what Archie did to Nick. The Veronica's whole part in this made no sense because I couldn't understand by the way she was acting if she wanted her father to know that Archie is doing all this for him or not. Betty and Chic were alright because it was mostly about them learning more about each other and Betty's father, not approving of Chic being there. The only part that seemed really confusing was how overdramatic they acted about finding out that Chic is actually a camboy and it was put out there as being this big dark and evil thing. I wish they would have done more with Cheryl because in this episode she discovered this big secret about her family and how they got their land and it was brushed off so lightly with only one small moment of her being upset and then the next moment she was back to normal like it was nothing. The moment with Jughead were just way to overdone with him doing a report and finding out that the Blossom family hired a group of people to murder and kick out all the native people of the land and he decided to go all out with this news letting everyone know about it multiple ways and didn't really seem to care about anyone's feelings. Then just overall this was a really entertaining episode that was interesting to watch and see how everything turned out.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 10 "Chapter Twenty-Three: The Blackboard Jungle" Review

Tensions mount when Jughead and his fellow students from Southside High transfer to Riverdale High; Betty sets out to find her long-lost brother.

This was a really interesting and okay episode that was a little weird and how everything went down but it was still entertaining to watch it all. Everything around the Southsiders transferring to Riverdale seemed so over-the-top and overdramatic with how everyone reacted to it especially the Riverdale people like Cheryl and Reggie. Because the Southsiders were rather calm about it and they did make some great points about how they're willing to put up with anything for the fact that they're finally at a better school. And I just felt really bad for the Southsiders with everything they had to go through because of Cheryl, Reggie, and the principal not being on their side. Then Jughead was just really confusing with his drastic changes in opinions and moods in this episode where he seemed so dedicated to the cause of the serpent, that he was willing to do anything for them but then at other times he seems so cold and not and all over the top so it was just really confusing to know what was going on his head. I did however like the ending with him setting up a club so that the Serpent's could still be together and be themselves in some way or another. Then everything around Veronica was not all that important but still interesting with her working with her father and doing everything she can to not cause a commotion between the Riverdale High students in the Southsiders. Then Betty in this episode was interesting with her and Alice going through all this work to finally meet the long-lost brother. And their reactions to the first encounter and everything around that just seemed so over dramatic. Then the ending of how Chic actually ended up staying with the Coopers just seems so odd and out of place that Betty would show up right as Chic was getting mugged and she would drag his bleeding body all the way back to her own house didn't make much sense. But all did add up to make a really great ending with Chic standing over Betty's sleeping body making me wonder what his real intentions are. Then everything was Archie was just really confusing and hard to explain with him working with this like FBI agent to look in the Hiram and a lot of it just didn't make that much sense with all the promises that the FBI agent was making with Archie. And just overall this was a really interesting and okay episode that did have some really entertaining moments to it.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 9 "Chapter Twenty-Two: Silent Night, Deadly Night" Review

Veronica uncovers a major secret about her father; Betty and Archie's vow to take down the Black Hood once and for all leads to a dangerous showdown.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that wasn't the greatest but it did have some really nice moments to it. The moments with Veronica were okay but really weird how the moods of her and her parents just seemed to change constantly from sentence to sentence. I'm very interested to see what the secret her family was hiding that they let her be a part of by the end of the episode. Then the moments with Cheryl were kind of weird with her doing all these different things behind her mother back just to mess with her. Then the moments with Archie and Betty were okay with them finally putting the pieces together of who the black hood is. I really didn't care for the sudden turn that they made on who the Black hood is and why Betty is involved in his fixation it just felt really kind of weird and rushed and like they were giving us a bunch of sudden information without any real explanation. The only really good moments in this episode were the moments with Jughead and him finding a way to get rid of Penny once and for all. All the scenes between him and his father and then when he eventually did confront Penny it was all really great and the best parts of this episode. Then just overall this was a really entertaining and okay episode that wasn't the best one out there.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 8 "Chapter Twenty-One: House of the Devil" Review

Jughead and Betty organize a welcome home party for FP's release; Archie and Veronica must push their issues aside upon taking over the Black Hood investigation.

