Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 9 "Proof of Concept" Review
Tanner receives an offer of new evidence in Mia’s case if Sophe can prove someone is innocent of murder; Tanner and Sara begin depositions with AllSourcer for the rights to Sara’s work and Sophe’s code.
This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that had a lot of really great moments to it. It was really interesting how they found all the clues leading to whether the person is a murderer or not. I don’t really care much for the way this show seems to be going because it really seems like they are using Sophe less and less with each episode and instead they seem to just keep stumbling upon the evidence they need. The whole episode was also written kind of weird with how much this potential murderer kept secret until it became a life or death kind of moment. Like the fact of her story where she stumbled upon her roommate already dead when she got home, even if I was drunk or high out of my mind I feel I would say that right away and not keep that part a secret. Then who the actual murderer was felt like a weird throwaway way to wrap the whole story up. The new evidence that Tanner received about Mia’s case was interesting because it did revile that there was more going on to Mia’s death than just a crime of passion. I did enjoy all the moments with the AllSourcer deposition and Sara share her story of how Sophe came to be. I also really enjoy the fact that AllSourcer doesn’t seem to mind playing dirty in order to get what they want and I’m excited to see where that might take the story in the future. And just overall this was a really entertaining and fun episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 6 "Trojan Horse" Review
The team must locate the source of a deadly online challenge that's targeting vulnerable teenagers; Alex's connection to Tanner's former company may be a personal and political issue.
It was a really interesting and entertaining episode that did a really great job of having nice moments to a very hard topic. And I really enjoyed all the moments for Sarah and her trying to deal with everything that's going on with these kids and they show that something's bothering her but they take quite a while in to the episode to actually explained what's going on with her so that was interesting and well done in the way that they did it. Then I really liked how they did this episode with the cops not knowing how these kids are getting a hold of this online game that's causing them to kill themselves and just how they shot that progression of the story of how they eventually figured it all out was really interesting. I wasn't a big fan of the fact that didn't really show much of what Sophie was doing to help it just seemed like they stumble upon the answer themselves or they knew what to do without any explanation of how they got those answers. And I really like what they did with the ideas of each member of Sophie having some sort of connection to these kids in an emotional way or just they have a connection to like the back history being in the same position these kids so that was really interesting. I didn't really like how quickly they found the guy who created this site that was causing the kids to kill themselves because it just seemed really out there where they were like only has this guy and that he kind of sort of confess pretty easily so that was just really weird but his explanation of why was to sort of cut off the weaker links was an interesting thing to see his mindset. I did really love the ending of this episode where it showed one of the kids and their moments before completing the game and just the whole conversation between her and Sarah was really great with showing ideas of suicide and how there is people who are left to sort of have to pick up the pieces and that whole shot showing all these different strangers showing up to help this girl or trying to convince her to not kill herself was so great with showing that even though you don't know a person you can still care about their life. And then just overall this was a really great and so amazing episode to watch and see how everything turned out.

Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 4 "User Bias" Review
The San Francisco P.D. comes to Tanner to get Sophe's help on a politically charged murder case.
This was a really interesting and entertaining episode that did a really nice job of having this kind of difficult storyline but organizing it in a really nice way. And I really liked what they decide to do with the idea of bias in this episode where the actual characters have to set aside their biases on people especially the victim in this episode and once they did that they started to see things in a different light and unravel the truth a lot better. And then along with that, they have Sophie getting this increasing flood of information that helps to reprogram her to sort through all the data and find only the stuff that is important to the case and that's a really helpful thing that will probably be useful in the future. And the actual truth around what this victim actually wanted in his murder was interesting with how the team discovered it where they look through all like the past interviews and stuff that he did and discover that he had a real fascination for other political protesters of the past like Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, and Gandhi and people like that and he made the comment that he's not really fascinated by them because of their views but because of the fact that they died a martyr essentially. And I enjoy the moments with Tanner this episode and him getting berated by a bunch of articles sort of degrading his daughter's image and him trying to figure out where these articles are coming from and why they're out there and that whole back trail part of this episode was interesting with what it revealed. Which was that the articles initially weren't supposed to be bashing on Tanner but on his ex-wife and because of the fact of what Tanner was up to at this point I'm at kind of hit him too. And just that whole scene with Tanner and his ex-wife in the car as he's trying to explain what all was going on with the stuff around Mia was such a well done seen with how everyone reacted to everything. And just overall this was a really great and really entertaining episode to watch.

Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 3 "Machine Learning" Review
After the team puts publicly available crime data into Sophe, the platform exposes a serial killer plaguing Silicon Valley and the Bay Area by connecting previously unrelated murders.
This was a really entertaining and interesting episode that was great because the whole main case for them was brought up from the computer system and not an actual person. And with that, I really liked how Sophe made all these connections through small similarity between all the cases that a normal person might overlook. I really loved the scene where they are talking to the one women who survived an attack by the serial killer and all the little notes of things that she talks about playing into the solution of who the killer is later on. And the ending was really great for the survivor because she was so afraid to go out running again thinking she might be attacked again, but once she saw the killer was caught she put on her running shoes again and went out. Then the scenes around Tanner looking for Kevin was interesting with more and more clues being relieved around what was actually going on with Mia. And I really loved the scene where Tanner and Kevin finally meet and just sit down and talk about Mia. With all that was relieved around what was actually going on with Mia that she kept hidden from her father I kind of can’t wait to see what other truths might be shown down the line. And just overall this was a really exciting and interesting episode and I can’t wait to see what they are going to do next.

Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 2 "In the Wild" Review
A user of the crowdsourcing platform uploads new footage of Jeffrey Tanner's daughter being strong-armed by an unknown man five months prior to her murder; Tanner enlists Sophe to help with Cavanaugh's case of a missing teenager.
This was a really interesting and entertaining episode to watch and see how everything played out. I really liked all the moments around hunting for this missing kid and just the whole storyline around what was actually going on was really great with all the secrets that were slowly revealed throughout the episode. It was also really interesting how again they had a citizen going in and investigating a part of the crime themselves, I do wish they would have gone into a bit more detail on that person to help explain why he is doing what he is because was helped like one of the kids favorite teacher or what was going on there that he was so determined to find the kid. Then I really liked how they used Sophe to help narrow down the search location for the kid by asking a bunch of hikers and campers if they were in the kid's situation which direction would they most likely take. I was a little disappointed that they never showed the kid getting any repercussions for the bad and illegal things he did they kind of chose to end this episode on a happy note which to me is not all that right because yes it is nice that he is back alive but he did a lot of really bad things. Then the new evidence for Mia's death was interesting with how they made all these connections to the man leaving Mia's apartment the night she died. But the main part I loved out of all that was Mia's mother's conversation with a journalist where she was suppose to renounce all of Jeffrey's action but instead she said that she doesn't know how she feels and that once she does know she will let the press know. That was just a really great moment and I like the character even more because of that. And just overall this was a really entertaining and interesting episode to watch and I can't wait to see what they will do next.

Wisdom of the Crowd Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot" Review
A tech innovator creates a cutting-edge crowd-sourcing hub to solve his own daughter's murder, as well as revolutionizing crime solving in San Francisco.
This was a really great episode that wasn't the best that it could have been because you could go and watch the trailer for this series and end up getting this whole first episode out of it. But watching the little extra parts that weren't in the trailer were really great because it helped to get to know a lot of the main characters more. I'm very curious to see what they are going to do with the program of Sophie because I feel like the continuing theme through the season will be finding the daughters killer while also having moments in between of other crimes to solve to help improve Sophie's programming. In this episode, the extra case was interesting with how it did connect back to Mia's death but mostly the story was about these girls getting heavily drugged and then abused. And solving that whole case was interesting with how quickly everything seemed to be gathered and they tracked down the right guys. I did really like that they did devote time to the discussion about deciding whether evidence is gathered in the correct ways so that it can actually be used in court. Because if evidence is gathered in a way that is also illegal it can't be used, so the whole Sophie team had to figure out where that line is. The tech billionaire guy was probably my least favorite of all the characters because everyone else seemed really entertaining and interesting and he wasn't, he did have his moments where he did learn to adjust to what everyone else was doing. But everyone else developed as a character in this episode except for him it seemed like. I really enjoyed what they did do with the scene where Sophie got hacked and they instantly come face to face with the hacker and instead of getting rid of him the gave him a job, that was just really fun in my mind. Overall there wasn't a lot to this episode because it was mostly just introducing characters but still it was a great and really entertaining episode.