This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had some really fun moments to it. I really liked FP's return and how everyone reacted to the news and the whole decision of whether or not FP was going to retire from the serpents. Then everything with Betty was interesting with her working on trying to find a way to be more involved in Jughead's life of being a Serpent. Then Betty's mother returning to the life of a Serpent for one night to honor FP was really great. But I wonder what more of the history is between Betty's mom and FP that she made the comment that she doesn't want their kids to make the same mistakes they did. I am really happy that FP didn't actually retire and I'm really excited to see what he might do to help fix some of the mistakes Jughead made. Then everything with Veronica and Archie was alright with the looking into the Riverdale Reaper story more and coming to some conclusions about who the killer might be and why they are killing people. But the whole storyline around Archie and Veronica in this episode was just way too overdone with them introducing the storyline of Archie telling Veronica that he loves her and she doesn't feel the same way so that puts a major stress on their relationship in this episode. Then just overall this was a really interesting episode but not the most exciting of episodes.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 7 "Chapter Twenty: Tales from the Darkside" Review

The town remains on edge after a chilling letter from the Black Hood challenges the town's residents to remain sinless for 48 hours, or he'll strike again.

This was a really great and exciting episode that was really fun to watch with how they decided to stylize the whole story of the episode. And with that, I really enjoyed that style because they decide to go about repeating the same 48 hours over and over but each time it was with a different set of the main characters and just showing what each of them did within those 48 hours. And the first chunk with Archie and Jughead was interesting with them to going to do this drug run for the Serpent's and just everything that they encountered with that was interesting to see what all it revealed for the possibility of the masked man. And I'm very interested to see how that connection might come out going forward with them learning about this old killer in Riverdale known as the Reaper I believe. Then the second part revolved around Cheryl and Josie and Josie trying to go about her normal life but a lot of things keep getting in the way. And when the truth was revealed about what Cheryl is actually doing I'm very interested to see what might happen if that truth actually comes out. Then everything with Veronica and Betty was interesting but probably the weakest point in the episode in my opinion because it felt like they were leading up to this big reveal secret but it was not really anything new in my opinion. I did really like those split opinion between Veronica and Betty about what the sheriff is up to and both of them trying to prove the other one wrong and how they each one went about doing that was interesting to see but then actual truth like I said what the sheriff was doing wasn't all that exciting but it will be interesting to see when that does eventually come out for everyone know. And just overall this was a really interesting and exciting episode and I'm very interested to see what they're going to do with the story going forward.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 5 "When a Stranger Calls" Review

Betty turns to Archie for help after receiving an ultimatum; Veronica's old friend comes to town, but his plans for a wild night takes an unexpected turn.

This was a really interesting episode especially with everything around Betty and the masked man. And it was really interesting how they chose to approach those moments between Betty and the masked man and him trying to get her to cut off all her other friends and him making this deal that if she did what he asked of her and she would get to ask him a question about himself as long as it wasn't too specific like what his name was. And that really became like the main reason Betty was doing any of the stuff that she was doing and it was just really interesting to see how she actually cut people off where she got really angry at Veronica and then she actually asked Archie to cut off the relationship with Jughead so that was just all really interesting and great with how it was all done and shown. And that moment between Archie and Jughead was really great with how Archie reacted to Jughead joining the Serpent's even though Archie really hasn't been there much for Jughead in the first place in my opinion. And everything around Jughead joining the Serpent's was really great and interesting with all the different Gonlent trials he had to go through to become a member we're really kind of fun to see as well as his friends trying to keep asking him if he really does want to join the Serpent's because once he's joined he can't leave. Then everything with Veronica and her friend was interesting with her sort of discovering that she has changed since she's come to Riverdale and how her old friends aren't really the best people to be friends with and it was just really great in that moment when all that was fully realized and her new friends from Riverdale were sort of there to support and be there for each other. And then everything in this episode around Betty's mother was really great with it coming out that Betty's mother was a serpent and the whole scene of Betty's mother sort of accepting that as her reality is really great and I kind of can't wait to see what the truth around that will be when it does come out like how did she leave the Serpent's if she did. I kind of can't wait to see how the moment between Betty and the masked man comes to play in the future where Betty was forced to put on a mask very similar to his so I'm curious to know if that mask will be discovered by the police or something and the bring Betty in and question the fact that her DNA is in it. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and see how everything played out and I can't wait to see what will happen in future.
